9/1/25 - Atlantic Hearts Sketch #645 - Florals in Blooms DSP with Notes & Totes

Today’s card is using Atlantic Hearts Sketch and a color that I don’t used much – Blueberry Brushel! We just came back from Maine where there are lots and lots of Blueberries so this is where my inspiration came from as well. Recently I purchased some 2 tone cardstock so it’s a great way to use them when you don’t need to use cardstock. I picked a piece of bold flower image as the pattern for the bag and cut down the side. Did you see the resemblance of the sketch? Hope you can join us at the challenge.

8/18/25 - Atlantic Hearts Sketch #643 - Thankful Garden

Welcome back to our challenge at Atlantic Hearts Sketch #643. I used the Mask to create a background, similar to the sketch and then put the focal image on top of it, so it doesn’t look too lonley, haha. The background is sponged with Blending Brushes and I picked 3 mask that looks good together and used different shades of blue for it. The floral image is colored in with Stampin’ Blends. Welcome to August and first challenge of the month at Atlantic Hearts Sketch and today I have a coffee card to share with you using the sketch. I stamped the coffee stain image with 2 different shades of brown and created a coff pot to put on the right side. I also added a espresso cup and finish with swirly dots. 7/21/25 - Atlantic Hearts Sketch #639 - Joy of Jar with Jar Punch

Today at Atlantic Hearts Sketch, I made a Dutch Door fun fold card that resemble the sketch that we have today! I cut the cardstock at 2 ¾” and then another cut to the bind of the card and use the cut out piece and adhered it in front of the card. Do you wanna know why my sentiment is on the left-hand side?! It’s because I smear the snowflakes so I have to hide it with my sentiment. (haha) The stamp set is from the new Joy of Jar, which coordinates with the Jar Punch! I used both Petunia Pup and Fresh Fresia. I also embossed the White cardstock with a deep emobossing folder to give the background a little more dimension. I used the Pretty Floral Bundle for this card and created a bouquet of flowers as the main focal point. I used both stamp sets with dies as well as just dies images. 5/26/25 - Atlantic Hearts Sketch #631 - Pretty Florals with Gate Fold Top Flap card

This week at Atlantic Hearts Sketch I have a fun fold card that resembles the card sketch we have! I found a video by Julie D (around 35 min mark and onward) called a Gate Fold with Top Flap card that works perfectly for our sketch. I decorated the front piece with the beautiful DSP and the dies from Pretty Floral Dies using the colors that I used on the card. Cardbase – 11” x 4 ¼” and score at 1” and 2 ¾” on each side (or 8 ¼” and 10”)

5/12/25 - Atlantic Hearts Sketch #629 - Pretty Florals Bundle

Hi Atlantic Hearts Sketch fan, welcome back to another challenge here with us and today, I created a card using the new Pretty Floral Bundle from the new 2025-2026 Stampin’ Up catalog.  I used some of the new in-colors (Peach Pie and Lady in Pink) to create the flowers along with the coordinating DSP. 4/28/25 - Atlantic Hearts Sketch #627 - Thankful Garden, You Make a Difference

Happy Monday at Atlantic Hearts Sketch and today I created a special card for a dear friend who helped us organized a Secret Sister group. Instead of using the stamp set – Thankful Garden outline flower, instead, I just used the mask to create the floral image. I used 3 different shades of Yellow and 2 different shades of Green. To finish, I used a mask of the outline image and sponge it with Boho Blue, althugh the alignement was a little off. Thanks for stopping by and be sure to join us at the challenge.

4/14/25 - Atlantic Hearts Sketch #625 - Year of Flowers for Birthday.

Happy Monday at Atlantic Hearts Sketch and today I made a birthday card for my dear co-worker using the #625 Challenge. I shrink the size of the middle panel and used Year of Flowers for it. I saw a really cool trick that Sara D. (CEO at SU) used to create this multi-color panel with just white/black image of the flower and wanted to give it a try. I paired it Wildly Flowering DSP and the soon to be retired 2023-2025 In-Colors. Hope this card gives you some inspiration and please do join us at the challenge!

3/17/25 - Atlantic Hearts Sketch #621 - Spotlight on Nature Dear Friend

Hi everyone – hope you are all doing well! Today’s card is with Atlantic Hearts Sketch and this is what I came up with. I started with using the mask (#4 and #5) to create a subtle background focusing on the bottom left corner and stamped a big, bold floral image with Basic Gray and colored in with Stampin’ Blends. It still looks a little plain so I added some spot background and pearls. I gave this to a friend at OnStage event this past weekend. It’s another sketch challenge at Atlantic Hearts and today I have a Thank You card for the teacher! Hunter adores his Chess Teacher and I wanted to give her a card along with a small gift card so this is what I came up with. Just very simple Thanks sentiment with an apple colored in with Stampin’ Markers. I also went with the Marbled Elegance DSP, although it was intended to be a Valentine's day paper but I think it’s perfect here! 2/17/25 - Atlantic Hearts Sketch #617 - Ocean Friends Bundle Thanks so Much

Today’s card is a design team creation at Atlantic Hearts Sketch #617. The original sketch is horizontal, I made an orientation change and made it into a vertical card. I used the coral die cut for the background and cut out with 2 different color cardstock. The lobster and crab are used with 2 different colors to create an outline with contrast. To finish the card, I added the bubbles, sponge a light pool party on the bubbles and then a sentiment. Hi crafters, welcome back to another sketch challenge at Atlantic Hearts and today I have a book care to share! I used this For the Book bundle for this creation – I first stamped the stack of books and colored them in different colors, and then stamped a sentiment on the the top right. I also added a cute tassel that I cut out with the coorindating dies. Not sure if you guys noticed that I switched the sketch to a horizontal orientation, different right?! Happy Monday and welcome back to the first challenge of there year here at Atlanti Hearts Sketch! Today I am sharing a birthday card to kick off the challenge. I saw a similar layout on Pinterest and decided to kind of CASE it. The big piece of the floral image is cut out with White and it really pops on top of 2 layers of color DSP. The sentiment is also stamped on the muted DSP which I really like that since the paper all kind of coordinate. To finished the card I added some sequins. 12/23/2024 - Atlantic Hearts Sketch #609 - Peace & Happiness

Happy Monday and weclome back to another challenge at Atlantic Hearts Sketch and I made a Christmas theme card for this week’s challenge. Blocked background is always hard for me and I tried to cut out the DSP porpotionally but as you can see, the bottom row is a little off, but you can barely see. I think when you put a DSP on top of another layers it always pop so there is a white piece between the cardstock and the DSP. I also like how the trees are created with 2 different colors of cardstock. I hope this card give you some inspiration and you can find some time to create during this busy holiday season.

Hi crafters, can you believe that it is December?? Today I am sharing a Christmas card using Atlantic Hearts Sketch. I bought a die (w/out a stamp set) and this card is mostly using the dies from Reindeer Fun! I cut out the holly, leafs and the bells and use that to decorate around the big bold sentiment.
