7/26/24 - My Time To Craft #539 Summer Fun - Center Step Card with Crafting with You

Happy Friday crafters! Welcome back to another challenge here at My Time to Craft and the theme for this month is Summer Fun!! Most people will be thinking about swimming, camping, hiking and outdoor activities, and my is too, but different kind of activities – it’s PAINTING!! Instead of using a stamp image onto the canvas, I used the beautiful designer series paper as a painting and I added a basket of paint brushes. 7/25/24 - Cardz 4 Galz #230 Baby - Hello Baby Card

Today at Cardz 4 Galz we are making Baby card! My direct boss/co-worker whom recently just became a grandmother to a baby girl so this card is perfect for this occasion! The cute bunny/bear/lamb images were stamped around the cardstock and the baby also has blushes added onto her face and shoes. The card was finished with a twine and sentiment of Hello Baby! 7/23/24 - Cardz 4 Guyz #352 Metals - Hearts & Hugs Wobble card

Hi everyone – welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week we are making *Metals* card. I have to be creative for this challenge as I can’t embossed to have a metal effects so I ended up using the Metallic Gems on my card, that counts as a *Metals* right?! I decided to make a Wobble card using the cute mouse image for a masculine birthday card! The mouse is colored by Stampin’ Blends and I kept the card very simple since I want to showcase the wobble. 7/22/24 - Atlantic Hearts Sketch #587- Cheerful Daisy Hello

Happy Monday and it’s another weekly challenge here at Atlantic Hearts Sketch and team B is sharing this sketch and I used the Cheerful Daisy bundle from last year to create this fun, multiple layer card. The White cardstock is sponge with Pretty in Pink and I used 2 different colors for the flowers image. I finished the card with a really simple Hello sentiment. 7/18/2024 - Tune In Birthday Card with 2 Challenges

Happy Birthday to me!!! Turning 47 is just so strange! Never thought I would be making cards and posting on my crafty blog at this age – I have to make a card to celebrate this occasion. I used the color challenge from Hand Stamped Sentiments and Freshly Made Sketch for this retro TV birthday card! I saw a really cleaver idea that they used the pieces from the die to create birthday candles so I decided to give it a try! Instead of coloring in the TV, I stamped the image on the DSP. I also changed the orientation of the sketch to fit the TV white cardstock, it was too big, haha. Thanks for stopping by!

7/15/24 - Make My Monday#230 Celebrate - Happy Little Things,

Happy Monday and welcome back to another Make My Monday and this time we are making Celebrate card! We could celebrate birthday, retirement, graduation, so my card is just a very general – CELEBRATE card. I used a bold Celebrate sentiment and colored it in with the colors on DSP. I used the DSP that has fruits images but since I don’t have the coordinating stamp bundle, I can rarely used the fruits sides but this layout is a perfect way to do so since it’s simply a background. I saw a cute tutorial for one sheet wonder and used part of it for it. Hope you enjoyed this card and be sure to join us at the challenge.

Hi everyone -for July, we are making boy’s card at Sparkle Challenge and I decided to make a shaker’s card with the theme. I used mostly 2023-2025 Stampin’ Up in-colors for the card. The retro TV is stamped and die cut out with Tune In Bundle and I also cut out some shapes for inside the shaker’s card. Welcome back to another Heart’s Quest Challenge and this week’s card is a succulent card using Planted Paradise stamp set. I used a piece of DSP that has Terracotta color from Cheerful Daisy and the pot is stamped in Gray. I used 2 different coordinating colors/DSP and cut out 2 hearts as a decorated background. 7/12/24 - My Time To Craft #538 CAS - Dear Friend with Spotlight on Nature

Happy Friday! Today at My Time to Craft we are making CAS – Clean & Simple card!! What is CAS you might asked? I have a quick information that I got from a challenge blog site. I used a sketch challenge from Try a Sketch on Tuesday to go with my card. Instead of having 4 circles. I created a background using 4 different pastel colors. I used Painter’s Tape to cover up both end so I can sponge in the colors I want. To finished, I simply stamped the flower image with a sentiment. 7/11/24 - Cardz 4 Galz #229 Shades of Blues - Tune In Bundle News Flash

Welcome back to another challenge here at Cardz 4 Galz and our first challenge for the month is shades of blues! Right away when I saw this challenge, I knew I wanted to use the Mediterranean Blue DSP since I didn’t get the coordinating stamp bundle so I have to use the blue side of the paper. The patter also reminds me of retro wallpaper so it’s perfect for my Tune In Bundle! I used the die cut to cut out the TV shapes and added all the accessories pieces. 7/9/2024 - Cardz 4 Guyz #351 Animals - Pets & More Thinking of You

Happy Tuesday and welcome back to another Cardz 4 Guyz challenge and this week we are making Animal cards. I saw a cute tutorial from Delight of My Art for a window shadow box. This one is a bit different than the one I’ve made before but still a fun one to make. I used Mediterranean Bloom DSP, the other side that doesn’t have the fruit images for this card, to it’s more masculine. The circle opening is using a die, and of course it can be any shapes you like. I used the Pets & More foxy image with 2 cute tennis ball at the corner. 7/8/24 - Atlantic Hearts Sketch #585 - Cheerful Daisy for brightest birthday

Today I am sharing this card I created with Cheerful Daisy bundle at Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge. I cut down 2 pieces of the large flower images and put it on both sides of the cardstock to create a large background. I also cut down the leaves and tugged it behind the daisy. I finished the card with a sentiment and placed it in the middle of the card. To finish the card I also added 2 gems. I hope you can join us at the challenge!

7/5/24 - Latte Love for Challenges

Happy Friday and weekend is just around the corner! Bummer I have to work today but hopefully for a quite day since most people are taking a PTO today. Today’s card is using mainly Red/White/Blue/Craft colors to create a fun coffee card. I am trying to showcase that you don’t have to make a parotic card using these colors (ie – American Flag Colors) The coffee mug is colored in with Stampin’ Blends and the coffee is stack up with a dimension. Happy first of July and welcome back to another challenge here at Make My Monday and this week we are making Ice-Cream/Cocktails card! I used my retired Share a Milkshake dies. I used the die to cut out the ice cream x 2, chocolate topping x 1, spoon x 1, cone x 1. I created a card that doesn’t have folding/flaps so you can just write a note on the back of the card. 6/27/24 - Cardz 4 Galz #228 Inspired by Books - Attention Shopper (Confessions of a Shopaholic)

Welcome to the last challenge of the month at Cardz 4 Galz and this week we are making cards inspired by book! It took me awhile to come up with a card so I picked the bundle I want to use – Attention Shopper and then see what book I can paired it up with. I remembered reading a fun series by Sophie Kinsella about shopping and the lightbulb went up in mind and I created this card! The sentiment is perfect with the book I am sharing (Confessions of a Shopaholic) and I created 3 shopping bags with a quick paper piercing technique with the in-color paper. It’s subtle but I sponged Pretty in Pink on the background of my sentiments/images to make the whole piece pop. I hope you enjoyed this card and be sure to join us at the challenge.

6/17/2024 - Make My Monday#228 Summer Outdoor Fun - Just a Note Crafting with You

We are back here at Make My Monday for another fun challenge and this week we are making Outdoor Fun! For the challenge, I created a card for all the artist inside us with an easel image from Crafting with You bundle! When the weather is nice, I see lots of people with their drawing pads or Easel at the Botanic Garden, capturing natural’s beauty. This is also a quick and easy fun fold, where you create a card base hot dog style (long way) and then cut it at 2.75 inches and use that piece as a panel for the fun fold! 6/13/24 - Cardz 4 Galz #227 Summer Fun - Attention Shoppers

Another fun Thursday challenge at Cardz 4 Galz and this week we are making Summer Fun card! Everyone’s definition of *FUN* is a little bit different and for me, it’s shopping!! In the Midwest, summer time is a great time to go to outdoor shopping malls, in the winter, not so much. I use the Attention Shopper bundle for this create a shopping cart card. I die cut out all the fun elements and colored it in with Stampin’ Blends. The cart is cut out with Foil Sheet and then I put all these fun elements inside the cart. Happy Hump Day! I am sharing a card that I made for a group swap with Fun n’ Crafty ladies and this is what I came up with. I used a non-traditional pattern for this retro TV card from a bundle called Tune-In. This is one of the first bundle that I want out of the catalog. I don’t even know why but I was just really drown to it. I guess it’s because we used to have a same retro TV at home. 6/10/24 - Atlantic Hearts Sketch #581 - Wildly Flowering DSP

Hi crafters – welcome back to another challenge here at Atlantic Hearts Sketch and this week I have a beautiful floral card for you. The new Wildly Flowering DSP totally reminds me of the paper we had last year pairing it up with Cheerful Daisy and I also added the butterfly accents on it. I used the re-inkers with aqua painter for a softer looks on the butterfly. Details of the flowers and leaves are actually cut out using the DSP, cute eh?! Welcome back to another monthly challenge here at The Male Room and this month we are making cards with Twine/Ribbon. I think it’s always a bit harder to use ribbon/twine on a masculine card but I think as a background accents always work. I used it to tug behind a main focal point. This card as you can see doesn’t used any stamp, the piece was from a DSP die cut. The DSP piece is 3” x 1 ¼” (or you can do 3” x 1 ½”) and the White piece is 3 ¼” x 4 ½” (or 3 ¼” x 5”) this is a great way to show case your Designer Series Paper! Happy Tuesday! I squeezed in a little time to make a card before my business trip to Seattle – with Sunday Stamps Sketch & The Paper Players Theme Challenge. This Latte Love bundle is just perfect for this with sentiment of – Hello there, let’s catch up soon! The bigger coffee cups is from the DSP and I added a smaller espresso cup from the die cut.
