8/29/19 - ICC & PPC - Birthday Wishes

Today's card is combining two challenges - Paper Craft Crew & Inspire.Create.Challenge. When I saw the sketch, right away I want to use one of the newer stamp set but haven't inked much - Butterfly Wishes. I wanted to use the branch as a horizontal piece and still keep the circle. I didn't want the white panel to look to plain so I added another butterfly on the top. Finished off with some silver pearls and a cute sentiment. The whole piece is layer on top of a basic black and it really pops up the whole image. Hope you like the card today.

8/28/19 - Freshly Made Sketch - Let's Celebrate You

Happy Hump Day - so much going on this week, first our AC broke down and now we have a water intrusion in the basement. Sigh..... But today's card is using Freshly Made Sketch. I wanted to use up some of my retired paper and then this really awesome stamp set from the current annual catalog - Check You Out! I decided to go with bright colors for this card and keep it true to the sketch and simple. Hope everyone is having a wonderful week!

8/26/19 - PP456 - We're the Best of Friends

Another week and another challenge! Today's card is using The Paper Players Challenge. I saw two DT members used the Bird Ballard DSP and decided to do the same as well. I saw a card before just cutting out the flock of birds from one of the sheet in DSP and I decided to do that as well. The rest of the layout is pretty easy to put together. I cut out of branches from Animal Expedition Framelits and then finished it off with the Very Vanilla Trim. I really like how this card turn out, pretty simple and elegant. 8/23/19 - CAS(E) this Sketch - It's Your Birthday

Happy Friday - I went to lunch with my mom and Hunter and now chilling at home on a wonderful, sunny Friday afternoon. Today's card is using CASE this Sketch. When I saw the sketch, I knew I want to use my new stamp set and the happy birthday sentiment. The coloring is done with Stampin' Blends and I think I still need more practice on perfecting it. The card is quick and easy, I probably spend the most time cutting out the walrus. Hope you like this card today!

8/22/19 - FMS300 - Thanks Big Time

Today's card is using Freshly Made Sketch! I saw lots of DT cards and wanted to give it a try and this is what I came up with. I used the fun new stamp set and the retired Twinkle Twinkle DSP for this fun Thank You card. The coloring is using watercolor pencils with Blender Pens. Hope you like this card.

8/19/19 - Mojo Monday - Daisy Lane

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! We spend some really awesome quality time together. On Saturday I took my mom/Hunter to Andersonville and visited the Vietnamese Town and had a blast. We also bought lots of yummy goodies home.
Today's card is using Mojo Monday's Sketch. I picked the Daisy Lane to use and paired it up with Bird Ballard DSP! I really love the soft colors of the DSP and the wonderful pattern. The card is quick and easy to make and straight forward to the sketch. Have a great week!

8/16/19 - CTS#335 - I will Walrus be Your Frien

Happy Friday - today's card is using a new stamp that I just ordered and received. I've been eyeing this stamp set for awhile and  been debating if I should order it or not and finally take a plunge after seeing so many cute samples! I took a strip of whiser white and freely cut the wavy and then use the sponge with pool party to create this ocean wave in the background. I cut out the Walrus and put it on the dimension and finished it with a really cute sentiment. I hope you like this quick card today, you will definitely see more samples of this stamp set!
