3/27/2023 - Make My Monday #195 - To a Dear Friend

Welcome back to another week of challenge here at Make My Monday and this week we are doing P – for and it was my week to pick this fun challenge. Since my first name is Pamela, I thought, why not let’s pick a challenge with my first initial – P and mine is Paper (or Designer Series Paper). As you know, Stampin’ Up is well-known for their coordinating colors on their DSP so I couldn’t resist to show case them! I saw this fun card at Sunny Day Stamping and decided to try this Criss-Cross card! I paired it with Plentiful Plants and if you look closely, I colored in the edges of the leaves with darker color of green! I hope this will inspire you to joins us at the challenge this week!

DSP – 3 ¾” x 5”
Criss-Cross – 3 ¾” x 2 ¼” cut across (you can adjust the height)

3/23/2023 - Cardz 4 Galz #195 Spring Flower - Bottled Happiness

Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Cardz 4 Galz and this week we are making Spring Flower card! This year the weather is definitely a bit weird, although we didn’t get much snow here in the Midwest, I still look forward to the warmer weather. I used the stamp set from the current Stampin’ Up annual catalog for this creation. I love how you can easily punch out the bottle and adhered the bottle dome with it. I colored in the white cardstock with Pool Party Stampin’ Blends to put behind the bottle and added a thread at the neck. 3/22/2023 - Christmas Craft Creation March 2023 One Layer - Season's Greeting

Hi Everyone – welcome back to another monthly challenge here at Christmas Craft Creation – March 2023 reminder post and this month’s theme is One Layer card. This will be a great Christmas to create if you are short on time and need to have a batch ready to send! I used the Beauty of Friendship stamp set – the image of the tree is already shaded with layers so one stamp and you can create the cool 2 tone effects. To finish you just add a greeting and voila, a quick and easy card is finish! It may be hard to see but I also added some glitter on the tree with Versamark. 3/21/2023 - Cardz 4 Guyz #318 - Coming Home

Welcome back to another week here at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week’s theme is Coloring as I am the host to come up with a theme. I don’t have a lot of stamp set that I can color for masculine card but I sure found an oldie – Coming Home! This is perfect for Christmas card as well as Welcome Home, or purchasing a new home card. The coloring medium I choose is Stampin’ Blends so it can create some shading for the windows. I also used the coordinating dies to cut out the house and the trees then I used the sponge with Pool Party to create some shading behind the house.  I hope this will inspire you to join us at the challenge! 3/19/2023 - Sending Smile, Just a Note

Happy Friday – Today I am also sharing a card I make for no reason after I saw a really cute sample from Pinterest but sadly I don’t remember who to give this credit to. You take a piece of 4 x 3 DSP and cut it down at 1” pieces (x 2) and then the rest, Then you adhered it onto a Whisper White Piece (5 x 3.25) or trim down to fit so you can stamp a sentiment of your liking. This fun technique is best if you use a piece of DSP that has scene so it looks the best. Hope you enjoyed this quick card I am sharing today.

3/18/2023 - Less is More #479 One Layer - Some Friendship

Hi everyone! I am excited to be on Less is More – A clean and simple card challenge Design Team member! Every other week we will have fun challenges for you that I hope you will join me there. This is our first challenge of 2023 and it’s One Layer Card with Anything Goes, so I’ve created a simple friendship card for you. I used the cut out Rectangle Dies as a mask and sponge the space with Pale Papaya and then stamped the floral image along with sentiment in Evening Evergreen. This is such a fun and simple technique for you to try and you can also color in the flora image if you want. 3/16/2023 - Share a Milkshake Card

Today I want to make a card, just to make one, so didn’t use any challenges for this. I decided instead of doing a milkshake, let’s do an ice-cream in a mug? I love how there’s a 2 step stamping to enhance the *texture* of the card. I also added some hearts, a topping of chocolate and used a Wink a Stella to make it sparkle. Thanks for stopping by!

3/15/2023 - Hand Stamped Sentiments #409 - Celebrate!

Happy Hump Day! Today’s card is using Hand Stamped Sentiments – sketch! I continue to use the Share a Milkshake bundle for this creation. I used the retired Oval framelits and stamped the mug onto Whisper White and the ice-cream is cut out from cardstock! The cherry and spoon is also die cut out from the paper. 3/14/2023 - Sunday Stamps / Global Design Project - Hello

As you can see – I am having fun creating with my new Share a Milkshake bundle! I used Global Design Project (color) Challenge for this card along with Sunday Stamp Sketch. I die cut the ice-cream cone and ice cream using cardstock and also cherry but colored it in with Stampin Markers. I used the criss cross pattern die as a template to blend in Crumb Cake as background on Vanilla and Crumb Cake pieces. I really like how this turned out. This is defiantly a perfect card for guy with all the colors.

3/14/2023 - TGIF Challenge #411 - Share a Milkshake

Yeah! My last order during SAB finally arrived and I couldn’t wait to create a card using TGIF Challenge (sketch)! I paired it with Country Bouquet DSP and used the color listed to create this fun ice-cream cone card! I die cut out the cherry and just color it in with Stampin’ Blend and I love how on the ice cream there is a slit that you can insert a spoon or a straw! 3/13/2023 - Make My Monday #196 Spring Colors - Hello Friend

Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Make My Monday and this week we are making Spring Color card! To me, spring is flowers so any colors that we can see on the flower will work for this challenge. I decided to go with the hostess paper – Flowers & More DSP (hostess) for the card. I cut down the strips to 1” x 3 ½” and the Whisper White piece is 4 x 5 ¼” so in a way, the leght of the stripes truly depends on what much white you want to have. I used the dies to create a 2 layers flower and a leafs and stamped the Hello Friend sentiment for an all occasion card. 3/9/2023 - Cardz 4 Galz #194 Vellum - Sending Happy Thoughts,

Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Cardz 4 Galz and this week we are adding Vellum to our card! I tried a few time with vellum but sadly all the other ones failed so I am sticking with this – just adding vellum on top of my stamp floral image. I also added a sentiment with Stazon Black and a rhinestone . The flower image is color in with Stampin’ Markers. 3/7/2023 - Cardz 4 Guyz #317 Make Us Smile - Oh Ale Yes!

Welcome back to another challenge here at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week we are making *Make Us Smile* card for the gentleman. I found a really witty and funny saying from Brewed for You and I think for any guys who enjoyed a beer or two would like this sentiment. I cut down the cardbase at 1” and then put a Whisper White cardstock inside with a strip of DSP. The beer is cut out with the die and vellum and I added some fun interests with the twine and the small leaf. Happy Sunday – today’s card is using As You See It Challenge / Sunday Stamps. I used all the pink shades that I can find in my Stampin’ Up stash and came up with these colors. A little strange to see the leafs stamped in pink but it actually turned out pretty good. I also added the Rose Metallic Thread and tugged it behind my sentiment. Happy Friday! Today’s card is combined 2 challenges – Just Add Ink (sketch) and Color Throwndown. I really enjoyed the 2 steps/tone image from this stamp set to create the tree, and I stamped off the Mango Melody to create a light shade of yellow and layered Calypso Coral on top of it and it turned out so awesome! Happy Thursday! Today’s card is using Tuesday Morning Sketch and Paper Craft Crew Challenge Theme (Hello Spring). I used one of my favorite hostess paper – Flower & More DSP and I used the same piece cut down to 4 x 5 ¼” and cut it almost in half to show both side of the design. Instead of using flowers, I used planets to represent that spring is coming by using the colors on the paper. The pot is stamped on Craft Paper with Crumb Cake. 3/1/2023 - Birthstone Challenge #2 March/April - Birthday Wishes

Welcome back to the March/April Birthstone challenge and the colors for this month is Aquamarine/Diamond! I found the closest colors from Stampin’ Up to be Coastal Cabana (blue with some greenish colors) and then I used the Glimmer Paper to be the colors of Diamond. I used Deckled Dies to cut a piece of rectangle shape for my flower to sit on and the flowers are die cut out using the coordinating dies. Hi everyone – welcome back to another monthly challenge here at The Male Room and this month we have a sketch for you! It took me awhile to see what route I wanted to create this card and I decided to stay true to the sketch by using 1” x 1” designer series paper to create a background just like the sketch. I also added a beer mug that I created using some fun dies from Stampin’ Up. I finished the card with a really fun sentiments that I think every guys who drink beer would like.
