5/30/23 - Cardz 4 Guyz #323 Lots of Layers - Thanks

Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week we are making cards with multiple layers! I am truly surprised that I can come up with many layers on my card, usually 2-3 is enough for me. I used lots of designer series paper from He’s the Man and also cardstock to cut out the banner and vellum for layering. To finish the card I added a sentiment and also dots to add some interests. 5/29/2023 - Atlantic Hearts Sketch #527 - Cheerful Daisy Birthday

Welcome back to another weekly challenge here at Atlantic Heart Sketch and this week I have a fun daisy card for you. I used the Cheerful Daisy die to create this big piece of floral image and adhered it onto the 2022-2024 In-Colors DSP. Then I finished the card with a birthday sentiment and added some polished dots at the corner where the flower is supposed to be. 5/27/2023 - Less is More #484 Flower (One Layer) - You Are Lovely

Hi everyone – Happy Saturday! Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Less is More and this week we are making one layer flower card! During the retiring time for Stampin’ Up, I snatched up Art Gallery stamp set at discount because I wanted the sentiment as well as using Gilded Leafing technique so here it is!! I stamped the bold image in Mint Macaroon and then the detail with Versamark and Heat & Sticking powder and then added the gold flakes. I love the result and it is a great simple way to add some texture for a very quick and simple card. I hope you enjoyed the card I am sharing today and be sure to join us at the challenge.

5/24/2023 - Christmas Craft Creation May 2023 No Stamping - Peace, Love, Joy

 Hi everyone – welcome back to another monthly challenge here at Christmas Craft Creation – May 2023 and this month we are doing No Stamping card! It’s easy and hard at the same time because usually on my card there is at least 1 stamping factor. But no worries here, I went into my stash of Coming Home DSP from few years ago and there are lots of houses images that coordinates with the die cut so I simply just cut out all the images and just adhere them onto the card, even the sentiment! This is a easy card to make if you cut out all the pieces and just adhere them one at a time! I hope you like this fun challenge and be sure to join is there!

5/23/2023 - It's Your Day Birthday card

Happy Tuesday! Today’s card is a sunshine/rainbow masculine card to celebrate someone’s birthday! I don’t think we ever think about doing a rainbow for the special guy in our live but this is just for that. I have some left over die cut out for the shape of rainbow and I colored it in with Stampin’ Blends and have them tugged behind some clouds. I also find a retired DSP with sunshine image! I truly hope that when I send out this card, it will brighten someone’s birthday! Thank you for stopping by.

5/22/2023 - Make My Monday #201 Masculine - Sending You a Smile

Happy Monday crafters! Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Make My Monday and this challenge is all about masculine card. I finally got my orders from the current 2023-2024 annual catalog and wanted to use it to create a card. I stamped the image with Stazon and colored it in with Watercolor Pencils with Aqua Painter to ease out the harsh line. 5/19/2023 - Everyday Thanks

Happy Friday! My one off order came earlier this week and I wanted to use it to create Thank You cards for the teachers at Hunter’s preschool. I used the Rugged Icon Dies the guitar image to create a card for the music teacher. In the same set, there is a pencil image which I will be using for his other teachers. This is a great way for me to use up some of my retired cardstock as well as designer paper. Hope you enjoyed this card and below is the image of the stamp set!

5/18/2023 - Cardz 4 Galz #199 Backgrounds - A card to say hello

Hi crafters – welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Cardz 4 Galz and this week we are making background card. I have this Split Texture Dies from Stampin’ Up that already retired but I kept and wanted to use more often so this is a perfect challenge for it. I used the die cut template with Stampin’ Sponge that I finally opened to create this subtle background. (as you can see, I need more practice) I kept the card pretty simple, just stamp the flower image on top of the background that I created. To finish the card I added a pearl and Wink a Stella onto the flower. I hope you enjoyed this quick card I am sharing today and be sure to join us at the challenge.

Happy Wednesday! Today’s card is using CASEing Tuesday on FB! I really like the sample in catalog and copy and paste the layout of it. I changed the stamp image into a die cut piece from Cheerful Daisy and then sponge it with inks. The strips of paper and DSP is to make sure all the color coordinates. 5/16/23 - Cardz 4 Guyz #322 Bi-Peddle - You're the Best

Hi followers! Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week we are making Bi-Peddle card. Sadly I don’t have any stamp set for that but I quickly realized that I do have a small die cut image of a bicycle and it’s perfect for this challenge. I saw a wonderful card idea from Brian King and this is what I came up with. I cut out 2 different colors of cardstock for the background and adhered the bicycle image on it. I also use the same set of dies to cut out few clouds. This will be a perfect card for any bike lover and I think I will save this one for Father’s Day for my husband since he loves bike riding as a family activities. 5/15/2023 - Atlantic Hearts Sketch #525 - Hello

Hello – welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Atlantic Hearts Sketch and this week I have a masculine card for you using our sketch! Instead of flowers, I put a main focus on this Rugged Icon Dies of mountain scene and created a center piece for it. I also added a fishing pole dies to add more layering for the focal point. 5/14/2023 - Less is More #483 Theme Spring - Hello

Hi Everyone – Happy Mother’s Day weekend! Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Less is More and this week we are making Spring (theme) card and this is what I came up with! I used one of the *square* dies of floral image with a green cardstock and then cut out small flower pieces with red cardstock. To finish the card I added some dots in the middle of the flowers. 5/11/2023 - Paper Craft Crew Challenge #517 - Piggy Card

It’s a sunny day here in Chicagoland area! I created a card using Paper Craft Crew Challenge to create a card. The word I used are Fun Fold, Rhinestone, Animals Hearts, Flowers to create a line! I pulled out new to me stamp set to create this simple fun fold. The fold is easy, just make sure the card is long way and cut the front panel in half at 2 ¾”. I also used a DSP with flower image and the piggy is colored in with Stampin’ Markers. Hope you like this card!

5/10/2023 - Inspired.Create.Challenge #142 - Thank You

Happy Hump Day! Today I’ve created another card using Inspired.Create.Challenges – sketch! This is a great sketch to show case your DSP but the cutting is a bit funky since we are leaving gaps between the top 2 pieces. What I did is cut the paper to the size I want and play with the cutting dimension. I’ve provided what I got from the DT – Tammy, which I might used next time when I do this again. I made it into a very simple card that I will be sending it to Helen, a hostess for our annual swap!

5/9/2023 - Just Add Ink/Sunday Stamps - Wishing you the Brightest Birthday

Happy Tuesday! Today’s card is using Sunday Stamps sketch and Just Add Ink Inspiration. I saw beautiful flowers with Dark Purple so I automatically wanted to use my new Cheerful Daisies Bundle! I stamped the outline with Blackberry Bliss and filled the inside with Fresh Freesia and the middle with Crushed Curry. I also found an retired DSP that goes perfect with the color scheme. Hope you enjoyed this card I am sharing today.

5/8/2023 - Make My Monday #200 CAS - Strong & Courageous

Hi everyone – welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Make My Monday and this week we are making CAS card! I have to be honest that I am not really good at Clean & Simple card but I am definitely trying my best. The definition of CAS is pretty broad and for me it’s tons of space. For this card I clustered my images and embellishment in the middle of my horizontal card and I added a very fun interest – where I sponged the edge of the White cardstock to make it look a little bit vintage. 5/6/2023 - CASE-ing Tuesday #406 / As You See It Challenge #209 - Cheerful Daisy

Happy Saturday! I finally got my goodie yesterday and couldn’t wait to create a card! This is using CASE-ing Tuesday on FB and As You See It Challenge – New Stuff. I was really sad that the Celebrate Sunflower retired but then Stampin’ Up came out with this Cheerful Daisy Bundle that’s even better! I never purchased the whole suite and this is the first time I did that. This is a CASE from catalog so I just used different side of the DSP to show case. I hope you enjoyed this creation. Happy Friday! As I anxiously await for my new goodies from the 2023-2024 catalog, I made a card using Tic Tac Toe (Die Cut/Free/Birthday) and Try Stampin’ On Tuesday challenges. I love the sketch and decided to create an horizontal birthday card. I used some bright colors to create the milkshake and added a fun straw. 5/4/2023 - Cardz 4 Galz #198 Mothers/Friends - I Love You Mom!

Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Cardz 4 Galz and this week we are making Cards for Mother/Friends! I saw a video from Sunny Day Stamping for a Window Shadow Box card and wanted to give it a try and guess what?! It turns out wonderfully! I have the dimensions and measurments below and you should definitely give this a try. Inside the card, I used Forever Fern and stamp the leafs in the colors from DSP. I kept the sentiment very simple since you can now a day basically say I Love You to anyone, but I do have my wonderful mother in mind when I created this card. Hi fans – welcome back to another monthly challenge here at The Male Room and this week we are making Animals card and I decided to make an Owl card to give to the teachers at Willow Wood Preschool. I pulled out this retired but well-loved stamp set for this creation. I stamped 2 book images in different color and have the owl stand on top of those books. 5/2/2023 - Cardz 4 Guyz #321 Messy - You're the Best

Hello hello, welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week we are getting MESSY! There are so many creative medium that you can make a mess on the card and what I did is I used Stampin’ Markers on a block, spritzes it with water and then ink on a white cardstock to create a watercolor block background. I said it’s messy because I sure made a mess on my desk when I was spritzing the water and when I flipped the block over, the water was dripping down! 5/1/2023 - Birthstone Challenge #3 Emerald/Pearl - Let's Celebrate You

Welcome back to the May/June Birthstone challenge and the color for this month is Emerald/Pearl! I decided to use a fun technique I learned from Karen Titus to create this fun card showcasing both side of the DSP. For pearl, I used the glimmer paper and cut a framed flower piece using a die and layer it on top of Parakeet Party cardstock. I really like how this turned out.
