3/31/2020 - TSTO#450 - Your Friendship

Today's card is a quick and easy one using Try Stampin' On Tuesday Sketch. Instead of a vertical card, I switched the orientation to horizontal and made it into a friendship card. I used the retired Foil Sheet (Grapefruit Grove) with the Oval Stitched Dies and the 1 3/8" Circle punch for the sentiment. The card is very elegant I think and finished with a vellum. Hope you enjoy this card.

3/30/2020 - Just Us Girls & Atlantic Hearts Sketch - You've been on my mind

Happy Monday - can't believe end of the month is almost here. The last day for SAB will be tomorrow so if you have any more purchases, before to get them in and use the hostess code! Today's card is using Atlantic Hearts Sketch and *Just Us Girls* Photo Challenge. I used the painter's tape to create a block of rectangle for me to sponge and stamp in. The daisy is stamped in Pineapple Crush and then Poppyseed Parade to ink up the middle section. The sentiment is die cut out using the Stitched Rectangle dies, my new favorite! Enjoy this card and a peaceful day!

3/30/2020 - Make My Monday #119 - It's a Beautiful Day

Welcome to my blog and Make My Monday Challenge. I am very honored to be selected and being part of the team on this challenge site. Today's challenge is #119 - Make your own background. I got my card inspiration from Mypinkstamper with Robin and this is what I came up with. The rainbow background is created using Stampin' Up Watercolor Pencils along with the Watercolor Paper. I scribble the colors and use the Aqua Painter to blend it. Finished it off with some Basic Black layering as well as the DSP from Bird Ballard. 3/29/2020 - Sketch Saturday & The Paper Players - Awesome at any age

Happy Sunday! Today's card is using 2 challenges - The Paper Players & Sketch Saturday! For the Tic Tac Toe - I am using Patterned Paper, Birthday and Flowers. The flower image on the rain boots is using Masking Technique. I stamped the image on a post-it note and then cut it out to cover the boots and stamped the flower image so it looks like it's behind the boots. The coloring is done with Stampin' Markers. Although this card have layers, I kept it kind of clean and simple and the colors that I used are all from the designer paper. Thank you for stopping by!

3/28/2020 - Paper Craft Crew Challenges - Club House

Today's card is using Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge. It might be a little hard to see but I created my own Shimmer Paint spray with alcohol and mixed it together and spray it onto the Whisper White embossed card stock. The main focal point is the golf ball and the tee which I used the dies to cut it out. The Night of Navy golf image is from the DSP and the Rhinestone is from the Holiday Catalog! All the supplies are listed below  and I must say, the card was pretty easy to put together. Enjoy your weekend.

3/27/2020 - CAS(E) this sketch, Festive Friday & Just Add Ink - Merci

Happy Friday - another week went by with Shelter in Place, we will have to get out and do some grocery shopping tomorrow. Today's card is using 3 challenges - CAS(E) this Sketch, Festive Friday and Just Add Ink. For Festive Friday, I used Glimmer Paper, Rhinestone & Rose Gold (on the DSP) and for Just Add Ink E for Eiffel Tower on the DSP as well. The sketch is very funky and unique so it took me awhile to measure out the paper and what pattern paper and what side I want to use. I wanted to use Merci as a sentiment but it was a little hard to see so I added 2 layers of the die cut in Basic Black so you can see it better with a shadow underneath it. Hope you enjoy this card.

3/26/2020 - Hand Stamped Sentiments - We're the Best of Friends

Another gloomy day here in Chicago area. Today's card is using Hand Stamped Sentiments. During this Shelter in Place in IL, I've been making lots of cards and I plan to donate them since sometimes I make 2 - 3 cards a day! The 2 circles I made are a bit too big (oops) but you get the point and can see the sketch in my card, right?! One thing I did kind of cool is that I stamped the swirly circle in Soft Suede and then I mask off the circle and stamp the bird image inside (patting myself on the back, pretty proud of this, haha). The birdies are colors with Stampin' Blends. I hope you enjoy this card as much as I did and be healthy.

3/25/2020 - Freshly Made Sketches & Addicted to Stamps & More - Hello

Happy Wednesday - the sun is out and it's in the 50's today! Today's card is using Addicted to Stamps & Freshly Made Sketches. I knew I wanted to use Accent Blooms as my main focus and color in the image and then I though to myself, why not use it with clear embossing powder and use markers with it. It turns out so gorgeous because of the embossing powder, when you colors over it, it's showing up as white for a unique texture. I can't wait to do more of this and use some  bolder images I have in my stash. Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy!

Happy Tuesday - Another week of staying in. Today's card is using 2 challenges - Retro Rubber Challenge (Tic Tac Toe) & CAS Colours & Sketch. I really like DT - Julie's card so decided to kind of CASE her layout for my inspiration. 03/24/2020 - Make My Monday - You're growing up !

Happy Tuesday - I am so honored to be a part of Design Team with Cardz 4 Guys, we create cards exclusive for the men/boys in our life and the challenge is every 2 weeks so please come visit me there and check out the rest of the DT's work! Today's challenge is using the stencil for background and this is what I came up with. I used the star mask from Stampin' Up with Mango Melody and the sponge to create a starry background. The giraffe is from a DSP and just die cut out, easy right? I added some baker's twine and a fun sentiment and voila - a cute birthday card for the boy in mind! 3/23/2020 - The Paper Players - Mosaic Mood

Happy Monday!! Today is Shelter in Place #3  but we've been coped up a week ago since all the school/gym/classes were all cancelled. Today's card is using The Paper Players challenge. I did minimal stamping only on the leaves. The lighter color of Garden Green is using the stamp-off technique. The beautiful rose image is from the DSP itself and I just fussy cut it out. It might be hard to see but the Garden Green pieces are embossed with the folder. I hope you enjoy this card I am sharing today!

3/21/2020 - CAS(E) this Sketch - For You

Happy Saturday - today at 5pm CST the governor of IL is implementing Shelter In Place order, let's hope this will really help stop the virus. Today's card is using CAS(E) this Sketch. It took me awhile to come up with what I can do with the sketch and decided to go with the SU 2018-2020 in-colors (rainbow!) with Swirly Frames stamp set and I really like how it turned out. The golf bag image is from the DSP and I just fuzzy cut it with the scissor and added a very simple sentiment. Stay safe and healthy everyone!

3/20/2020 - Freshly Made Sketches - Happy Birthday

TGIF - I am so glad this week is over and I don't have to deal with work for 2 days! Today's card is using Freshly Made Sketches! It's such a simple card and you can interpreted it many ways. I decided to go with the Clubhouse suite for this card. I colored in the golf club that I die cut out with Stampin' Blends. And the golf card image in the middle is from a DSP and die cut out with the shape. I really like who this card turned out and can't decide who I should give this card to! Enjoy your weekend everyone!
