4/28/2022 - Double D - Coming Home / Building

Happy Thursday! Today’s card is using Double D for Building card. I’ve always loved this stamp set called Coming Home and decided to make it into a Christmas card without the sentiment. The house is colored in with Stampin’ Blends and the DSP is the coordinating paper at the time of the bundle. Each strip is cut down to 1” x 5 ¼” This is a great way to use up your scraps of DSP.

4/27/2022 - Tuesday Morning Sketch #654 - Shaded Summer Love You Friend

Finally another card not with DT Challenge. Today’s card is using Tuesday Morning Sketch. I have a die that actually made stiches around the border but haven’t been able to use it so this is a perfect sketch for it. I also used another stamp set – Shaded Summer, which will be carrying over to the new SU annual catalog! The color markers I used are soon to be retired 2020-2022 In-Colors. 4/25/2022 - Make My Monday #173 - Happy Birthday

Welcome back to another challenge here at Make My Monday and this week we are making Happy Birthday card! I also combined my card with Freshly Make Sketch and Inspiration Challenge at TGIF. I used my die from the current Mini Catalog with different cardstock to create a rainbow and also used the Blue Glimmer Paper for cloud. 4/20/2022 - Try Stampin' On Tuesday/CASEing the Catty Sunday - Wishing You the Sweetest

Happy Hump Day! Today’s card is using FB – Caseing the Catty Sunday Challenge and Try Stampin’ On Tuesday Sketch Challenge. I am sad that the DSP – Sweet Talk is retiring and decided to put it to good use. Although the colors are truly just for Valentine’s Day but I’ve been using them for other occasions as well. The Gumball Greetings bundle is also retiring – this might be a bundle I will keep for awhile! Thank you for checking out my card today.

4/20/2022 - Make the Card Challenge #53 Technique - Ink Blending Background - Thanks

Welcome back to another week here at Make the Card Challenge and this time we are creating an ink blending background and this is what I came up with. I used the painter’s tape on both side to create a panel in the middle and used sponge with 3 different shades of blue, from the lightest to the mid darkest. The I used Stazon Ink with the tree image and added a Thanks sentiment. I finished the card with some Polished Dots. 4/19/2022 - CAS/TGIF/Global Design - Hello (Flowering Rainboots)

Happy Tuesday! I finally made a card using challenges! It’s only been a few days but I feel like my mojo is missing somewhere. I used a mask to create a light blue background. For the sketch, instead of using ribbons or DSP, I used a paper lattice as a holder for the pot and stamped Hello as a greeting. I kept the card pretty simple to fit the challenges and for the theme of flower. Thank you for stopping by.

4/19/22 - Cardz 4 Guyz #294 Tag, You're It - A Happy Birthday

Welcome back to another week of challenge here at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week we are making card with Tags! It’s a bit of challenge for me because when I think of Tag – I think it’s more for the girl but I am up for it and this is what I came up with – I made it into a Happy Birthday masculine card. I used the retired tag punch with the Designer Series Paper and lots of it! The tie is also cut out with the DSP  and finished the card with a sentiment.
