2/25/2020 - The Paper Players - Parisian

Today's card is using The Paper Players Sketch Challenge. I enjoyed all the DT creation and couldn't wait to give it a try myself. The strips of DSP is measured 4 x 1 3/4" and of course you can use different DSP for this card. I decided to use the Parisian Suites for this quick and easy card. For some reason I am just not getting a good stamp image of the Eiffel Tower so I just cut out the shadow of it. I hope you like this quick and easy card today!

2/24/2020 - CASE-ing Tuesday - Thank You Big Time

Happy Monday - Today's card is using CASE-ing Tuesday on Facebook. I combined two different suite together, the paper is from Birthday Bonanza Suite and the stamp set, although it's also related to creature but not from the same suite - it's called Animal Friends. I used the colors in the DSP and color in the giraffe and also for the color scheme. It's blended with the SU Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pen. I am hoping this card will make it out to one of my customer in the near future. Hope you like this card I am sharing today.

02/23/2020 - As You See It Challenge - Enjoy The Little Things

Today's card is using As You See It Challenge - Sketch! I decided to pull out an annual stamp set that I haven't inked up in awhile to create (or stamp in the dome like circle die cut). Everything I used it actually from the current annual catalog (Surprise!) The card I think is true to the sketch with minimal variation. This would be a great card to send to a friend! 2/21/2020 - CAS(E) this Sketch - No Matter The Weather

Happy Friday - Today I created a quick card using CAS(E) this Sketch. I used the template of hearts for this but instead of the usual pink/red colors, I decided to go with purple. I guess then from there my color theme of the card is all purple. The coloring is done using Stampin' Blends, which I am slowing getting use to and good at. I really like the sentiment from this stamp set and picked the one that is for friendship. Hope you enjoy this quick card today.

2/18/2020 - CAS(E) this Sketch - It's Your Day

Today's card is using CAS(E) this Sketch! I saw lots of wonderful submission for this sketch and couldn't wait to give this a try. I used up some of mine retired DSP (Twinkle Twinkle) and paired it up with the current stamp set - Under my Umbrella. I did a really quick and easy fun technique called Paper Piecing, this is where you stamped the image onto a paper that already has a design with the stamp set and I think it really gives a fun factor for the rain boots and the umbrella. 2/16/2020 - TGIF Challenges & The Paper Players - Hogs & Kisses

Happy Sunday - it's been a great weekend here, especially today, the sun is out, although it is still in the 30s but sun makes me feel like I am still in the Bay Area. Today's card is using 2 challenges - TGIF Challenges & The Paper Players. For PP - it's clean and simple and also woodland creature. I kept thinking that Pigs are consider woodland creature but then I looked at their pictures and thought to myself, oops, maybe not?! For TGIF - instead of the photo, I stamped the piggie image. Lately I found I still have some glimmer paper and so been trying to use it for February. The coloring is using the Watercolor Pencils with Aqua Painter. Hope you like this cute card I am sharing today.

2/14/2020 - Just Add Ink #492 - You Made My Day

Happy Love Day! Today's card is using the Just Add Ink sketch. I received a beautiful flowers from my son and husband today so I wanted to make a card for him and this is a perfect sketch for it! I die cut out the Effiel Tower using the retired shimmer paper from last SAB and paired it up with the Parisian Blossoms DSP for this You Made My Day card. Maybe a little hard to see but I also sponged up the edges of Whisper White. Have a wonderful day everyone!

2/13/2020 - Hand Stamped Sentiments - Hello

Today's card is using Hand Stamped Sentiments! I really enjoyed making this card and I like the layout because it is definitely outside of the box design. Decided to use some current annual catalog items and the coordinating suite for this card. The arrow on the bottom is used with the Tailored Tag Punch, love it! The coloring is done using Stampin' Blends and I truly need to practice more on this for sure! Hope you like this card I am sharing today!

2/12/2020 - Atlantic Hearts Sketch & The Card Concept - It's Your Day

Today's card is using Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge & The Card Concept (Photo Inspiration). I love the sketch and I think there are just so many possibilities for it. I decided to use more of my Valentine's related DSP for a birthday card. The heart shape main focus image is actually punched out from the same DSP and I just added the sentiment from Under my Umbrella. I really had a great time creating this card.

2/11/2020 - Try Stampin' on Tuesday - Smile

Today's card is using Try Stampin' on Tuesday! I twisted a little bit and make it my own layout. Instead of the horizontal strip for sentiment, I just stamped Smile on the Whisper White card stock. I used the Valentine's theme paper but make the card into a friendship card or could be for any occasion. For the daisy, i stamped it once with Flirty Flaming and the punch out the daisy again with Foil Paper. I hope you like this quick card I am sharing today!

2/10/2020 - Global Design Project / CASE-ing Tuesday - Let's Celebrate You

Happy Monday - Today's card is using CASE-ing Tuesday as well as Theme at Global Design Project (let it grow). I immediately wanted to use this Beautiful Bunch stamp set that I haven't used in awhile because it's always very time consuming to stamp the flowers first and cut it out with Big Shot, yet, the result is always stunning! I took a DSP that's from Birthday Bonanza and use it as a layering piece and underneath I put Whisper White to stamp on. I used most of the colors in the suite except Granny Apple Green for the stem. I am glad to be able to pull out my Mango Melody card base as well. This might be the first time I've used this! I hope you like this creation!

2/9/2020 - CAS(E) this Sketch - Under My Umbrella

Happy Sunday - can't believe that weekend is almost over! Todays card is using CAS(e) This Sketch. I really like DT - Donna's card where she made it horizontal so I've decided to do that as well. I accidentally picked the cardstock that's too dark to stamp the sentiment so I just left it out. The color combo I used are mostly from the 2018-2020 in-colors. The umbrella is punch out but the flower is being fuzzy cut using the scissor. I really like how this turned out. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do too!

2/8/2020 - Fusion Valentine's - It's Sure To be A Fun Day

Today's card is using Fusion Challenge - both Sketch & Photo Inspiration. After I made the card I realized that I put the greeting on the wrong side of the square, oops!! Since the heart is in the photo, I decided to use the Heart Doily as the center of the image, but then it looks a bit empty so I punched out a little heart in red (for the contrast) and used our Shimmer Crystal Effects. Might be a little hard to see but the Real Red piece in the middle have sentiments all over it. I hope you like this quick card I am sharing today!

2/7/2020 - Freshly Made Sketches & Just Add Ink - Friends Make The Good Times Better

Happy Friday - Today's card is using 2 challenges - Just Add Ink (inspiration) & Freshly Made Sketch. When I saw the inspiration from the photo, I knew right away I have to use Waterfront stamp set because of the cut houses. The houses are stamped in 2 pinkish colors and the rest came together using everything in the stamp set. The square is using the stitched dies which I think added some fun interest.
