5/30/19 - FMS390 - Animal Outings

Gorgeous weather here today in the Chicagoland area! Today's card is using Freshly Made Sketch! I always love a good sketch and layout and their sketch is defiantly my go to. It's easy to create even for a vivid crafter like myself. This is always a great way to use up lots of your DSP! The paper is from Twinkle Twinkle which is about to retire soon and the stamp set is from Animal Outing! I color in the kangaroo using the watercolor pencils with blender pens.

5/29/19 - TSOT 409 - A Little Note

Happy Wednesday! Today's card is using Try Stampin' On Tuesday! I wanted to continue to use my DSP so I paired it with a one of the old SAB stamp set. I tried a few times and didn't like the stamp flower and such so I ended up using Watercolor Pencils with Blender Pens for it. We don't have the color pencils for Lovely Lipstick so I used Melon Mambo. No Soft Sea Foam so I used the favorite - Old Olive. I like this quick and simple card and again it showcase the lovely DSP. This is defiantly a go to layout for the future!

5/28/19 - The Paper Player & Global Design Team

Today's card is using two challenges - The Paper Players & Global Design Project. One is theme and one is a sketch so it's perfect to work them together. I make this card into an All Occasion card again - without sentiment, so I can make it into any card I need. The butterflies are from the Botanical Garden from SAB and I fussy cut them out and put it on the going to be soon retire paper. I hope you like this quick card I am sharing today.

5/25/19 - Sketch Saturday - Oh So Eclectic

Hi everyone - I found some time today to make a quick card for Sketch Saturday. I continue to use up my soon to be retire DSP and stamp sets. The card is pretty straight forward and pretty true to the sketch. I colored in the flower image using the markers and added a twine to it. I left the sentiment blank (which is what I usually like to do) so I can use it for whatever occasion I need. I hope you like this quick card I am sharing today.

5/24/19 - TGIF Challenge - Butterfly

Happy Friday! Today's card is using TGIF Challenge for Gingham card! I don't have a lot of DSP with that design but do have some left over from Botancial Butterfly (SAB) so it's perfect for this challgne. I layered it with Rose Red and the card base is Fresh Fig. The layout is pretty simple and one of those Go To layout that everyone used. The butterfly is also from the DSP and I fussy cut it out. I hope you like this quick and simple card today and use this layout when you need a quick card

5/23/19 - Paper Craft Crew & The Paper Players

Today's card is using 2 different challenges - Paper Craft Crew & The Paper Players, one is theme and one is sketch so it's easier for my simple mind to do! I used Kindness Matter for the Plants and kept the card true to the sketch and as simple as possible. Meanwhile, I tried to use up more of the DSP. The leafs of the plants are just 2nd generation stamp off with Granny Apple Green for the lighter colors. I hope you enjoy the card today and be sure to check out everyone's creation.

5/22/19 - FMS389 - A Little Note

Happy Hump Day - it's a gorgeous day here in the Chicago area! Today's card is using Freshly Made Challenge. I really like DT - Amy's card so decided to CASE it a little to make this card. I stayed pretty true to the sketch but totally forgot about a place for sentiment but it works out great underneath the DSP. I used mostly the new items from the 2019-2020 SU catalog, which it will debut on 6/4/19! I fussy cut out one of the paper that has lots of hummingbird and I used it on this card. If you are my ordering customers, you would have gotten a catalog by now, if not, let me know and I will get one out to you!! Hope you like the card I am sharing today.

5/21/19 - CASE-ing Tuesday #200 - Let's Celebrate You

Today at CASE-ing Tuesday, we are making cards using pg 18 in the Occasion Catalog. I love how they gave us a measurement for this and I can easily tweak it to whatever I like. I decided to use the Animal Expedition DSP and lots of them! That's one thing great about Stampin' Up's paper, they always coordinated with each others and you know all the paper in the packs will match for your project. I added a cute sentiment and it can easily be a Birthday card or Graduation Card. I hope you like this cute card I made today!
