4/26/24 - Sending Love & Big Hugs

Happy Friday! It’s been awhile since I made a card for other challenges. I combined a few and made this Sending Love & Big Hugs card using some retired items as well as *soon to be* retire Sending Smiles bundle! This bundle was one of my favorite and caught my eye early on when catalog came out so I gotta have it. It’s very versatile and the dies are great, it even has shapes that fits the sentiments. Azure Afternoon is a color that came out last year with the new SU catalog and I never USED it. Finally placed an order to get some cardstock and finally using it on a card. I hope you enjoyed this card I am sharing today and hope you get to create this weekend.

Welcome back to CCC – Christmas Craft Creation and this month we are making non-traditional Christmas colors. The main colors that I want to point out on this card is the dark yellow/mustard colors that’s something we normally don’t see but when it paired it with the dark green/red it actually goes together! I also did a showcase on the DSP and this is such an easy layout to showcase your wonderful paper. Hope you can join us at the challenge.

The sunshine image are colored in with Watercolor Pencils with Blender Pen and Aqua Painter and I used some fun circle dies for the layering. This stamp set and coordinating punch is on sales right now as last minuet items from the Annual Catalog, be sure to grab them if you like it!

4/22/2024 - Make My Monday#224 International Jazz Day - Piano with Classic Label Punch

Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Make My Monday and this week the theme is International Jazz Day and I made a piano card for this challenge. Sadly I no longer have any guitar/music dies so I have to be creative for this challenge. I saw a video from Tammy White and decided to CASE it. I happened to still have the Label Punch that I can use. My Basic Black piece is 5 x 3/1/2” and then layering Sweet Sorbet piece is bigger than that. I finished the card with a ribbon and a sentiment. I enjoyed making this card and I hope you will take the time to join us at the challenge.

Welcome back to another bi-monthly challenge at Cardz 4 Galz and this week we are using Movie Theme to make our card! I used the Stitched with whimsy Dies to create an irregular borders to give it some texture. The strips of DSP is cut ¾” x 3 ½”, which you can adjust to your liking. I also used Vellum for the wings and underneath put a cardstock for layering. Hope you enjoyed this card I am sharing today and be sure to join us at the challenge.

Welcome back to another bi-monthly challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week we are making CAS – Clean & Simple card! To me, CAS is lots of space, a major focal point and not a lot of layering. I used a die from Build a Milkshake as a template to sponge a little background and the 2 beers are stamp and die cut out, to put on a layering circle piece. Brewed for you and the coordinating dies are retiring soon, so be sure grab it by end of the month! Thank you for stopping by and be sure to join us at the challenge.

4/15/2024 - Atlantic Hearts Sketch #573 - Filled with Happiness with 2022-2024 In-Colors

Today at Atlantic Hearts Sketch, we have a fun sketch for you, that I turned it into a vertical orientation card for you. I know I want to use the Filled with Happiness stamp set (soon to be retired) so I *NEED* to make the sketch works for me, hahahha. So instead of the horizontal sketch, I made it into a vertical sketch by turning the sentiment. I used mostly the 2022-2024 In-colors, the DSP, the cardstock and the coloring. I first stamped the whole image onto Tahitian Tide and then just the bird image onto White and punch it out to adhere onto the Tahitian Tide piece. Hope you enjoyed this card and let’s be creative and join us at the challenge!

Welcome back to our monthly challenge here at Sparkles Challenge and this month I am the host and we are making Flower cards! I continue to use as much soon to retire items from the 2023-2024 Stampin’ Up Annual Catalog as possible. The Bottle of Happiness comes with a coordinating punch that you can make into a shaker’s card. On this card I used a bit non-traditional flower colors – Tahitian Tide and Parakeet Party. I wished I didn’t stamped the bottle with Basic Gray, a bit too dark. I hope you enjoyed this cared I am sharing today and be sure to join us at the challenge. Happy Thursday! Finally a blog post that’s not for design team! Today’s card is using As You See It #320 but sadly I missed the deadline! I am also submitting this to The Crafty Addicts to the design team application. The card used all of the 2022-2024 in-colors, before they retired for good! I used the small flower image to stamp across the card and added some sequins for interests. Hope you enjoyed the card!

I continue to use as much retiring stamp set/supplies as I can in most of the April’s blog post. Songbird is one of the bundle that’s retiring and the punch is heavily discounted. I used the punch to cut out the bird and the wing and adhered it onto the retiring in-colors DSP as well. I just love the music notes that we can stamp with the birdies. Hope you get some inspiration from my card and be sure to join us at the challenge.

4/5/24 - My Time To Craft #531 Butterfly/Dragonfly - Spotlight on Nature with Tahitian Tide,

It’s Friday and another bi-weekly challenge at My Time To Craft and we are making card with butterfly/dragon fly. I am dedicating April blog posts to use mostly retiring items from Stampin’ Up. Although the stamp set is new from the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog, the color itself, - Tahitian Tide is retiring. I must be honest, this is one color that I don’t use often, I can probably count up the times used the ink pads. So I decided to go with the monochromic theme on this card. The butterfly is fuzzy cut out and don’t you just love the circle dies here? That’s one major reason I purchased this bundle for Craft Night at OnStage. I hope you enjoyed this card I am sharing today and be sure to join us at the challenge.

4/4/2024 - Cardz 4 Galz #222 Cute Animals - This Birthday Piggy Happy Birthday

Happy Thursday and it means that another challenge at Cardz 4 Galz and this week we are making cute animal card! I bought the This Birthday Piggy bundle when it was on clearance rack and finally can use it on this challenge! The image is stamped with Stazon Black and colored in with Stampin’ Markers. Each of the DSP is 1 ¾” x 3 ¾” (you can do small pieces if you like – this is a great way to use up some scraps) I layered a piece of Pool Party cardstock so the DSP is not so blended in. Hope I give you some inspiration and be sure to join us at the challenge.

There are different type of *embossing* and I decided to use the embossing folder with ink to create this background piece. I used Basic Gray ink pad and ink up the embossing folder and ran it through the machine. Then my main focal point is the beer mug that was die cut out. Starting April, I will be showcasing lots of soon to be retired stamp sets and bundle, so be sure to check out my blog this month and place any last minuet orders through my website.

Hi Hi – Welcome back everyone to the Atlantic Hearts Sketch and today I have a masculine heart card for you! When I saw the sketch, I knew I want to use Country Bouquets for this and make a Happy Birthday card for my God-Father in Taiwan. I stamped the 2 step stamping images with Wild Wheat and Lost Lagoon, according to the color listed on the DSP and added a sentiment. In my culture, it is hard to say I love you and I miss you in general so I thought stamping that sentiment is just perfect for let him know. I hope you enjoyed this card I am sharing today and be sure to join us at the challenge.

3/9/24 - My Time To Craft #529 Fantasy - Leprechaun Hat

Happy Friday! Today’s theme at My Time To Craft is Fantasy and I created a Leprechaun hate card for this. I don’t have any stamp sets related to the theme so I have to be creative with my card. Hope you enjoyed this creative card and hope that you can join us at the challenge.

  • Mark 1” from both side of cardstock
  • Also mark 1” from the bottom of the card, draw a line across
  • Cut at the 1” until the line, on both side
  • Voila, you have a base of the hate
  • Round the corner and the Basic Black piece is 1” x 3 ½”
  • Decorate as you wish
