7/29/2022 - CASE-ing Tuesday/Paper Craft Crew Challenge - Making Spirits Bright

Happy Friday! Today’s card is using CASEing Tuesday & Paper Craft Crew Challenge (sketch). I found similarity in both sketches so I created one card perfect for it. I was making swaps with Vintage Bottle and have a stamped image left so I used it on this card. I adhered a vellum underneath the main Whisper White piece and the DSP is from Holiday Mini Catalog hostess paper. I really like how this card turned out and I hope you do too!

7/28/2022 - Cardz 4 Galz #178 Black/White/Color - With Heartfelt Sympathy

Welcome back to another week of challenge here at Cardz 4 Galz and this week the challenge is Black/White + 1 color and I came up with a sympathy card. This type of card is always hard to create as you want to keep it simple and elegant. There is an awesome retired dies I used to create a square image of flower and I put a Basic Black cardstock underneath for layering. Then cut out the dies in color for the floral image. Happy Hump Day! Todays’ card is using The Paper Player Sketch Challenge to create this Beer card! I recently purchased this along with some goodies from the Mini Holiday Catalog and it’s a perfect opportunity to use it. The beer itself is with Mango Melody and the DPS is from He’s All Men (from another suite). I think this card turned out perfect and I can’t wait to see I can give it to. 7/27/2022 - Make the Card Challenge #60 - Use a Black Background - Thank You

Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Make the Card Challenge and this week we are using Black cardstock as a base for our creation! I dry embossed the piece with some brick folder and used the watercolor paper to die cut the floral image and colored it in with Aqua Painter and Re-inkers. 7/26/2022 - Hand Stamped Sentiment/Tuesday Morning - Season's Greetings

Happy Tuesday! I am finally feeling better after a week of being under the weather. Still have a little cough but all better now. Today’s card is using Tuesday Morning Sketch & Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration. I placed an order from the Holiday Mini Catty and the Tree Lots Dies is one of the SAB item for free to create this fun camper! You do not need the coordinating stamp set to go with the dies, like I did here. I used bright colors mostly on this card. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!

7/18/2022 - Make My Monday #179 Outdoor - With You I'm Never Lost

Welcome back to another week of challenge here at Make My Monday and this week we are doing outdoor and right away Hiking/Camping comes to mind. John and I used to love hiking out in the woods in California and sadly there aren’t much mountain here for us but one can only dream, right?! I used the He’s All Man DSP and there are these fun pieces element that are pre-cut and all you have to do is adhere them to the card and that’s exactly what I did here. 7/14/2022 - Cardz 4 Galz #177 Get Inky - Hello

Welcome back to another challenge here at Cardz 4 Galz and this week we are getting inky! I decided to go with the Ink Blending technique. I started with Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight and used the sponge to blend the colors onto Whisper White cardstock. The image is stamped with Stazon Black and I also used Gold Wink A Stella on some of the images. I finished the card with some gold pearls and sentiment. Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Make the Card Challenge and this week we have a sketch for you to play with! I decided to turn the sketch upside down to have the stripes on the bottom right of my card using 2022-2014 In-Colors DSP stack. I then used the same color scheme to create the floral image. I used some masculine DSP and punch out 2 circles with the punches and the middle piece is a die cut pop up from He’s the Man DSP. I added some interests with the gold ribbon tucked behind the main image. Of course I can’t create a card without a CONGRATS sentiment! 7/11/2022 - TGIF Challenge / The Paper Player - You are wonderful

Happy Monday! Hunter is thrilled because Ah-Ma is coming tomorrow to Chicagoland! Today’s card is using The Paper Players (Color Challenge) and TGIF (Sketch) challenge. I am never good at color challenges so once in a great way I would challenge myself to see what I can come up with and this is the card! Instead of using Circles like the sketch, I used Sunflowers and leaves to represent the sketch. Of course it is rare that Sunflowers are blue but hey, it still does look pretty, right?! I hope you enjoyed the card today and always challenge yourself to think outside of the box!

Happy Friday, so happy that this is a short week! Today’s card is using Tic Tac Toe Challenge and Fusion. I continue the theme from yesterday making a masculine tree card. I always love a  good sketch and this one has so may possibilities! I also used the Mask Pattern on the blue piece of DSP. I just love the effect so much and enjoyed making this card, so simple and elegant! I connected the TTT with Stencil/Blue/Tree.

7/7/2022 - Paper Craft Crew Challenge #477 - Awesome at Any Age

Today’s masculine card is using the Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge and I turned it into a birthday day for my cousin in Taiwan! I used 3 strips of DSP (1 ¼” x 4 1/2”) and then just stamped the simple tree image using the colors from the DSP. I finished the card with a bday related sentiment and I think my cousin would really enjoy this card.

Happy Hump Day! Today’s card is a submissions to DT Application at Addicted to Stamps & More. I paired it up with The Paper Player Theme Challenge and a sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch. I used the Plentiful Plants and paired it with the coordinating DSP. I love SU’s DSP because I used all the green colors that was listed for the paper. Hi everyone – welcome back to another monthly challenge at The Male Room and for month of July, we are making Monochrome card and I decided to go with Blue! I stamped the Tie and Bow images with Night of Navy and then I colored it in with Watercolor Pencils and blend it a little bit with Aqua Painter to give it more definition. 7/4/2022 - Make My Monday #178 Splatter - Happy Birthday

Happy 4th of July and welcome back to another challenge here at Make My Monday and this wee we are adding splatter to our card! I pulled one of my retired stamp set – Label Me Bold with a splatter stamp image for this. I used the current 2022-2024 In-Colors and stamped them 5 times with different colors. It may be a little hard to see but I also used Versamark and do a subtle tone on tone stamping on Sweet Sorbet cardstock. I finished the card by stamping the greeting in Black.
