Happy Friday - Today's card is using 2 challenges - TGIF & CAS(E) this Sketch! These 2 are my favorite challenge site and I am very thrilled to be able to combine them together. I decided to use the current SU Mini Catalog paper and the related suite items for this card. For the heart paper doily, I use my exacto knife to cut out the heart and pop it on dimensional and then the sentiment are also added onto the mini dimensional for more layering. I really like how simple this card turned out, I hope you like it too.
Happy Hump Day! Today's card is using Tuesday Morning Sketches. When I saw this sketch, I wanted to have the images behind the 3 circles in the middle and I though We'll Walrus Be Friends will be a good stamp set to use! It took awhile to figure out what size of circle will fit in the strip of DSP and also need to figure out if the images will show up underneath the circle too. The coloring is using the SU Watercolor Pencils with Blender Pen. I decided to leave the sentiment blank outside and whenever I am ready, then I will stamp it inside the card. I hope you like this card I am sharing today.
Challenge: #539 Stamp Sets: We'll Walrus Be Friend
Today's card is using Fab Friday Sketch Challenge. I love all the DT's cards and when I saw the sketch, it reminds me of my card from 1/24/20 so I used the same colors to create another fun rainbow card using the 2018-2020 SU In-colors. The card didn't take that long to create - BUT it was sooo hard to put those little tiny dimensional on the back of the sentiment! Also, I didn't have a long enough strip to create a banner so decided to add a strip of silver glimmer paper for the banner. I hope you like this card I am sharing today!
Today's card is using two challenges - Just Us Girl Photo Week & CASE-ing Tuesday on FB. This stamp image is from one of my favorite stamp set - Butterfly Wishes but for some reason I don't used it enough so I wanted to use it a little more in 2020. The image is color in with the SU markers and each butterfly's detail are just so unique. I used a lot of different elements and colors for this card and I hope you will enjoy it.
Happy Sunday - Today's card is using TGIF Challenges - CASEing from the Mini Catalog or SAB brochure. I used the Mini catalog cover card on the bottom right and re-create it to make it into a semi- Valentine's card. I paired the From My Heart DSP with the Check You Out stamp set for this cute card. I think this card is suitable for anyone since the sentiment said - Just A Little Note.
Today's card is using CAS(E) this sketch! I really like DT - Donna's card so decided to follow her lead on creating this card. This is also for Paper Craft Crew Challenge for Photo Challenge. I used the painter's tape to tape off the side and then use my SU ink pads and sponge to *color* in the area with Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo and Poppy seed Parade. Then stamped the Effie Tower Image in black and added a cute Amour sentiment to finish off this quick and easy card!
Happy Chinese New Year Eve - Today's card is using Global Design Team to CASE the designer. I love her original card with the rainbow colors and kind of wanted to do the same so I pulled out my new stamp set from the SU mini occasion catalog and went to town. The colors I choose here are the going to be retired soon 2018-2020 In-Colors. I was surprised to see that these are also the majority of the colors from the rainbow!! I kept the card pretty clean and simple and already have a recipient for this wonderful card. I can't wait to send it to her!!
Happy Hump Day - Today's card is using Freshly Made Sketch. The sketch is quite simple and I wanted to show off the new DSP I got from the current SU mini catalog. I kept the card pretty true to the sketch and very simple. All the stamped images are from Parisian Bundle. I hope you like this quick and easy card today!
Challenge: FMS419 Stamp Sets: Parisian Beauty Stamp Set
Colors: Pool Party, Petal Pink,
Paper: Whisper White, Pool Party, Parisian Blossom DSP,
Today's card is using one of my favorite challenge site - Try Stampin' on Tuesday, there is a sketch as well as a word inspiration. When I saw the word - WET, immediately I knew I want to use the Under My Umbrella Stamp Set that I just got last week from the current SU mini Catalog. I did a really quick and easy technique called Paper Piecing - where you stamped an image on the designer series paper so it has pattern on there already. I also used some retired DSP from last year. All the colors are pretty soft and subtle. I hope you like this card I am sharing today!
Happy Martin Luther King's Day, sadly I do have to work today. Today's card is using Sunday Stamps Challenge for this fun bird card. I embossed the Whisper White with the folder (leaves) and color in the bird image using watercolor pencils with Aqua Painter! The rest of the card came easy together. I used the stitched shape dies for the circle but the layering Bermuda Bay is just 2 1/2" Circle punch. Hope you like this quick card I am sharing today!
Today's card is using CASEing-Tuesday on Facebook - for 2020 Sale-A-Bration on page 15. I always love this site because they actually give you dimension of each pieces. So instead of overlapping for the designer series paper, I just lined them up straight. I used the new stamp set I just got from the current Mini Catalog. For the oval part, I decided to just go with a simple ribbon. Hope you like this card I am sharing today!
Challenge: #234 Stamp Sets: Under My Umbrella Bundle
Colors: Flirty Flamingo, Crumb Cake.
Paper: Whisper White, Real Red, From My Heart Specialty Paper
Happy Friday! Today's card is using 2 challenges: Global Design Theme Challenge and CAS Colours Sketch. The theme I decided to go with is Celebrate Friendship! This is a perfect sentiment for dear friend that may be far away but on your mind. I pulled out my newly arrived stamp set from the SU Mini Catalog and paired it with the current 2019-2021 in-colors. I also used a very fun and easy technique called Paper Piecing technique, where you stamped the image onto a designer paper and cut it out. I did that with the umbrella and the rain boots. It's hard to see but I also color in the rain boots a little bit for some dimension. I hoe you enjoy this quick and easy card today, thank you for stopping by!
Challenge: #353 & #GDP223 Stamp Sets: Under My Umbrella Bundle
I was away for business in Seattle, finally back home and opened up my new Stampin' Up orders and was so happy to be able to create again. Today's card is using Freshly Made Sketch. Love the simple sketch so I was able to have some focal point to make this card really pop. I used the Parisian Beauty Bundle along with the coordinating paper. I used the negative image of the Paris Tower and added Amour in the middle. I think this card turns out very elegant, what do you think? Thank You for stopping today!
Today's card is using TGIF Challenge. I decided to show-case the 2019-2021 in-colors DSP since I have a stash of them and need to be used. I also wanted the stamp image to showcase the in-colors too so I colored in the Thank You with the markers (although it's a little bit hard to read/see). I already have a recipient for this card so I hope she like it.
Today's card is using CAS(E) this Sketch to create a birthday card. I used the retired DSP from last year and paired it up with We'll Walrus Be Friends. The walrus is a focal point and I used the Stampin' Blends to color in the walrus in Smokey Gray & Party Pool. I also punch out glitter hearts to add some interest and I really enjoyed making this card!
Challenge: CTS#354 Stamp Sets: We'll Walrus Be Friends
Colors: Memento Black,
Paper: Whisper White, Twinkle Twinkle DSP (retired), Pool Party, Glimmer Paper
Happy Friday! It's a groggy morning here in the Chicago area. Today's card is using Fusion Winter. I had a left over piece of the half circle of DSP from a previous card so it's perfect to fit into this sketch. I am also in need to restock some of my Christmas stash so I decided to use the Snowman Season for this. This stamp set is such a great one for coloring using markers or Watercolor pencils. Hope you enjoy this card today.
Today's is Thursday and I am really excited because my folks are coming back to Chicago to stay with us for awhile to take care of Hunter, I can't wait to see them. Today's card is using Freshly Made Sketch. I needed more Birthday card for this month so that's exactly what I did with a sentiment from We'll Walrus be Friends. I love the simplicity of this layout and added a layer of the retired DSP to make it pop a little. The daisy is on a dimension with a little retired Dots for some shimmer effects. I hope you like the card I am sharing today.

Happy Wednesday! Today's card is using Try Stampin' Or Not On Tuesday Sketch Challenge! I always love a good sketch and for today, I wanted to use a stamp set that I haven't inked up for awhile called Butterfly Wishes. There is a floral/branch images that's very whimsical and I think it's perfect for this. I also added a birthday sentiment as I have so many friends birthday in January so this will be for sure one to send off to them. Hope you enjoy this card today.
Tuesday - Today's card is using Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. When I saw this sketch, I knew I want to use Daisy Lane stamp set and coordinating punches for this! I used two difference sizes of the daisy and layer them together to add some dimension. The fern is stamped on Whisper White with Garden Green - which is a new color I just add into my stash! I already have a recipient in mind for this card so I hope she will like my creation!
Another Monday - I made a very quick and easy card today using the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge. The simple layout always give me a little hard to create something because you can keep it simple or you can go all out and make it extra special. I decided to keep it quick and simple but just cutting out the Hummingbird from the DSP and also use the DSP to be one of the layer. I also embossed the Terracotta Tile with an embossing folder. Then I added a quick sentiment and with some trim and voila, here is a birthday card ready at your finger tip! I hope you like this card I am sharing today!
Happy Friday! Today's card is created for The Paper Fun Challenge - Anything Goes with Optional Twist: Friendship. It's also using a sketch from FB CASE-ing Tuesday. I wanted to do more watercoloring / coloring this year so I pulled out an image I can color from Free As A Bird stamp set. I used the blender pen to make sure the coloring smooth out itself so you can't see any lines. I finished the card with a cute ribbon and a sentiment that's suitable to give to a friend! I hope you like this card I am sharing today!
Happy 2020!! I hope everyone had a great New Year celebration. For me, sadly it's back to work. Today I want to share a batch of cards I made few days ago. Since the new Occasion Catalog is coming out tomorrow - 1/3/2020, I need to use up some of my retired Christmas Paper and build back my inventories. These 4 cards are following a card I designed last month and I thought it's a great way to use up / show case the designer paper. I will be placing an order soon for some new goodies from the 2020 Occasion Catalog then I will have more new *toys* to play with!
