2/28/2023 - Multiple Challenges - Birthday Wishes

Happy last day of February! This is my last card for the month and I definitely enjoyed making this. Spring is just around the corner and I made this using multiple challenges (see below). I kept the colors to just 3 per challenge and the layout is a CASE from the current mini catalog (page 54). I pulled out a stamp set from the current SU annual catalog and found this set that’s perfect for spring flowers. I hope you enjoyed this card I am sharing today!

2/27/2023 - Make My Monday #195 Tags - For You

Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Make My Monday and this week we are making Tags! I would usually make tags to be on my card but this time, I am making a gift card tag with a tutorial I found. The cardstock is cut down at 7 ½” x 2 ¾” and scored at 2 ½” to create a pocket, then you can decorate as you wish. I simply just cut an angle at the top for to create a tag shape and use my hole puncher to create a hole for twine. This is perfect to put in a gift card along with a gift that you might have for the recipients. I hope you enjoyed this quick tag I am sharing today and be sure to join us at the challenge.

2/23/2023 - Cardz 4 Galz #193 Red/White/Pink - I love that we are friend

Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Cardz 4 Galz and this week we are making Red/White/Pink card! I saw this really fun fold and wanted to give it a try so I incorporated it into the challenge here. This is always a great way to show case both side of the designer series paper. This pack of the 12 x 12 DSP has some wonderful design that’s also good for non-Valentine’s card. To finish the card, I also added the soft pastel pink sequins. Cut the cardstock at 2 1/8” short and long way to create a flap
Then the cut down piece can be use as a flap
DSP is cut at 4 x 5 1/2” and cut down at 2”

2/22/2023 - Paper Craft Crew Challenge #506 - HELLO

Happy Hump Day! Today’s card is using Paper Craft Crew Color Challenge. All the green colors remind me that St. Patrick’s Day is coming in March so I made it into a happy rainbow card to send to my Secret Sister. I used the retired Rainbow dies with all the green colors and layer them. I also sponged the cloud with some Old Olive. To finished the card I added a simple hello. 2/22/2023 - Christmas Craft Creation February 2023 Pinks - Christmas Card

Hi everyone – welcome back to another monthly challenge here at Christmas Craft Creation – February 2023 reminder post and this month theme is Pink. I pulled out my retired Designer Series Paper and used the Stitched  Rectangle Dies and then use the same patter paper to cut down the details of the tree and adhere onto a Whisper White cardstock. Yes, as you can see, my card is truly Pink! I kept the card pretty clean without any sentiments. I hope you enjoyed this simple card I am sharing today and be sure to join us at the challenge!

2/21/2023 - Cardz 4 Guyz #316 Sports - You're The Greatest Guy By Par

Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week we are making Sports theme card and this is what I came up with. Instead of making it regular size card I made it into an easy accordion fun fold. The card base is just a quarter size of 4 ¼” x 5 ½” and the middle piece is 9 x 4 and score on the long side at 3” and 6” and fold them. As you can see, you can decorate it as much or as little as you need. I used the die cuts to create my main focal point and it’s the silver golf club, so you know this is going to be for golf lover! 2/20/2023 - Atlantic Hearts Sketch #513 - Just a Note

Welcome back to another weekly challenge here at Atlantic Hearts Sketch and this is what I came up with from the sketch. I remember that I still have this wonderful designer series paper that are stripes with many differnet colors that’s perfect for this sketch. I cut out a scallope rectangle piece and used a rainbow dies in the middle. To finish the card I just stamped a simple and cute sentiment and added some rhinstone. 2/17/2023 - Color Throwndown/TGIF/As You See It - Kindness Matter

Happy Friday! For lots of you it’s probably the long weekend but sadly I still have to work today and Monday! Today’s card is using As You See it Challenge (Favorite about Spring), TGIF (SAB item) and Color Throwndown (Pink/Yellow/Cream/Green). I used my favorite stamp set Beautifully Happy for this creation and used the coordinating colors that was listed with Crumb Cake as my cream color. I also used the all the colors on my paper as well and sentiment. This truly is a wonderful stamp set of a beautiful image. You can either do coloring with the image or use the stamp to fill it in. Either way, the result is wonderful. To finish the card I also added some pink sequins. I hope you enjoyed this creation!

2/15/2023 - Retro Rubber Challenge #200 - Time to Celebrate!

Happy Hump Day! Have a little down time and was able to make a card using Retro Rubber Challenge – Sketch. I used a fun DSP from Design a Day Dream hostess reward paper to create this card. I also paired it with the retired Windmill dies that I got for free using the hostess rewards. I picked Mint Macaroon as the color for the windmill and D Delight for the cardbase because of the colors on the DSP, I know these colors would coordinate. The sentiment Time to Celebrate is a stamp set from about 2-3 years ago. I still kept it because the stamp set has so many Birthday related sentiments. 2/14/2023 - Inkspirational / Inspired.Create.Challenge - There's no one like you

Happy Valentine’s Day! Todays’ card is using Inspired.Create Challenge (Color) and inkspirational (use stencil). The stencil I used I bought from the Mini Catalog but right now you can also get it for free when you spend $50 during Sale-A-Bration. I used the good old fashioned sponge to sponge the colors and for some reason it looks softer like Watercoloring. The Whisper White piece is layer on top of Polished Pink DSP and then Fresh Freesia cardstock. I also added some bling bling a you can see! 2/13/2023 - Make My Monday #194 All Creatures Great and Small - Hello There

Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Make My Monday and this week we are making card with creatures, and animals can be a creature, right?! Today’s card has a cute image of a cow that I colored with Watercolor Pencils and Aqua Painter. I also added a cute flower for the cow so this can be perfect for any of our girlfriends. 2/10/2023 - The Color Throwdown / Darling Cardmaker - Hello

Happy Friday! 2^nd post today as I’ve been in the creating mood lately! This card is using Darling Cardmaker & The Color Throwdown (Red/Pink/Gold). I have Gilded Leafing in my stash for awhile and for some reason, I just couldn’t get it to work for me by using Heat Embossing so I decided to try just using the good old Sticky Stripes with it and as you can see, it works really well. All the Gold flakes got glue on the stripe very tightly and I just love how it turned out. The DSP is from Country Floral DSP and I just picked 2 pieces that has Sweet Sorbet and Petal Pink, the heart is stamped and punch out by the same colors too. Hope you enjoyed this creation!

2/10/2023 - CAS Colours / Hand Stamped Sentiments - You Are My Happy Place

Happy Friday! Today I am sharing a card using Hand Stamped Sentiments (sketch) and CAS Color Challenge. The Country Floral DSP is perfect for this challenge because it has all the colors that was listed and I picked a pattern that contain Balmy Blue/Sweet Sorbet/Mint Macaron. The DSP was cut down to 5 x 3 ¾” and the side strips are cut at 1 ¼” and flip it over to the other side. The heart image is stamped with Sweet Sorbet / Balmy Blue and the Mint Macaron is cut with Stitched Layering Dies. To finish the card, I added a sentiment from Happy Label and the coordinating punch to create the ticket shape on the Whisper White piece. I also added some silver thread for some interests. 2/9/2023 - Cardz 4 Galz #192 More Hearts - Gumball Machine

Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Cardz 4 Galz and this week we are making hearts card! It took awhile for me to think about what route I want to go with this Hearts card and decided to have it shown on the designer paper as well as stamped hearts inside the gumball machine AND some hearts resins. This gumball bundle is from last year’s Mini Occasion Catalog and still one of my favorites to make. Although it does take awhile to create all the part and pieces of the machine but as you can see, it’s just so adorable and cute! 2/8/2023 - Festive Friday #0127 - Just wanted to say.....

Lately I’ve been in the Marking Cards mood and also trying out different layout and fun folds. This card is inspired by Rachael Coon blog post and this is what I came up with to submit at Festive Friday. Instead of Stampin’ Blends, I used Stampin’ Up Markers and used the DSP guide of colors to color in my image. To finish card I added some rhinestone and added a friendship sentiment – I love that we are friends from another stamp set. I hope you enjoyed this card I am sharing today and below are the cutting instructions/pieces.

2/7/2023 - Cardz 4 Guyz #315 Valentine's For Guys - With Love

Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week we are making Valentine’s for a guy! In my opinion, I think it’s truly heart to make a Vday card for guys, because we don’t want to use too much RED/PINK for their cards but then that’s the main colors for LOVE, right?! Well, I hope to change your opinion today an this is what I came up with – a cute gnome for guys’ love card! I am using the non-traditional colors for this but you can still see some elements of it. First is the sentiment – With Love, and then it’s the heart that I put on top of the gnome’s hat! I used the Beautiful Tree dies for the beard, and stitched flowers for his shoes and Tailored Tag Punch for this hat! To make a panel, you made a cut at 2 3/4" mark and then the fold of the card to make it a dutch door card. The card base is 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". White is 2 1/2" x 4 and DSP is 2 1/2" x 4

2/6/2023 - Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #511 - Happy Birthday

Welcome back to another weekly challenge here at Atlantic Hearts Sketch and this week we have a wonderful sketch that I switched it over to a horizontal layout! I cut down the DSP at 4 x 5 ½” and at the short end cut at 2” and flip to showcase the other side of DSP. Then instead of a stripe I used a ribbon. As I mentioned before, I just love Stampin’ Up’s DSP so I picked the colors inside the paper to choose what colors to use for my sentiment. 2/3/2023 - Double D/Global Design Project/CASE-ing Tuesday - Just Wanted to Say....

Happy Friday! Can you believe we are heading into February already?! Today’s card is using CASE-ing Tuesday on FB and also Global Design Project (Theme: Love – but can’t submit) and Double D (Heart Challenge).  The two pieces of DSP in the middle is measured 2 ¼” x 4 ½” and 2 ½” x 4 and I stamped the heart/flower image and punch out with the coordinating punch. To finish the card I added a strip of DSP from the same suite and also added some sequins. The card turn out so cute and I love it. Remember – our catalog is a great place to CASE your card!

2/1/2023 - The Male Room #171 Nature - Let's Celebrate You

Hi Everyone! Welcome back to another monthly challenge here at The Male Room and this month we are making Nature card. I have a wonderful DSP that just have trees/nature as a background so I decided to start with that. Then I added a tree shiloutte from the dies and added some blue birds, sentiments and a ribbon to add some interests. This card is so quick and easy to put together and it will be a great one to duplicate so you have some on hands.
