I used the DSP to showcase some flower images as well as using Aqua Painter with reinkers to color in the die cut image. Welcome to the last challenge of the month at Cardz 4 Galz and this week we are making cards inspired by book! It took me awhile to come up with a card so I picked the bundle I want to use – Attention Shopper and then see what book I can paired it up with. I remembered reading a fun series by Sophie Kinsella about shopping and the lightbulb went up in mind and I created this card! The sentiment is perfect with the book I am sharing (Confessions of a Shopaholic) and I created 3 shopping bags with a quick paper piercing technique with the in-color paper. It’s subtle but I sponged Pretty in Pink on the background of my sentiments/images to make the whole piece pop. I hope you enjoyed this card and be sure to join us at the challenge.
Welcome back to another challenge here at Cardz 4 Guyz and for this challenge, it’s Anything Goes!! I need a congratulations card this past weekend for my dear friend, Evan’s retirement party from the Navy and this card was truly perfect because he spent 19 years working in the submarine! I was really excited to be able to make this card for him – not just for kids! I tried to add some really fun under the sea elements like bubbles, starfish and few bright colors of fishes! Welcome back to another challenge here at Atlantic Hearts Sketch and this is my take on the sketch. I used the rectangle instead of the oval on the sketch and instead of the wreath, I used the leaves images and added the die cut flowers from Hugs & Kisses! We are back here at Make My Monday for another fun challenge and this week we are making Outdoor Fun! For the challenge, I created a card for all the artist inside us with an easel image from Crafting with You bundle! When the weather is nice, I see lots of people with their drawing pads or Easel at the Botanic Garden, capturing natural’s beauty. This is also a quick and easy fun fold, where you create a card base hot dog style (long way) and then cut it at 2.75 inches and use that piece as a panel for the fun fold! Happy Saturday Sparkle Buddies! This month’s theme is Fun Pun so I created a cut Guacamole card for you all! I stamped all the fun ingredients to make a guac – ie Avocado, lime/lemon and you can’t have guacamole without chips, right? Of course we cannot have a fun pun with a sentiment!
