8/19/25 - Cardz 4 Guyz #377 Boat - Boat Punch Art Card

Welcome back to another monthly chalelnge here at Cardz 4 Guyz and this month we are making Boat cards. I didn’t have any boat stamp sets so I have to be creative and decided to create a card with punch art! I used a circle dies for the base (cut in half) and then build on that. 7/15/25 - Cardz 4 Guyz #376 & Sparkle Challenge #190 Summer Theme - Sunshine Vibes for Summer

Hi everyone – welcome back to dual challenges today at Cardz 4 Guyz and Sparkle, both of the theme for July is – SUMMER! For some reason, when I think of summer, it reminds me of good old rainbow that appears after a summer rain. I finally gave in and purchased the Boho Vibes / Sunshine Vibes bundle which is perfect for the challenges. I used the Rainbow one to create a negative image to layer a piece of coordianating DSP underneth. 6/24/25 - Cardz 4 Guyz #375 Check/Plaid - Poppin' By Pocket Card

Happy Tuesday and welcome back to our challenge here at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week we are making Plaid/Check pattern cards! I saw a really cool and fun card that I decided to CASE it. The cardbase is just a quarter of a cardstock (8.5” x 11”) and created a pocket to hold a pull out note card. I pulled the colors from the DSP to create into a masculine card. I just adore this bundle – Poppin’ Up and the bucket to hold the popcorns doesn’t have to be the traidtional red. Did you see the shoes, ahhhh too cute!! I really like how this turned out and I hope you will join us at the challenge.

5/27/25 - Cardz 4 Guyz #373 Shades of Blue

Welcome back to another fun challenge here at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week we are making Shades of Blue card. I saw a really fun fold online/facebook page and wanted to give it a try and turn it into a cookie jar card for any boys/men in our life. 5/13/25 - Cardz 4 Guyz #372 Sketch - Poppin' By

Hi everyone – today we have a new and fun challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz, a sketch challenge, created by my wonderful and talented friend, Jolanda! I decided to use Poppin’ By (popcorn) bundle to create a fun card for this. I used one of the new in-colors – Secret Sea for the container and Darling Duckling for the Popcorn, which are perfect combo! Since Cloud Cover is not ready yet, I have to pull in Boho Blue to complete the 3^rd colors. I really like how it turned out and I hope you will join us at the challenge. See you there!

4/29/25 - Cardz 4 Guyz #371 Water - Submarine Life

Tuesday is here again and we have a fun challenge for you at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week we are making Water related card. I created this unique fun fold card using Sumbarine Life – it’s currently on the last chance list if you still want it. I paired it with Ocean Friends DSP and I think it’s perfect to create a underwater scene card. I learned this fold from Megan L. I have a quick instruction below so you can pair it with the video. 4/15/25 - Cardz 4 Guyz #370 Fancy Fold - Tune In Bundle

Hi everyone – I am so happy that we are doing Fancy Fold at Cardz 4 Guyz, I always love an opportunity to create these type of cards as I don’t do it often. The card is using the left over piece (or another side) when I created a fun fold for my other challenge. (click HERE to see). So I just used the other side of the piece to create this fun card using the soon to be retired Tune In Bundle. I added an extra flap for the TV to be on. This is a fun set to create a retro TV. 4/1/25 - Cardz 4 Guyz #369 Fun & Games - Taco Fiesta for Pinata!

April Fool’s Day but a card that I’ve created today for Cardz 4 Guyz is no joke – we are making Fun & Games card and it’s a Fiesta here! I created this pinata card using Taco Fiesta (retired) stamp set. I used varities of different colors for the pinata and the candies that’s flying around. 3/18/25 - Cardz 4 Guyz #368 S is for.... - School Days with Stampin' Up

Welcome back to another challenge with us at Card 4 Guyz and this week I am the host and we are making S for….card and my is School Days stamp set from Stampin’ Up. This is a new Online Exculsive items that you can purchase starting March and since now I have a school age soon, I will be making lots of Thank You cards for teachers. I used the Texture Notes Die and then stamp the pencil images with 5 different soft but bright colors and backpack with Peach Pie. The sentiment is with Basic Gray with Swirls Dots. Hi crafters – Happy Tuesday! Today at Cardz 4 Guyz we are making card with Clothing as a theme! Suit and Tie is such a perfect bundle for this! I saw a youtube video to create this pull out suite card and decided to CASE it. The cool part of this card is that the shirt can be pulled out and it’s folded in half so you can write a message inside. Hope you enjoyed this card and join us at the challenge.

2/4/25 - Cardz 4 Guyz #365 Clean & Simple - For the Books

Hi everyone – today at Cardz 4 Guyz we are making CAS – Clean & Simple card and this is what I came up with! I used the new masks from the Mini Catalog for a subtle background at the corner and then put a stash of books image on top of it. Happy Tuesday and welcome back to another challenge here at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week we are making Lighthouse card. I don’t owe anything related to lighthouse so I asked someone in my Secret Sister group to send me some die cuts so I can create for this challenge. All the pieces she sent was white so I used Stampin’ Blends to color it in and adhered to the piece of DSP that kind of resembles cloud. 12/10/24 - Cardz 4 Guyz #362 Christmas Tag/Cards/3D - Holiday Card

As we slowly get into the end of the year, I have so much to reflect on and just so grateful for the opportunity to be on so many wonderful design team for making cards. I am Stampin’ Up demonstrators but mostly just doing it as a hobby and of course if I can make some $$ to cover my hobby, great, if not, no biggies, you know. So today I am sharing a card that just kind of brought me peace by looking at it. I did a small technique where I sponged inks around the focal image. 11/26/2024 - Cardz 4 Guyz #361 Grateful/thankful - Latte Love Thank You Card

Today at Cardz 4 Guyz we are making Thankful/Grateful card and I use the non-traditional stamp image for this challenge, although we are just few days away from Thanksgiving! I saw this really cute layout from Julie D and decided to use it. I pulled the Latte Love Bundle and used both side of the DSP and I cut out a coffee mug image and put it on Lost Lagoon circle piece. To finished the card I added a sentiment and also some gems. Hope you can think of different kind of Grateful/Thankful card to share with us!

11/12/2024 - Cardz 4 Guyz #360 Color Combo - Lost Lagoon/Pecan Pie/Early Espresso and Daffadel Delight

Hi everyone – today at Cardz 4 Guyz we are making cards using our favorite color combo. I normally don’t have a go to color combo that I used but what I do the most is look at the Stampin’ Up DSP package and see what colors are listed and go from there. So in this case you can say the colors I picked are – Pecan Pie, Early Espresso, Lost Lagoon and Daffadel Delight. The Coffee Press is with Lost Lagoon, Cups are Daffadel Delight, cardbase is Early Espresso and the dots and coffee itself in the pot is Pecan Pie. This is a bundle from Online Exculsive which is one of my favorite. It’s perfect for all occasions. 10/29/2024 - Cardz 4 Guyz #359 Autumn/Fall Cards - Thanks

Last challenge of the month at Cardz 4 Guyz and we are making Autumn/Fall cards! You can definitely feel it in the Midwest where leaves are turning red and yellow – it’s beautiful. I kept my card pretty simple by picking 2 strips of DSP that coorindate with each others and created a pumpkin with Bee punch. Happy October and 1^st challenge of the month at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week we are making cards with wheels. I pulled out an old retired stamp set – This Birthday Piggy for the challenge. There was a cute image with the piggy riding on a scooter and just too adorable not to use. I used the 2023-2025 In-Colors Markers/DSP as a main color scheme for this card. I used the in-colors DSP for the background and the coloring for the main image. Let’s see what you can create for our wheel challenge and share your creation there!

9/17/2024 - Cardz 4 Guyz #356 Dry/Wet Embossing - A Little Latte DSP with Happy Little Things

Today at Cardz 4 Guyz we are adding Dry/Wet Embossing onto our card! I remember embossing folder as one of the first, easy fun techniques that I used very early on on my cards! I know it’s hard to see on this card but I emobossed the White cardstock with a subtle embossing folder and paired it with A Little Latte DSP. I used multiple designs from the DSP on this card, and all cut into 1” x 4” to start and trim to fit. I added a bold sentiment and colored it in with Stampin’ Blends. How is it possible that we are in September already?! Today’s card is our first challenge of the month at Cardz 4 Guyz and we are making Nautical Theme card. I don’t own any boat image so I decided to creative and use the circle dies to create a  Lifebuoy card with White and Red cardstock. I also picked a piece of DSP that kind of have the underwater feels and stamped some water bubbles around it.
