Happy Monday! Today’s card is using lots of challenges (see below) and I defiantly try to keep it Clean and Simple and let the card really pop and shine itself. 2/28/2022 - Make My Monday #169 Food/Wine - Happy Birthday

Welcome back to another week of challenge here at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week we are making Food/Wine cards and guess what?! I think Popsicle is definitely in that category of *Food* hahaha! In this cold winter here in the Chicagoland area, I am totally looking forward to spring and summer in the near future but for now, this card will do! I used Balmy Blue and Soft Seafoam for the popsicle and stamped Fresh Freesia with the image of spots. I finished the card with a Happy Birthday sentiment and some enamel dots that matched the ink. 2/23/2022 - Hand Stamped Sentiment / Paper Craft Crew - Hello You

Made another card today! This one is using Hand Stamped Sentiments and Paper Craft Crew Challenge (Tic Tac Toe) – Stripes of Paper, Die Cuts and Pattern Paper. The rainbow is made with the die cut and there is actually a DSP that you can layer underneath it. The blue cloud is also cut out with a die and I finished the card with a really cute and simple sentiment. This is such a great way to show case the DSP so I think I might try it with different paper.

2/23/2022 - Global Design Project #331 - Plentiful Plants,

Happy Hump Day! Today’s card is using Global Design Project – Theme Challenge! I saw a similar card on Pinterest and decided to CASE it. I used the Picture This Dies (Circles) to fit the theme. I cut out some images from the DSP and for the biggest circle in the middle, I paired it with Plentiful Plants stamp set and the coordinating dies. 2/23/2022 - Make the Cards Challenge #49 Any Shade of Green - Thanks

Welcome back to another week of challenge here at Make the Cards Challenge and this week we are making Any Shade of Green cards. I took the liberty of making this card which has nothing but GREEN colors! The 2 designer series papers are already patterned with Green and I used the in lays and the dies to create a sentiment that’s also just Green. I would say this card is pretty quick and easy to make since I just let the DSP do all the work of representing the colors. 2/22/2022 - CASE-ing Tuesday #344 - Our Friendship / Rainboots

Today’s card is using CASE-ing Tuesday #344 on page 30 on the mini catalog. I’ve had this stamp set for awhile now and finally have more time to play with it. Under the rainboots I used the Pebbles. It may be hard to see but the stems and tulips were die cut out together but I snipped the images a little bit and you can’t even tell! I also splatter some Balmy Blue ink with Aqua Painter on the background whisper white. I hope you enjoy this card!

2/22/2022 - Cardz 4 Guyz Fancy Fold #290 - Thinking of You

 Welcome back to another week of challenge here at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week we are making Fancy Fold Card! I must say, I love unique fold but simply cannot do those really complicated one so I create this that everyone can do and still fun and unique, I called it front flap card. I made it into a Thinking of You card and paired it with the DSP from the current Stampin’ Up Annual Catalog. This is also a great way to show case your paper and use up those scraps! The tree is actually cut out using one of the DSP for the multi-colors of leaves. I hope you enjoy this card I am sharing today and be sure to join us at the challenge. Cardstock – cut at 1 ¼” each side to the score line of the card base and glue down those flaps
DSP – small panel 1 x 4” x 2 pieces and middle panel 2 ¾” x 4”
 
In addition to the masculine card, I also made another fun fold but used the more feminine colors – Polished Pink! I saw a video from Jackie B and this is using her sample.

Cardstock – score 2 ½” and 6 ½”
DPS – 2 ¼” x 5 ¼” and 1 ¾” x 5 ¼”
Inside cardstock, cut to fit since I used the tape to secure the pocket so the insert need to be much smaller.

2/21/2022 - TGIF Challenges #356 SAB - Rainbow

Happy Monday! It’s a long weekend for most people but sadly not for me as I am still working but had a chance to make a card. This is using TGIF Challenge for Sale-a-Bration item and I picked the wonderful Sunshine & Rainbow DSP, which coordinates with Rainbow of Happiness in the catalog. The colors of the DSP is very vibrant and the best part is that there are few sheet with clouds image and that you can punch out with Cloud Punch – how awesome is that. The pieces I used here are all the border pieces but I tugged them behind the panel that you can’t even tell, right?!I hope you enjoy this card I am sharing today. Thanks for stopping by!

2/18/22 - Unique Fold Card - Accordion

 I just wanted to share a quick card today from a youtube video I saw from Karen Titus for a Accordion fold card. The DSP is 3 x 12 and score at 4" and 8" and that's it. The layering piece of cardstock is 3 1/4" by 4 1/4" and these all go on just a quarter piece of cardstock. Hope you enjoy it! 

2/17/2022 - Less is More #458 - Happy Birthday

Today’s card is submitted at Less is More for Birthday theme card along with being as a DT team on the blog. I came up with a very simple birthda card using a retired die for the sentiment and showcasing our 2021-2023 In-Colors DSP. Each stripe is cut to 1” by 2 ¾” to make sure the sentiment fits. 2/17/2022 - Peekaboo Farm Love Card

Today I am sharing more cards with Love/Heart Theme since we are still in February. This card is using Paper Craft Crew Sketch along with Hearts 2 Hearts & Inkspirtational (photo challenge). It may be hard to see but the stripes of DSP is cut out using the Dies and the heart is punch out. I stamped the cute piggy image and colored it with Stampin’ Markers. 2/14/2022 - Thank You Heart Card

Today I have a quick card to share using TGIF Sketch challenge and also submitted to INKspiration & Addicted to CAS Challenge. To add some interest, I used the embossing folder on Whisper White to create a nice texture. I used the punches for the hearts and used the Sweet Talk DSP for the stripe. Instead of a Vday card, I made it into a Thank You card, I think heart paper can be use any day of the year! This card is also submitted with As You See It for my favorite technique – dry embossing!

2/14/2022 - Make My Monday #168 3 Hearts - Thank You

Welcome back to another week of challenge here at Make My Monday and this week we are making 3 Hearts card! Since today is Valentine’s day, I decided to use the DSP from the current Stampin’ Mini catalog that has hearts in the paper. Each of the DSP is 1 3/8” x 3” and the layering panel is 4 ½” x 3 ¼” and this is such a great way to show off the awesome paper we have. Another card made this week using the Freshly Made Sketch! Previously when I was making a rainbow card, I have few pieces left from it so I created another main focal point to showcase this die. The clouds are also from the die cut and I sponge Pool Party around those for some dimension. I finished the card with ribbon and I think it will be perfect for a special guy in your life! February is the month of Love and I am trying to make some to send out to my dearest friend in CA and this one is just for her. I combined the Sweet Talk DSP from the current mini with the last year’s Valentine’s Bundle I got (Lots of Hearts). I love the details of the dies for the floral image as well as the Real Red layering piece. I added a simple sentiment to let her know that I am thinking of her for Galentine’s Day! 2/9/2020 - I chews You

Happy Hump Day – finally made a card beside the DT cards. I used CASE-ing Tuesday for the layout inspriaiton and created this HEART card for my husband. I love the versatile of the DSP and it’s perfect for this as it has so many hearts with different colors. I colored in the small gumball machine and added a fun sentiment for it. To finish the cards I also added some Risin Hearts from last year’s mini catalog. I hope you enjoy this card I am sharing today.

When I saw the sketch I immediately knew I want to use this Floral Square Dies. I cut the images in Whisper White and layering them with the In-Colors DSP and the banner is watching the DSP as well.
