4/13/20 - TGIF Challenges - You've been on my mind

Due to this Shelter in Place in IL and Covid-19 pandemic, I've been making at least one card a day and I am just so happy that I am still able to do this and enjoy myself during the hard time. Today's card is using TGIF Sketch Challenge. It's hard to see on my card but I did the Bokeh technique to match up with all the circles on the sketch. I sponged Balmy Blue and Soft Sea Foam on the Whisper White cardstock and then used my circle templates with Craft Ink to dab in the Bokeh circle. I waited until it drys then to stamp the image and added a sentiment. I hope you enjoy this card today and have a great week.

4/13/2020 - Make My Monday #120 - Give Thanks

Happy Monday and welcome back to another week with Make My Monday! For this challenge it's Spring Flowers! It's been sunny here in the Midwest but it' still a little chilly and cold, I can't wait when the weather is nicer and we can go out more often to play. I pulled out my retired DSP with the coordinating stamp set for this floral card. I stamped the background first and then the flower with Memento Black and die cut it out with the Stitched Oval Shape Dies. I am going to send this card with Bee a Blessing Card Drive for all the health workers who's been working hard for us!! Hope you enjoy today's card and be sure to play along with us!

4/12/20 - CASE-ing Tuesday & Just Add Ink -Merci

Today's card is using CASEing Tuesday on FB and Just Add Ink (add a die cut word). I used the sketch a little loosely as I was creating the card, I forgot to check the sketch again so I totally forgot about the horizonal strip that goes across. The die cut word I used is Merci (Thank You in French) and I think it paired up perfectly with the Eiffel Tower. I hope you like this quick and easy card I am sharing today.

4/11/20 - Fab Friday - Just A Little Note

Today's card is using Fab Friday Sketch. The card is inspired by a swap card that I got from our Fun n Crafty group last year and I really like the coloring they did on the daisy petal so decided to give it a try. I stamped the daisy in Melon Mambo and color in the petal wit the marker. The stem is also using 2 different images and colors to have some kind of layering so it looks truly like bushes. I really like how this turned out and maybe use this as a card to send for my Monthly Club Subscription. Thank you for stopping by and enjoy the weekend.

4/10/20 - CAS(E) this Sketch - Time To Celebrate !

Wooh Wooh - It's Friday! Today's card is using CAS(E) this Sketch. When I saw the sketch, I knew right away I want to use watercolor pencils along with my black embossing powder. I used the pencils and scribble onto the Whisper White card stock and with Aqua Painter smooth out the line and make it look likes water coloring, and then the dandelion is stamped with Versamark and with black embossing powder. I added a strip of DSP because I stamped the sentiment there but it didn't look nice so I have to cover it up, haha! (now you know!) Hope you enjoy this wonderful card today and thank you dropping by.

4/9/2020 - Fusion Card Challenge - Celebrate !

Happy Thursday - can't believe that this week is almost over, again! Today's card is using Fusion Card Challenge. I decided to pull out my paper piercing mat for this and paired it up with the Parisian DSP and heart paper doily. I used my knives/scissor to cut out the heart from the paper doily and added a celebrate sentiment. Instead of the strip across the card I used the ribbon for some added interests. This card turned out to be a very unique because of the sketch. Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
