3/30/2021 - Make the Cards Challenge/Try Stampin' On Tuesday - Thanks a Bunch

Hi Crafters – today’s card is using Try Stampin’ On Tuesday & Make the Card Challenge. For the colors, I used the closest ones that I have I used the Build a Bouquet Bundle (retired) to create this card. I must say, I forgot how fun it is to use this bundle but it’s also tedious to stamp all the flowers and die cut them out but result is always stunning. I put some *bling bling* in the flower petals and it really makes it pop a little more. I finished it off with a twine and a sentiment from the stamp set. 3/29/2021 - Make My Monday #145 Easter/Spring Craft - Happy Easter

Welcome back to another week of challenge here at Make My Monday and this week we are making Easter/Spring Craft! I don’t really have any bunny image stamp set but I remember I have this wreath bundle that’s perfect for this! I used the die cuts of leaves and flowers with subtle colors of cardstock and then I stamped the eggs images on Whisper White and one of Granny Apple Green and on the same cardstock. Few of the eggs are pop up on dimension for more of the interest. Then to finish the card of, I just stamped the Happy Easter sentiment. 3/28/2021 - The Paper Player - Sent with lots of heart

Happy Sunday – Today’s card is using The Paper Players Challenge! Stampin’ Up retiring list is out so I am trying to give more loves to those paper/stamps that are going to retire soon. I used the Snail Mail DSP and paired it with Lots of Heart stamp set. The heart is using the punch pack, they are perfect for layering on top of each other. The sentiment is perfect for any occasion, just put a main sentiment you like inside and you have a wonderful card on hand to send. For a list of supplies, see below.

3/27/2021 - Just Add Ink/Fab Friday - Best Wishes

Today’s card is using Fab Friday Color Challenge & Just Add Ink Photo Inspiration. When I saw the wreath, I knew what bundle I need to use but I just wasn’t sure if the colors I am using will turn out okay, but I think it’s not too bad. The only thing I will change is that maybe the card is a bit more suitable for sympathy card. I also don’t have Pear Pizazz so instead I used Soft Seafoam for the softer looks. I put dimensional beneath the flowers and put some good old rhinestone to cover up the dimension. I hope you enjoy this card I am sharing today!

3/25/2021 - Colour INKspiration Challenge #96 - Just a Note

Today’s card is using Colour INKspiration Challenges on FB! Since Stampin’ Up just came out with the retiring list, I am determined to use all, if not most, of my retiring stamp sets for all the challenges moving forward until end of April. For this card, I used the Peony Garden DSP and the flower image is colored in with Stampin’ Markers. Might be a little hard to see but the flower is color in with Flirty Flamingo and using the *Tapping* technique with Melon Mambo. 3/24/2021 - The Card Concept & Freshly Made Sketches - Birthday Wishes

Happy Wednesday – Today’s card is using 2 challenges: The Card Concept (Butterfly) & Freshly Made Sketch. I decided to pull out the Butterfly Wishes from the current SU catalog and paired it with the current 2020-2022 In-Colors. I used the SU Markers to color in the butterflies & the branches so they can all have multiple colors. I love both of the butterfly as you can see the details of the wing, just so pretty. I finished it with a 2 colors sentiments and enamel dots. I hope you enjoy this creation today.

3/23/2021 - CAS Colours & Sketches / Make The Cards Challenge - Happy Birthday

Happy Tuesday! Today’s card is using Make the Cards Challenge (theme) & CAS Colours & Sketches. I wanted to use more of this bundle I got – Well Suited (beside the dies, as I am still waiting for it.) I use Well Suited DSP for the stripes and the oval shape. The lettering is using the Playful Alphabets dies. It might be hard to see but the oval is stitched with the dies. I enjoyed making this card and spent sometime in my craft room.

3/23/2021 - Cardz 4 Guyz #267 By The Water - Birthday Wishes

Welcome back to another challenge here at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week we are making a theme card – by the water! I use the palm tree image from Friendly Silhouette and use the negative to color in the palm tree, and then I used some images from Waterfront to finish off with the sand and a tiki house. Doesn’t it just make you want to go to Hawaii or something? The sun is stamped in Crushed Curry and I used the rock and roll technique to edge up the sun with Pumpkin Pie! Happy Monday – Today’s card is using Global Design Project #284 CASE! I pulled out my Flowering Blooms stamp set and colored it with Watercolor Pencils and Aqua Painter to smooth out the lines. I used the a die to cut out a piece of DSP and layer it underneath the flower image. The card is finished with a sentiment, ribbon and some pearls. I decided to go with the Snail Mail Bundle and make it into a no sentiment card (so I can add whatever I need later) The Snail is color in with Stampin’ Markers and the whole card is put together very quickly! 3/17/2021 - Try Stampin' On Tuesday - Friend Like You

Today’s quick card is using Try Stampin’ on Tuesday Sketch. I got the inspiration from Sue and Sara for this masking type of technique. I previously already have a circle frame die cut out so I used that as my mask and use the sponge with Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie for the background of the circle. Then I stamp the image in Black and Garden Green. I hope you like this card I am sharing today. This truly is a quick and easy card if you only have less than 10 min to go into your craft room – like I did!

3/15/2021 - CASE-ing Tuesday/Global Design Project - Happy Birthday

Third time is a charm! I have time to make another card today right before payroll starts tomorrow. I am using CASEing Tuesday & Global Design Project – Theme. I found some old DSP that was used few years ago for the Ice Cream stamp set and decided to use it since all the colors are soft and subtle. The ice-cream is stamped with Mango Melody and Balmy Blue. The card was definitely quick and easy to put together and create. Guess what, it’s snowing right now unexpectedly! How things can changed in 2 hours’ time frame!

3/15/2021 - TGIF/Addicted to CAS/Just Us Girls - Happy Mail Enclosed

Today’s card is using 3 challenges. TGIF Sketch, Addicted to CAS (Shapes) & Just Us Girls (Embossing Folder). I decided to use the Snail Mail Bundle for these challenges and creation. The 2 circles are using the dies and different sizes and the main focus I have is this Happy Mail enclosed and layer it on top of the Postage Punch with Real Red. Might be a little hard to see but I used the Subtle Embossing folder and finish it off with Resin Hearts Embellishment. I literally only had 10 mins yesterday to make a card and I am glad of the result. Thank you for stopping by!

3/15/2021 - Make My Monday #144 Clean and Simple - Your Kindness

Welcome back to another week of challenge here at Make My Monday and this week we are making Clean & Simple Card. I wanted to do a simple and fun technique – Masking so I used a scratch paper and used my Layering Circle Dies to cut out the biggest circle and then used my sponge to ink up the circle with Rococo Rose. The big flower image is inked up with Pretty Peacock and then the sentiment is from the same stamp set. Can you tell that I used most of the soon to be retired 2019-2021 In-Colors? 3/12/2021 - CAS on Friday/Fab Friday - Hello Sunshine

Happy Friday! Today’s card is using CAS on Friday (Spring) and Fab Friday (Sketch). When I think of Spring, the stamp set that I want to use it Under My Umbrella as I always remember the saying of – Spring Showers, hence the rainboots! I used the colors mostly from the Ornate Garden DSP and colors in the flowers and rainboots with Stampin’ Markers. I also added some ribbons beneath the sentiments to represent the tag tails. 3/11/2021 - Well Suited Bundle - You're the Best

Whenever I have a new stamp set or bundle to play with, I couldn’t wait and usually wanted to play with it right away. I just rec’d my order yesterday and finally have time to play with it today after feeling much better after my appointment. I used the DSP along with the stamp set. Sadly my dies are still on backorder and hopefully it will get here soon so I can create more card using this bundle. I think this card turned out pretty good, very simple and elegant. Hope like this quick card I am sharing today.

Happy Hump Day – Today’s card is using Atlantic Heart Sketch Challenge #411. I decided to use Lots of Heart Bundle, or should I say, mostly the dies (Many Hearts Dies). I picked the intricate heart dies and then use another heart die with DSP for the layering. There is a cute bird die within so I did that in Bermuda Bay and finished off with a sentiment from the stamp set. I hope you enjoy this card I am sharing today – be safe!

Happy Tuesday! Today’s card is using Try Stampin’ On Tuesday! I saw a few samples from the DT and decided on the card I want to make. I used the Celebrate Sunflower Bundle for this. Instead of using the traditional colors for Sunflower, I decided to use Rocco Rose and Terracotta Tile and the paper is from the In-Colors Pack. To make the card just pop a little more, I decided to add a strip of Whisper White and I think that turns out a little better. I hope you enjoy this card I am sharing today, be safe and healthy!

For them, can’t really make a cutey card so I decided to go with a more *adult theme* and make it a coffee card, because I think now a day they like to hang out at Starbucks, right?! 3/8/2021 - Fab Friday/Global Design Project/Make The Cards - Time To Celebrate

Happy Monday! Today’s card is using THREE challenges (I know, very rare for me!) – Fab Friday (Colors), Global Design Project (Sketch) and Make the Cards (Theme). I used the retired stamp set – Press On and found a coffee cup image for the them. Then I colored in the cup using 3 of the Stampin’ Up Markers and the background is stamped with the lighter shade of Mossy Meadow. It may be hard to see but the heart on the cup is sparkly using Wink A Stella! I truly enjoyed making this card today and it’s nice to have time to sit down quietly to craft. 3/7/2021 - Freshly Made Sketch/The Paper Players - Hello Card

Happy Sunday – it’s been a busy week and finally have some times and feeling good to make a card. Today’s card is using 2 challenges – the Paper Players (Theme Challenge) & Freshly Made Sketch. For the 3 panels, I used the Flower For Every Season DSP and cut them into 3 strips. To use the theme: Spring – I pulled out this wonderful birds image for it. When I think of Spring, it’s full of colorful birds and flowers (hence the pattern paper) The birds are colors in with Stampin’ Markers and all the colors are from the DSP. I hope you enjoy this card I am sharing today. I truly can’t wait for spring to come.
