8/31/2020 - Make My Moday #130 Criss Cross Card - Inspiring Iris

  Welcome back to another week here at Make My Monday – today we are sharing Criss Cross Card. I follow the instruction from Splitcoastampers and it was so fun and easy to make. I decided to use up some of my retired DSP from last year Occasion Catalog and make it into a encouragement card. I decided to not do a band around the card and just adhere a stamped image on oval shape dies in the middle with dimensional. I also used the Timeless Label Punch to create a tab for the insert’s handle. 8/29/2020 - Tuesday Morning Sketches - Season's Greeting

Today’s card is using Tuesday Morning Sketches. I decided to go wit the Coming Home Bundle to create this card. I die cut out the trees and the house and color them in with the Stampin’ Blends . The more I used the Blends, the more I am in love with them but I definitely need more practice. Then I adhere the Pool Party cardstock with the Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper. I added a sentiment and finish the card. I hope you enjoy this card I am sharing today.

8/28/2020 - CAS(E) this Sketch & Fab Friday - Wishing You Well

 Happy Friday – it’s a gorgeous sunny and humid day here in the Chicagoland area and I found myself thinking about how fall is just around the corner. Today’s card is using Fab Friday (color) & CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge for a fall theme card. I don’t have Cajun Craze on hand but not a problem, it’s in the DSP! I die cut out the maple leaves in Bumblebee and Cinnamon Cider and since it’s already have some kind of texture, I enhanced it a little more by using Dauber and put some ink on it, to make the texture more noticeable. I really like how this card turned out and always love the simplicity of a sketch. I hope you enjoy this card I am sharing today!

8/26/2020 - Freshly Made Sketches & Hand Stamped Sentiment - May this season

Happy Hump Day – it’s been a bit crazy so finally have some times to make a quick card, using Freshly ade Sketch and Hand Stamp Sentiments Inspiration Challenge. The card is pretty clean and simple, just use the DSP and the images of pumpkins. They are color in with both Stampin’ Markers and Stampin’ Blends. Guess what, I don’t even have a Pumpkin Pie Markers or Blends?? Shocking, I know!! What am I going to do making fall cards?? Hope you enjoy this quick and easy card today.

8/25/2020 - Cardz 4 Guyz #252 Explore Outdoors

Weclome back to another week of challenge here at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week we are making Great Outdoor card. When I think of outdoor activities, golfing pop to mind. Golf is important part of my life – my god-mother/god-father owns a golf course in Taiwan, I used to work there for a year, all my relatives including my folks love playing golf and I used to play too……so this theme is special to me. I kept the card pretty simple and used the retired Clubhouse bundle for this. I added a Happy Father’s Day sentiment because 8/8 is Taiwanese Father’s day and this card will be heading to CA to my dad. As you can see, lots of die cutting and only one stamp. 8/21/2020 - Inspired By Challenge - Happy Birthday You Old Goat

 Happy Friday! Today’s card is using a new challenge I found called Inspired By and this week it’s a sketch challenge with a punny sentiment. When I saw that I knew I want to use the Way To Goat set because it has some really funny sentiment. I stamped the image in Stazon Black and color in with Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pen and used the corner rounder to round out the corner. I put a layer underneath and then another DSP to finish of the card. This is definitely a quick and easy card for something who is REALLY funny!

8/19/2020 - The Card Concept - Thinking of You

Happy Hump Day – I needed a cheer me up card today so I went into my craft room and made a card using The Card Concept (Sunset at the Shore). I saw a card made by Stampin’ With Cindy and decided to CASE it. I used the biggest stamping block and inked it with Pool Party and Crumb Cake then spritz it with water to get the watercolor effects. Then I stamped the images with Stazon Black. To finish the card, I adhere it onto an Early Espresso cardstock. I hope you enjoyed this card I am sharing today.
