8/31/23 - Sunday Stamps #316 - Pick of the Patch Thanks So Much

Last card of August is using sketch challenge from Sunday Stamps! I recently received my orders from the 2023 Holiday/Mini Catalog so this is the perfect time to use the new bundle – pick of the patch! This bundle is perfect for fall as well as Halloween if you want to stamp or hand-drawn faces onto the pumpkin. I picked 3 different colors that I think it’s perfect for fall and stamped the pumpkins with it. One is punch out the rest is just on the White cardstock. I didn’t have any fall paper so I paired it with Cheerful Daisy DSP. Hope you enjoyed this card I am sharing today!

8/28/2023 - Make My Monday #208 Hobbies - It's a science You Matter

Happy Monday, welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Make My Monday and this week I am the hostess for the challenge and we are making Hobbies card! I recently got this science theme stamp set and I couldn’t wait to use it and thought this is a perfect opportunity to do so! Some people do love science as a hobby, right?! I stamped the microscope image and colored it with Stampin’ Blends and cells in Misty Moonlight. The DSP is actually from Cheerful Daisy, I thought the blend of colors fits pretty well here. 8/25/23 - My Time To Craft #515 Dies - Timeless Arrangement with Cheerful Daisy

Happy Friday and welcome back to our bi-weekly challenge here at My Time to Craft Challenge and this week we are using dies to make our card! I finally have a chance to use this big piece of DSP with flower image on a card, how easy is that. All I did is use my die to cut out the rectangle for sentiment and the leaves on the back. 8/24/2023 - Cardz 4 Galz #206 Animals/Insects - Songbird, A little bird told me....

Hi everyone – welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Cardz 4 Galz and this week we are making Animals/Insects card. I love the card layout/sketch from Kitchen Stamper so this layout is from one of her older video. All the pieces are cut out with scissor except the DSP and the cloud. 8/23/2023 - Christmas Craft Creation August 2023 CAS - Reindeer

Welcome back to another monthly challenge here at Christmas Craft Creation and this month is Clean & Simple card! I am going back to the basic with my first few simple layout that I would always do for my cards. It’s just a piece of Designer Series Paper and a stamp image piece with a layering piece. This type of card should be quick and easy to reproduce and if you want, you can always add some bling jazz it up a little. 8/22/2023 - Cardz 4 Guyz #329 Going to the beach - Circle Saying Hello

Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here with us at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week we are making Beach card! If you’ve been reading my blog, you know what I don’t have a beach theme related stamp set so I need to be a little bit creative. I used Circle Saying stamp set and this time I used 2 different images combined for my creation. The image of starfishes are at the background and the sunshine/wave image is punch out with a circle punch. The coloring is done with Stampin’ Markers. Happy Monday, welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here with us at Atlantic Hearts Sketch and this week I have a fun threading basket for you! This is such a fun bundle called Crafting with You, included lots of images that are related to hand-made images. Today I used a basket with thread to create a fun basket. Each of the square is 1 x 1 and then I work my way out to create each layering. I used up my scraps from Inked Botanic Garden DSP. 8/19/2023 - Less is More #490 Orange - Art Gallery I am thinking of you

Happy Saturday! Today’s card at Less Is More is color challenge – Orange. Sadly current Stampin’ Up only have 1 orange color – Pumpkin Pie, so I have to be a little creative. I did the stamp off or 2^nd generation stamping) to get a lighter color shade of orange for this flower. I also found an retired orange cardstock (I think it’s Grapefruit) that’s perfect as a base. I hope you will be able to  create something orange from your stash and join us at the challenge.

Happy Thursday! Today’s fun sketch is using Try Stampin’ On Tuesday Sketch. I always love a fun sketch that can show off the Designer Series Paper. I just picked different pattern/strips from my stash and cut it at different length with the punch and the sentiment is stamped on a fun die with the stitching. This stamp set is really great to layer on top of each others with different colors. Hope you enjoy this creation!

8/15/2023 - Sparkles Challenge #167 Tropical / Beach Theme - Circle Saying

Every 15^th of the month, I will be joining the rest of wonderful design team members to create a monthly project for Sparkle Buddies and this month we are creating Tropical/Beach card and this is what I came up with. If you follow me, you’ve already know that I do not own any beach/tropical related stamp set so I  have to be creative for this challenge so I used this wave/sun image from Circle Saying for it. The image is colored with Watercolor Pencil and Blender Pen to smooth out the line and I have some left over pieces I thought it would make it a background. I finally received my Fiesta Taco stamp set so this is the perfect opportunity to use it. I stamped 3 taco but cut out one and put it on the dimension. They are all colored with Stampin’ Blends and added a very fun pun sentiment. I also paired this card with a new dies that I just got, can you see the wonderful stiches?! I used the negative of my dies from Split Card Texture Dies and sponge with Balmy Blue around the 4 corners of my main focal point to create a frame like image. The sunflower is sponge with Crushed Curry in the middle with vellum layering. I thought it was a bit fun to do that. 8/10/2023 - Cardz 4 Galz #205 Summer Days - Share a Milkshake bundle

Hi crafters – welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Cardz 4 Galz and this week we are making summer day card! When I think of summer, I always think of cold treats like Ice-Cream, which is also my son’s favorite in the summer. I used the Share a Milkshake bundle from Stampin’ Up to create this yummy ice cream with Pineapple and Lavender flavor! I sponged edges of the cone to give some dimension and the sentiment is perfect because it matched the cherry I put on the ice-cream. I also used Wink a Stella on the cherry to give some sparkles. 8/9/2023 - CASEing Tuesday #420 - Taco Fiesta

It’s been awhile but finally I used CASEing Tuesday to create a card using my newly arrived stamp set – Fiesta Taco, what a fun set! I’ve been eyeing this for awhile but never purchased it from the spring mini catty and finally decided to get it when closing a hostess order. I used the Ink Botanic Garden DSP for this and all the fun elements are color in with Stampin’ Markers. One thing I forgot to do is to stamp the Basic Gray background with some nachos! Oh well, hope you enjoyed this card.

8/8/2023 - Cardz 4 Guyz #328 Music Theme - Just a Note with Rugged Icon

Happy Taiwanese Father’s Day (8/8)! Today at Cardz 4 Guyz it’s my turn to host a fun challenge and we are making Music Theme card. During a big sales earlier this year, I purchased the Rugged Icons with so many awesome dies and the guitar is perfect for the challenge. I used the Split Card Texture dies to cut out a negative so I can sponge it with Old Olive/Soft Seafoam for the background and then adhere the die cut of guitar image on top of it. I found a star elements and Just a Note sentiment (get it, note!) which is perfect for this! I hope you enjoyed the card I am sharing today and be sure to join us at the challenge!

8/5/2023 - Less is More #489 One Layer (Photo Inspiration) - Art Gallery I am thinking of you

Happy Saturday! Today’s card is with my challenge team at Less Is More and this week we are making One Layer Card (with photo inspiration). Instead of creating the sunflower I see in the picture, I actually took the color in the background and created into my own using the color orange palette. First taped the top and bottom of the cardstock so I can use the sponge with inkpads to ink up the middle section. Then I picked the image from Art Gallery with Memento Black. 8/2/2023 - The Male Room #177 Dots and/or Stripes

Hi fellow crafters – welcome back to another monthly challenge here at The Male Room and this month we are making Dots/Stripe card. I love this retired He’s the Man DSP from Stampin Up so I am using the the checker side (although it’s so hard to see because of the Early Espresso). I barely did any stamping, except for the sentiment and the 2 beer glasses are just die cut. Instead of putting the yellow cardstock behind the beer glass, I intentionally put it in the front.
