8/21/26 - Alphabet Challenge (I for Insects) - Fern & Floral Card with Butterflies

Summer is coming to an end - I am so sad!! Today at Alphabet Challenge we have I for Insects, and I made a card that has Butterflies on it since I don't really have any other insects stamp sets. This is a quick and easy way if you want to make a different kind of fold - easy flap card. You just take your standard card base and cut at 1 1/4" from both sides to the scoring line and adhere both of side of the panels, leaving the one in the middle to open. DSP - 4 x 4 3/4", cut at 1", 2 3/4", so you have 2 pieces of 1" x 4.

8/20/26 - Pick 3 Challenge #8 / Cardz 4 Galz #283 (Kraft/Blue) - Pop Up Petal Card

Hi crafters! Today's card is shared at Cardz 4 Galz (Kraft/Blue) and Pick 3 (Polka Dots/Triangle/Stamping) Challenges. I stamped the vase in Early Espresso and also colored in the sunflower with crumb cake. The flowers are with Azure Afternoon. The whole card is used with different shades of blues. 8/18/26 - Cardz 4 Guyz #389 Hot Air Balloon - Collage Hot Air Balloon

Welcome back to our monthly challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz and this month we are making Hot Air Balloon. Instead of card I have a 3D project to share. I made this at our local library event where we made collage wooden Hot Air Balloon to hang. The bottom layer is used with nature background from magazine and the top layer I picked up the Kid Cat Club graphic books that my son likes to create this. 8/17/26 - Atlantic Hearts #695 - Boardwalk Fun Celebrate

Today at Atlantic Hearts Challenge, I turned the sketch into an easy fun fold card! Did you also see that I made it into a horizontal card?! The card base is just a quarter of a card stock (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") with a DSP, the flap is 3 1/2" Wide by 4 3/4: and score at 1/4" so it adhered on the back of the card base. From there, you just simply decorate it as you wish. As you can see, the flap and the below DSP are 2 different designs. Since it's still kind of summertime - I used the Ferris Wheel to remind me how fun it was to ride on it. I used 3 different colors for the carts! 8/15/26 - Sparkle Challenge #203 (Animals) / The Creative Crafter #103 (ATG) - Woodland Animals

Today's card is shared at both Sparkle Challenge (Animals) and The Creative Crafter (ATG), and both are posting on this wonderful Saturday near the Chicagoland area. I created a cute and simple Christmas animal card that we will be making in my card class near the future. The images are colored in with Stampin' Blends and I used the markers so the bear bear has something to stand on (water or snow?!). 8/10/26 - Make My Monday #284 Boardwalk / Girlz Rebel #55 ATG Washi - Ferris Wheel card with Wobbler

Happy Monday and today I am the host at Make My Monday and we are making Boardwalk theme card. This card is also a DT card shared at Girlz Rebels for Anything Goes. I created a fun Ferris Wheel with a wobble card. I wanted to do a spinner card but only have those wobbles on hand so wanted to see if that works too, and it does! I cut out the Ferris Wheel in White and Black, in between put a wobble. The palm trees are color with Stampin' Blends, and I used 3 different color of cardstocks for the carts. I love how this card turned out and can't wait to see your creation!

8/7/2026 - Alphabet Challenge (H for Horticulture) - Simply Leaves with 2026-2028 In-Colors

 Happy Friday - how is it possible that we are in August already! Today at Alphabet Challenge, we are doing H for Horticulture, and I decided to make some leaf card. I used the new and current 2026-2028 In-Colors and stamp the different pattern of leaves and layer them on top of each others. This bundle is really awesome since you can punch out the leaves, and I really enjoyed the fonts of the sentiment as well. 8/6/26- Cardz 4 Galz #282 Blue Sky - Stampin' Blends with Fern & Floral

 Welcome back to our bi-weekly challenge at Cardz 4 Galz and this week's theme is Blue Sky. I used 2 pieces of scratch paper to cover the White piece and sponge the between with Crumb Cake (represent sand/floor) and Balmy Blue (represent sky). Then I die cut out the stem and flower pieces for a simple focal image and added a sentiment. I have a perfect person who will receive this card! I hope you enjoyed this creative way I shared using ink pads and blending brushes to create a sky and join us at the challenge.

8/5/26 - The Male Room #213 Jobs/Professions - Thank You card for teacher!

Happy August! Today at The Male Room we are making Jobs/Professional theme card and I am sharing a card I made for my son's 2^nd grade teacher (Mr. G) he is such a wonderful teacher and had a great influence on H. I saw and made a similar layout for this - this is a perfect card to use up your straps of DSP. I used a stack of books and of course an apple and a sentiment that we truly felt he deserved. 8/3/26 - Atlantic Hearts #693 - Just a Note

Happy Monday and we have a double header for today! One of them is Atlantic Hearts Sketch and I created a just a note card. I cut down a piece of DSP (5 x 3 3/4") diagonally and them flip over the side that I want to show, but since it is double-sided DSP, you can now see both sides! I added a ribbon and punch out the sentiment. I hope you enjoyed this creation and please join us at the challenge.

8/3/26 - A Place to Start August 2026 (Anything Goes, Optional Twist No Rectangle) - Opened Easel Arch Card

Happy August and welcome back to A Place to Start - this month we are making ATG - No Rectangle card! I saw a really cool Arch Card Tutorial and decided to give it a try. I went with Friendly Foliage Bundle. This card does take a while to make - there are lots of die cutting of the Arch Dies and setting up the card. 8/2/26 - Dragonfly Challenge August 2026 (Seaside/Beach) - Summer Splash Notes & Tote Beach Bag card

Happy Sunday and Happy August! Today at Dragonfly we are making Beach/Seaside card and I created a beach theme card - using Notes & Totes Dies! I created a beach bag, with die cut water bottle, sunblock, sunglasses and bottle of lotion. I made it into a monotone with Summer Splash color (2024-2026 retired in-colors). 8/1/26 - Moving Along With Times #192 (Female)- Fern & Floral

Welcome August! We started off the month at Moving Along with Time with a female theme card. I saw a really cute layout at Pinterest and decided to CASE it. This will probably be the card we are going to make at my monthly class. I used the colors I normally wouldn't use for the ferns and the white piece is embossed.
