7/31/2021 - Fusion & As You See It - So Grateful

Happy Saturday! Today’s card is using two challenges – Fusion Sketch and As You See It Color Challenge. I stamped the bold and big image of sunflower right at the corner and color it in with Watercolor Pencils and using the Blender Pen to smooth out the line. It’s hard to see but the middle section is color with Calypso Coral. Added the big bold sentiment with 2 dominate colors. I had a great time making this time and I hope you like it as well. 7/30/2021 - Freshly Made Sketch #496 - to a friend

Happy Friday everyone! Today’s card is using Freshly Made Sketch. Because of the three panel, I thought it would be a fun way to showcase the card using Plentiful Plants. Lately a lot of Stampin’ Up stamp sets are meant to build a *scene* so this card did take awhile to create. I die cut out the plants using stamp images as well as cardstock and stamp the sentiment on the DSP on the bottom right. I guess it turned out okay?! 7/29/2021 - Color Challenge / Try Stampin' Tuesday - Sending Hugs

Today’s card is using 2 challenges – The Color Throwdown & Try Stampin’ Tuesday. For some reason, this card was better when I tried to design it I guess it turned out okay. The colors I picked somehow didn’t really jive with each other although it met the challenge of the colors. Hey, there will always be time where you didn’t like a card so much but heck, that’s what creation and inspiration is all about. I used the Square Dies and cut out the middle and adhere the Whisper White stamp piece underneath for the window affect. Thank you for stopping by!

7/28/2021 - Global Design Project #302 - Happy Father's Day

This card is using Global Design Project sketch challenge. August 8^th is Taiwanese’s Father’s day and I needed a card to send to my Godfather in Taiwan so this is for him, whom used to own a golf course. The DSP is cut down at ¾” x 4” and I alternate the paper. I used the Golf Dies to create the tee, golf ball and the grass. I hope you enjoy this quick card I am sharing today.

7/28/2021 - CAS Friday DT Call - Hello Friend

Happy Hump Day! Today’s card is a clean and simple creation to be submitted at CAS Friday challenge site for consideration to be on the design team. I always love their challenges and the DT creation for sharing their inspiration. I would be so honored to join them if possible. I punched out a 2” circle and used some removable adhesive on the back for the masking technique. Then I stamped the leaf image from Forever Fern paired it with some In-Colors for this Hello Friend card. I hope you enjoy this card I am sharing today.

Happy Tuesday! Today’s card is using CAS Sunday Tiny Images. This is the first time I am using this awesome Floral Square Dies and I just adore the little images of flower that you can adhere onto the panel. I decided to cut one of the square with Granny Apple Green and the 2 little flowers are with different color of cardstock to create the main focal point. 7/27/2021 - Cardz 4 Guyz #276 Shades of Blue - For You

Welcome back to another week of challenge here at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week we are making Shades of Blue! I decided to go with a darker shade of blue I have in my stash from Stampin’ Up called Pretty Peacock. What I did to showcase different shade of blue is using a technique called Stamp Off. So what you do is stamped the first image full strength, then you kept stamping to get the lighter shades of the same colors until the ink runs dry from your stamp. So I did that with the background stamp and the sentiment. This is such a fun technique so give it a try. Be sure to join us at the challenge and check out everyone’s creation!

7/26/2021 - Inspired.Create.Challenges #90 - Plentiful Plants

Happy Monday! My dear friend came to visit me last weekend so it’s been busy here since she is working on my craft desk, I just didn’t have a way to make a card. Today’s card is using Inspired. Create. Challenges. I feel a little bit rusty on making the card, hopefully I can get back to it in no time. I went with the Pattern Party DSP (hostess) and the colors from the paper. 7/19/2021 - Make My Monday #153 Trees - Thank you

Welcome back to another week of challenge here at Make My Monday and this week we are making Tree cards. One of the few stamp set I purchased when the new catalog came out is the Beauty of Friendship Bundle. I just love all the images and the coordinating DSP, I think it’s perfect for ANY occasion, even the four seasons. For the leaves, I simply used one of the DSP for it and layer it on top of Mossy Meadow cardstock. For the sentiment, I stamped the Thank You with Craft Ink on a Misty Moonlight and added a small strip of ribbon. This actually went to a customer of mine and I hope she liked the card. Happy Thursday! Today’s card is using Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge. I used the Beauty of Friendship stamp set for this. I stamped the tree in Soft Suede using the stamp off technique and the leaves are the combination of Cajun Craze and Cinnamon Cider. I think maybe a lighter shade like Yellow might be able to see how awesome this 2 step stamping is. To finished the card I added some Crystal Effects and a sentiment in the stamp set. 7/14/2021 - CAS Sketch & Make the CArds Challenge - Happy Birthday

Happy Hump Day! Today’s card is using Make the Cards Challenge (colors) and CAS Colours & Sketches. I used my Stitched Layering Dies to create the main focal point and stamp the bird image, this reminds me of the summer time of hiking in the woods back in California and seeing all kinds of unique birds. I colored in the image with Watercolor Pencils and then finished it off Blender Pens, for more of the softer looks. I added a bold sentiment that really make the card pop. Happy raining Tuesday! Today’s card is using Tuesday Morning Sketch. When I saw the sketch, I knew I wanted to use the Beautiful Tree Dies for this. I used the DSP for the top layer of the tree and the bottom I used the solid Garden Green cardstock. The hill part is cut out using the Oval Dies and just cut it in half. I hope you enjoy this card I am sharing today. I think I will be mailing this to my cousin in Taiwan for his birthday in August!

7/12/2021 - The Paper Players & Global Design Project - Thanks a Bunch

Happy Monday – Today’s card is using Global Design Project (CASE DT) & The Paper Players Challenge (Colors). I particularly enjoyed Charlet’s Sunflower card and so I decided to use that as my inspiration. I thought the colors are pretty bold and very well compliment with each other and can create a dynamite card so that’s what I did. I sponged Bumblebee with my sponge and swirl it in the middle (this is when I realized that I need the Blending Brush) as you can see some uneven coloring and lines. I finished the card with some enamel dots and a sentiment. I hope you enjoy this card I am sharing today!

7/9/2021 - Fab Friday & CAS on Friday - Thank You

Yeah It’s Friday PART #2! I just got this new stamp set – Sharing Sunshine after seeing a few really cute samples from other Demos and wanted to use this stamp set after seeing the challenge at CAS Friday (Sunshine) and paired it with Fab Friday (Sketch). I picked up 2 different design of paper from the Pattern Party stack and used the color scheme on the rest of the card. The sunshine/ray is stamped twice using the same image and I love how there are 2 different sets of eyes for it. I think I have a perfect recipient for this awesome Thank You card.

Yeah It’s Friday! Today’s card is using Freshly Made Sketch and I just love the sketch, it’s a great way to use up your DSP and the possibilities for it is endless. I have a big leftover piece of the die cut heart so decided to start from there. The other two hears are cut out with Champagne Foil Sheet. I went with the just a little note sentiment because I think it’s perfect for any occasion. Thank you for stopping by!

7/6/2021 - CAS Colours & Try Stampin' On Tuesday - So Glad to Have You

Happy Tuesday – Part 2! This card is using 2 challenges – CAS Colours & Try Stampin’ On Tuesday. When I see the colors, the first thing came to mind is Fall Card, although we are still in the middle of Summer. I inked up the leaves in Crushed Curry and used the Rock & Roll technique to edge the outside of the leaves in Pumpkin Pie. It may be hard to see but I put Wink A Stella on all of them. I also dry embossed the Pumpkin Pie circle. I hope you enjoy this card I am sharing today!

Happy Tuesday! Today’s card is using Global Design Project & Make the Cards Challenge. I borrowed this wonderful dies from a friend in my SS Group to make some rainbow cards with the seniors at the assistant living center. When I saw the sketch I knew I wanted to incorporated that into the card. Both of the clouds are pop up with dimension and I thought by adding sentiment on each of the cloud was kind of fun! 7/5/2021 - Make My Monday #152 Anything Airborne - Hello

Welcome back to another week of challenge here at Make My Monday and this week we are making Anything Airborne. I knew I want to use the birdies image from Free As A Bird and using Watercolor Pencils with it. I decided to go with the bright colors since summer is here. I paired it up with a stripe of the new Hostess DSP and I think they goes pretty well with each other. It might be hard to see but I finished the card with Wink a Stella on the flowers. I used the retired Star Decorative Mask and sponge it with non-traditional 4^th of July colors and made it into a Hello Friend card. Then I punched out a few star with the foil sheet. 7/4/2021 - Fusion Challenge - Happy Birthday

Happy 4^th of July! Today’s card is using Fusion Challenge. I wanted to show case the 2021-2023 In-Colors as well as the new stamp set. This is a great way to use up some of your designer series paper for sure. Those pieces are cut at 1 ¼” x 4” and I stamped the cut lamb with Stazon Black and colored in with Stampin’ Markers. I added a very cute sentiment and I think this will be a great card for little girls how just adores lamb. I hope you enjoyed this card I am sharing today and have a wonderful celebration!
