6/30/2022 - Cardz 4 Galz #176 Triangle - May Your Day

 Welcome back to another challenge here at Cardz 4 Galz and this week we are making card with Triangle elements! I couldn’t find any dies/mask/paper with Triangle so I decided to just cut my designer paper INTO triangles! I picked a DSP that I wanted to use and cut diagonally across from both end and flip over the design to put on a piece of Whisper White. I used the Heart Punch Pack for the heart in the middle and added a sentiment from Gumball stamp set and a ribbon tucked behind it. 6/28/2022 - CASEing the Catty Sunday Challenge - Windmill

Today’s quick card (but not sure quick to make) is using CASEing the Catty Sunday Challenge – using the favorite retiring product from Jan – June 2022 Mini Catalog. I used the Windmill Dies since it was on sales for HALF off and I thought maybe I can just create card with the dies and this is exactly what I did. All the die cuts you see here are from the dies. I used Fresh Freesia Re-Inkers with Aqua Painter for the flowers. I think I need to coordinate a little better for the colors of Windmills. 😊

6/28/2022 - Cardz 4 Guyz #299 Summer Theme - Thank You

Welcome back to another week of challenge here at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week we are doing Summer Theme card (which I help picked). When I think of summer, ice-cream and popsicles are on my list! Who wouldn’t like a ice cold treats during the hot summer day! I used two different colors to create a fun popsicles and added a fun sequins and a stick and put it on dimension. I decided to make this into a Thank You card as we don’t send out these enough for those special men in our lives. 6/27/2022 - Global Design Project/Sunday Stamps - A Card to Say Hello

Happy Monday! Today’s card is using Sunday Stamps (sketch) and Global Design Project (color) challenges. I used the 2022-2024 In-Colors DSP stack for the big panel in the middle and paired with cardstock. The flower pieces are cut out with Sending Dies and added Gold Pearls to give a pop factor for the card. I also stamped the sentiment as the same color as DSP. 6/24/2022 - TGIF/CAS/Just Add Ink - Thank You (with Shaded Summer)

Happy Friday! Today’s card is using 3 challenges (see below) and I started the card by picking Fresh Freesia as the color scheme and I stamped the floral image on the cardstock to create a tone on tone effect and decided to stamped the sentiment on Whisper White so it’s more visible. I also think it’s a little to PALE so I finished the card with White Dots toward the bottom of the card. I hope you enjoyed this card I am sharing today!

6/22/2022 - The Card Concept #178 / Freshly Made Sketches #541 - Let's Get Into The Spirit

Happy Hump Day! Now Hunter is in camp full day there are lots of time to do things around the house as well as making cards. Today’s creation is using The Card Concept and Freshly Made Sketch.  With the picture as inspiration, I decided to use Bottle of Happiness stamp set for this. I stamped the shot bottle in Pool Party and used Watercolor Pencil (Granny Apple Green) for the shading with Aqua Painter. I think I just need more practice on those. Happy Tuesday! I really enjoyed making this card and I used Atlantic Heart Sketch along with Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration. I love all the layering on this card, it truly make it pop. This is the new He’s All Men DSP and I am so glad that I got this pack by using hostess reward. The flaming BBQ grill is from the pop out pieces of DSP and I used 2 different DSP here on the card. Happy Juneteenth day! Sadly my company is open so we will have to work but it’s been a slow day and I have to submit payroll. Today’s card is using Global Design Project #348 and Inspired.Create.Challenge #119 (Color). I enjoyed all 5 In-Colors for this card and I really like Verity’s sample and decided to use it as a starting point for my card. After I finished, I wished that I moved the whole images more toward in the middle of the card, rather than up on top. Welcome back to Make My Monday and this week we are doing Coloring – any medium and it was a theme I picked! Every since I was little I enjoyed coloring books and now even as an adult, I still love it! I picked a really cute image of Llama to color with Stampin’ Blends. I paired it with the new Hostess DSP from the annual catalog. I finished the card with a very simple sentiment and layer it on top of Crumb Cake. 6/17/2022 - CASE-ing Tuesday #360

Happy Friday – for some people this is a long weekend due to Monday (Juneteenth) being a new holiday. Today I created a card using FB CASE-ing Tuesday from page 113 from the current annual catalog. I always love stripes that we can use the DSP as we all have many of those scrape pieces. I I used the colors on DSP to find a color pallet for the rest of the card. Instead of the sentiment stripe, I used a twine instead. Hope you enjoyed this card!

Welcome back to Cardz 4 Galz Challenge and this week we are making Die Cuts / Punches card and on mine, I decided to do both! I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies for the layering piece and then I used Vintage Bottle Punch for the bottle. This is a fun shaker’s card and on the back of the bottle, I used Aqua Painter with Balmy Blue Reinkers to create the water. The 2 step stamping really make the floral images fun. I made another card today – Tuesday 14^th. This card is using CAS Colours & Sketches to pair with the color challenge at Sunday Stamps. Every time when I do a color challenge, I pulled out Forever Fern for it, since I think the leaves can actually be any colors and the details affects on the stamp images are just awesome! I used the Stitched Layering Dies for the circle and finished the card with some dots.

6/14/2022 - Cardz 4 Guyz #298 Father's Day - Golf Shaker's Card

Welcome back to Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge and this week we are making Father's Day Card! Both my dad and godfather are in love with playing golf so this card is for them. I die cut out all the pieces (grass, tees, mini golf ball and golf clubs) and put them into a shaker card but sadly I think I overload the shakers and so it can hardly *shake* haha. Underneath I have a Happy Father’s Day sentiment that you can’t see (grrrr) but you get the idea. I also put a golf tee and an embossed golf card outside of the frame. I used the Mask (sorry forgot about the name of it) to create a background with sponge and use the dies to cut out the hanger and plants. Welcome back to another challenge here at Make My Monday and this week we are making Summer Fun card. For me, summer is all about eating ICE-CREAM! As Hunter gets older, all he want on a hot day is ice-cream so this card is dedicated to him! I used the punch to create the corn and also the ice-cream by punching out color cardstock and added some stamp images to give it dimension. I also added some sequins for some interest. The colors are from the current 2022-2024 In-Colors and a great way to show case these colors are using the coordinating DSP. Each strip is cut down at ¾” x 3” (since the DSP is 6 x 6 – then you can make multiple cards wit the right measurement). 6/2/2022 - Cardz 4 Galz #176 Two or more DSP - A card to say hello

Hi everyone – I am very honored and humbled to be a Design Team Member at Cardz 4 Galz – a Sister Challenge Blog for Cardz 4 Guyz. Here we will be posting every Thursday to bring you inspiration of feminine cards. Today’s challenge is use more than two Designer Series Paper and as you can see, I used a varieties of the DSP strips from Sunshine and Rainbow DSP. It may be hard to see but the rainbow is actually from a DSP as well and I just die cut out the shape of the rainbow and put it on top of paper. 6/1/2022 - The Male Room #163 Tag - Suite and Die Tag

Hi everyone – I am very honored and humbled to be a Design Team Member at The Male Room. This is a monthly challenge to create masculine card so I hope you will like my creation and join us at the challenge. My contribution for this month Tag challenge is a tag that I’ve created using the Suite and Tie dies from Stampin’ Up (retired). I pulled some Designer Series Paper and use the dies to cut out all the elements of a shirt and suite and the base is a Whisper White cardstock as a dress shirt.
