2/25/2021 - Freshly Made Sketch #474 - Heart

Today’s quick card is using Freshly Made Sketch #474. Instead of using the snail image like most people would, I used the Mushroom images instead and color it with Stampin’ Markers. I also used the coordinating paper with it. Instead of an actual sentiment, I used the speech bubble with the heart from the paper and cut it out with the dies. 2/23/2021 - CAS Colours & Sketches / Make the Cards - Just A Note

Todays’ card is using 2 challenges – CAS Colours & Sketches and Make the Cards Challenge. I used the closet colors I can get for this – Rich Razzleberry, Bumble Bee and Misty Moonlight. The flower image is color in with the Stampin’ Markers and the layering pieces are using the same colors. I added some twine for some interests and the sentiment is from a different stamp set. 2/23/2021 - Cardz 4 Guyz #265 - Thinking Of You

Welcome back to another week of challenge here at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week we are making Thinking Of You card. I wanted to keep it a bit simple since it’s for a guy so I pulled out the Friend Like You Bundle. I used the Friendly Silhouettes Dies with Whisper White to cut out the image and then used my Stampin’ Up Markers to color it in. Then I stamped the dragonfly in Memento Black and put 2 on a mini dimension to pop it up. I really like how this turned out and I think I might know someone that I can send this to! 2/17/2021 - Make the Cards Challenge/Freshly Made Sketch - Love to Celebrate You

Happy Hump Day! We got well over 12+ snows on Monday, so crazy! Today’s card is using 2 challenges – Freshly Made Sketch & Make the Cards Challenge. I really enjoyed making this card. I pulled out some beautiful DSP and went to town. I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut out the middle of the DSP and layer it on top of Just Jade. I added a birthday sentiment and it’s perfectly stacked and use the Circle Punch and also layering dies to go with it. I hope you enjoy this card and have a great week.

2/15/2021 - TGIF Challenge/Addicted to CAS/The Paper Players - Thank You so very much

Happy Monday – most of you probably have today off from work but I am working, well, kind of! Today’s card is using 3 challenges – TGIF Challenge, Addicted to CAS & The Paper Players. I decided to make a heart card but turned it into a Thank You card as I’ve been needing those a lot lately! I used our Glimmer Silver Paper to die cut out the detail and layer it on top of the heart cut out and it fits perfectly. Decided to add some ribbon for some interest and Rhinestone as well. 2/14/2021 - Fab Friday #207 - It's Your Day

Today’s card is using Fab Friday sketch challenge. I pulled out the Under My Umbrella stamp set from the current catalog and paired it up with the Peony Garden DSP instead of using any of the *love* theme stamp set or paper. I stamped the umbrella onto the DSP as well as the rainboot so they both have patterns. Added a quick sentiment and made it into a Birthday card. I hope you enjoy this card I am sharing today.

2/10/2021 - CASE-ing Tuesday #290 - Thank You

Today’s quick card is using CASE-ing Tuesday on FB – page 9 from the Mini Catalog (see inspiration below). I decided to use the Flower for Every Season DSP and paired it up with the Ice-Cream Corner stamp set. The colors I used are mostly from the 2021-2023 In-Colors and I made it into a Thank You card. Not my favorite work to be honest but not sure what’s missing.

2/9/2021 - Hand Stamped Sentiments & Atlantic Hearts Challenge - Heart Card

Today’s card is using Hand Stamped Sentiments (Color) & Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. As you can see, I totally forgot to add a sentiment on this card, oops! The color scheme is Real Red/Bermuda Bay/Blushing Bride and I think these are the perfect combo for a Love card. The heart in the middle is using Duel Heart Punch from last year and the DSP is from Snail Mail. I added the Blushing Bride 3/8” Metallic Ribbon for some interests. I also think the envelope in the middle of heart is just adorable. I hope you enjoy this card I am sharing today and check out the challenges.

2/9/2021 - Cardz 4 Guyz - They say it's your birthday

Welcome back to another week here at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week we are making Clean & Simple Cards – CAS! For this challenge, I didn’t really do much stamping except the sentiments and really let the layout of the card and DSP speak for itself. Although it may look busy because of the layering piece of designer series paper but the focal point is truly simple. I cut out the mushroom from the paper and just added a sentiment. 2/8/2021 - Fusion Card Challenge / The Paper Players - Hello

 Happy Monday – today’s card is using The Paper Player Them Challenge (Love) & Fusion Card Challenge (Sketch). I recently got a really sweet note and small gift from someone so I wanted to create a non-traditional Thank You card for her but also showing how much I appreciate the gesture. I used the Snail Mail image and color it with the SU Markers. I paired it with the coordinating dies as well as the paper for this card. I also added some Resin Hearts for the cuteness. I really enjoyed making this card and I hope she will enjoy getting this card.

2/6/2021 - Freshly Made Sketch/CAS on Sunday/TGIF Challenge - Love Card

 Today's card is using 3 challenges - Freshly Made Sketches, CAS on Sunday (Love), and TGIF Challenges (Colors). H is taking a nap so I have some quick down time to make a CAS card and this is what I came up with. I really enjoy Linda C's card and used her sketch and started with my card. For the LOVE heart dies, I put a piece of Whisper White underneth so the word LOVE can show. I also added a cut butterfly from the All My Heart Dies. I really enjoyed using all the die cuts on this card with no stamping. I think I have the perfect person in mind for this. Hope you enjoy this card and have a wonderful weekend.

2/3/2021 - Try Stampin' On Tuesday or Not #492 - You're All Heart

Happy Tuesday – I have time to make a quick card today using Try Stampin’ On Tuesday! They have a really cute challenge that involve using a theme of Love is in the Air and I did exactly that to make it into a love card. I used mostly last year’s DSP and paired it up with the sentiment from Lots Of Hearts. I enjoyed making this quick card to share and I hope we are all able to share some love in this month.
