11/15/24 - My Time To Craft #547 - Thank You card with Spotlight on Nature

Happy Friday! By the time you are reading this post, I am already on the other side of the ocean and enjoying my vacation! Today’s at My Time to Craft we are making *Thank You* card and so I created a book binding card for you! The scoring is at 4 ¼” and again at 5 ½” and that’s how you get the fold. I decided go with the big floral print of DSP to really showcase the paper and just added a quick sentiment . 11/12/2024 - Cardz 4 Guyz #360 Color Combo - Lost Lagoon/Pecan Pie/Early Espresso and Daffadel Delight

Hi everyone – today at Cardz 4 Guyz we are making cards using our favorite color combo. I normally don’t have a go to color combo that I used but what I do the most is look at the Stampin’ Up DSP package and see what colors are listed and go from there. So in this case you can say the colors I picked are – Pecan Pie, Early Espresso, Lost Lagoon and Daffadel Delight. The Coffee Press is with Lost Lagoon, Cups are Daffadel Delight, cardbase is Early Espresso and the dots and coffee itself in the pot is Pecan Pie. This is a bundle from Online Exculsive which is one of my favorite. It’s perfect for all occasions. As we heading into the end of the year, I am making more cards using non-Christmas stamp set to make sure all the stamps are well-used and love! Today’s card is using Everyday Details bundle for this. The images are colored in with Stampin’ Blends and I just randomly picked the colors. 11/6/2024 - The Male Room #192 Kinetic Card - Hearts & Hugs Wobble

Happy Hump Day and welcome back to The Male Room challenge since it’s the first Wendesday of the month! This month we are making fun Kinetic card (movement card) and I created a wobble card using the wobble thingy I purchased from Amazon. I used the DSP that has a Copper Clay heart pattern and then punch out a big circle where the wobble mouse would be. The mouse is colored in with Stampin’ Blends and the sentiment is also used Copper Clay. I wanted to make sure the circle is not blended in so I used the same cardstock to create a border. 11/4/24 - Make My Monday#238 Wild Animals - Sending a Big Hug with Hearts & Hugs

Today at Make My Monday we are making cute wild animal card! I am not sure my definition of *wild* is accurate but here I am, using Hearts & Hugs’ walrus image for this hug card. I used a big stamping block with stampin markers (Balmy Blue) and water spritz to create this background. The walrus are colored in with Stampin’ Blends and the hearts are stamped and colored in with Stampin’ Markers. Hope you enjoyed this card I am sharing today and be sure to join us at the challenge.

10/29/2024 - Cardz 4 Guyz #359 Autumn/Fall Cards - Thanks

Last challenge of the month at Cardz 4 Guyz and we are making Autumn/Fall cards! You can definitely feel it in the Midwest where leaves are turning red and yellow – it’s beautiful. I kept my card pretty simple by picking 2 strips of DSP that coorindate with each others and created a pumpkin with Bee punch. I love drinking hot coffee or any type of hot beverage when the weather gets cold, so today at Atlantic Hearts Sketch, I used the sketch and made it into a catch up coffee card for a friend. I stamped the coffee stain onto the White cardstock and the coffee mug is colored in with my favorite color – Blue! Another challenge at Heart’s Quest and this week we are doing a fun ombre hearts and gray LOVe stamped inside them. I love how the hearts turns out using Boho Blue and Lady in Pink. 10/21/24 - Make My Monday#237 Spooky / Halloween - Happy Halloween with Playful Ghosts,

As we get closer to Halloween, I need to seize the opportunity to make more Halloween cards! Today’s at Make My Monday will be my last chance to do so. I made a really simple one that you can duplicate to pass out with your friends. I used 3 different circle punches with different colors of cardstock and then stamped the images. I placed them down on a white cardstock and finished it with a sentiment that I stamped on yellow – more halloween colors too! 10/18/24 - My Time To Craft #545 - Monochromatic with Coppler Clay Spotlight on Natures

Happy Friday and another bi-weekly challenge here at My Time to Craft and this week we are making monochromatic card! I decided to make a quick batch of these to show you that it is very quick and easy to make these. First I found the DSP with one color background then I used the In-color DSP pattern and added a strip of it to make the panel pop a little. Then I stamped the image in a circle that I punched out. Added some gems and a tone on tone sentiment and voila, you are finished!! I hope you see how easy to make these and you can jump on the bandwagon to make batches of these to send to friends!

10/17/24 - Cardz 4 Galz #236 Color Challenge - Playful Ghosts

Today’s at Cardz 4 Galz, we are making cards that contain Black/Purple/Orange/Green and guess what, I used them ALL!! I am usually not good at color challenge but I found a safe way to do that – creating background using those colors!! I used 2 different circle negatives and sponge the color to use as a background. Then I used Stazon Black to stamp the images and colored it in with Watercolor Pencil and Blender Pen to smooth out the lines. Orange circles has a pumpkin, Purple circle has a cute *witch* on a bloom with coordiating coloring. Then the green circle has a sentiment. Hi crafters! Welcome back to another challenge here at Atlantic Hearts Sketch and today I have a really elegant card for you that I’ve created. I used the retired Timeless Arrangement to arrange a bunch of flowers/leaves around the sentiment by using some soft pastel colors. 10/13/2024 - Heart's Quest #64 - Bee My Valentine's DSP

Hi Hi – Today at Hearts Quest I have a very cute card mainly just Bee My Valentine DSP for the whole card, using 3 out the items from the list. I used Bees, Honey Jar and Honey Comb. This is such a perfect paper for this challenge. I used the duo heart punch to for the image of bee and layer it on another heart punch piece. First Make My Monday challenge here for October and we are making Kid Friendly card. I pulled out Pets & More stamp set because I think it’s so perfect for making furry friend card that are suitable for kids! I stamped the fox image in Wild Wheat and cut him out with scissor and adhered onto Boho Blue circle cardstock. The sentiment is from another online exculsive set as well. 10/4/24 - My Time To Craft #544 Fall/Autumn - Just for You Pumpkin Card

Now a day October has an extra special meaning to me. I love fall in the midwest and now October is also my son’s birthday month! Today’s card is created for the MTTC Fall/Autumn challenge and I use the Build a Bee punch to create a pumpkin! I saw a really clever card using the punch for pumpkin and wanted to CASE it. I sponge the side of the pumpkins to give it a little more dimension. The DSP is from the current Holiday/Winter Mini Catalog and Everyday Details Dies. Love the simplicity of this card. 10/3/24 - Cardz 4 Galz #235 Circles - Yuletide Village

Welcome back to first challenge of the month here at Cardz 4 Galz and today we are doing Circle card. Instead of just cutting circles, what I did is used a circle mask and sponge around the mask with lighter blue and then I went back in with a bigger circle mask with a darker shade of blues to great some depth. Happy October and 1^st challenge of the month at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week we are making cards with wheels. I pulled out an old retired stamp set – This Birthday Piggy for the challenge. There was a cute image with the piggy riding on a scooter and just too adorable not to use. I used the 2023-2025 In-Colors Markers/DSP as a main color scheme for this card. This is a perfect way for me to create a Halloween card and create a background since I don’t have any Halloween related paper to show case. I sponge the White cardstock with Peach Pie  and then stamped the bag images around the frame. The dracula is colored in with Stampin’ Blends and cut out and put on a dimension.
