Hi Everyone – Happy Saturday! Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Less is More and this week we are making A for Automobile card! I pulled out my favorite die – Tree Lots and there is a camper image that I just love and perfect for this challenge. I cut 2 colors of cardstock and then layer Whisper White for the window. 4/28/2023 - Amazing You

Happy Friday! It’s been a week since I made a card so I wanted to ease back into it and this is such an easy card to make using the *Amazing Thanks* dies that is currently on sale on SU website. The big, bold die cut made it easy to create any quick and easy card. You can also paired this die with any existing stamp set you have. I entered this card at Just Add Ink (Large Letters) & TGIF (for a special lady). Have a great weekend!

4/24/2023 - Make My Monday #199 Flower - Hello There

Hello – welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Make My Monday and this week we are making Flower Card. The weather has been strange here at Chicagoland area but finally getting better, hopefully spring is just around the corner. Today’s card I used the Sunflower dies as it’s going to retire by the end of the month and it’s been a favorite of mine. I used the darker yellow (crushed curry) for the top layer and lighter yellow for the bottom. I also cut out an extra piece of Early Espresso and leafs from Evening Evergreen. The sentiment is from another stamp set but I love the inlay underneth the In-Colors DSP. I hope you enjoyed my creation and be sure to join us at the challenge.

4/21/2023 - Song Bird - A Little Note of Thanks

Hello – before I head out of town for business and won’t be able to craft, I wanted to get some creation in if I can. Today’s card is using CASE-ing Tuesday on FB and As You Can See It (colors) and Daring Cardmaker (Birds of Feather). I finally used the hostess reward and got this stamp set for free and can finally use it! The bird is stamp using Rock & Roll technique to get the green on it and the bottom of the card looks empty so decided to stamp some leaves with the color provided. 4/20/2023 - Cardz 4 Galz #197 Cocktails - Brewed for You Mocktails

 Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Cardz 4 Galz and this week we are making Cocktail card! I have Brewed for You stamp set but I couldn’t figured out a way to make it into more of a girly card, then I saw a wonderful example from Pinterest of a mocktail card and thought, what a wonderful idea! I am not a big drinker so I am just being creative with the color combo to create the most beautiful drinks! I finished the card by adding some bubbles and each glass is cut out with the dies. 4/18/23 - Cardz 4 Guyz #320 Dry/Wet Embossing - Rugged Icon

Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week we are doing dry/wet embossing folder! I decided to go with dry embossing and used my Subtle 3D embossing folder for the Whisper White Piece. I also used As You See It Sketch challenge for this card. I bought a new die from Stampin’ Up retiring list and decided to use it. I used Early Espresso for the outlined of this scenery and then die cut out each color cardstock to layer. Happy Monday everyone! Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Atlantic Hearts Sketch and this week I made it a beautiful and bright flower card! I used this really fun paper pattern to look like strips of the sketch and added a quick Yay sentiment that you can stamp anything inside to match it – It’s your birthday, Congrats, Happy For You….etc. The flowers are created with the retired dies that I just can’t seem to let go! I pulled out this retired die called Floral Square for this quick and simple card. I cut out the basic die from Whisper White and then with DSP I die cut the flower and the stems. Happy Friday – I’ve been in a rut and just can’t seem to get my creative juices flowing. I tried to make few cards but they didn’t turned out the way I wanted it. I used few challenges here today to get it going. Still doesn’t feel like it’s my best work but hopefully it’s a starting point for me. The layout is from TGIF Friday, Just Add Ink for choose 2 (wall/garden) and Daring Cardmakers for theme. I decided to use the retire colors – Pacific Point as well as the Planets for you dies. 4/11/2023 - CASE-ing Tuesday #403/ Retro Rubber Challenge #204 - Just a Note

Happy Tuesday! Today’s card is using CASE-ing Tuesday Sketch and Retro Rubber Spring Scenes Challenge. The weather this week is gorgeous here in the Chicago When I think about Spring, I think about flower blooms so I decided to go with the soon to be retired Celebrate Sunflower bundle! I colored the small flower image with Stampin’ Markers and sponge the Whisper White piece with Pool Party. (BTW, Stitched Rectangle Dies is retiring!!!) Welcome back to another another bi-weekly challenge here at Make My Monday and this week we are making cards with FRAMES! I decided to create a *window* from the DSP by using the Square dies to create a box and then using the layering squares to add a frame around it. The plants and the pot are directly cut out from the Designer Series Paper so make it really easy to create a scene. As you know Sahara Sand and the Plentiful Planets are retiring soon so I decided to showcase it here as well. 4/9/2023 - There's a Stamp for That Challenge - A Little Note of Thanks with Song Bird

Happy Sunday! I found a new FB page/challenge blog called – There’s a Stamp for That Challenge and for April it’s the theme is Spring! I used another Kitchen Table Stamper’s card for inspiration. The paper is cut by using her wonder receipt into 3” x 1 ½” with DSP to create a fun colorful background. I used the new to me Song Bird stamp set for this. 4/8/2023 - Try Stampin' On Tuesday #601 - Thanks

Today’s card is very special. I’ve been watching Kitchen Stamper’s video and finally took the plunge to create one of her card and Oh My Gosh, I felled in love with it right away! All her cards are creative, used many DSP, and have so much color combo and layers that I never tried. I paired it up with one of my favorite challenge too – Try Stampin’ On Tuesday! I used the Designed a Day Dream DSP and picked the colors in there for the layering and the color combo. The only thing that’s out of the ordinary is the leaves, I used the left over from this wreath and cut it down, I can’t even remember what color is the cardstock, haha! I also just realized that this card has no stamps and used any colors! By the way, most of the items I used are retiring so be sure to check out the Last Chance List and place your order!

TGIF!!! Today’s card is using Tuesday Morning Sketch! The concept is easy – just take a piece of DSP and cut it into 4 equal pieces (or the best you can due to measuring). 4/6/2023 - Cardz 4 Galz #196 Easel Card - Shaded Summer

Happy Thursday crafters! Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Cardz 4 Galz and this week we are making an Easel Card! Lately, I am totally into fun fold so I am glad that I am able to give this oldie but goodie a try! Easel card is easy to make and it is a great way to pop up your stamp/focal image so people can display it upon receiving it. The trick to make an easel card is that you will need a *stopper* so the panel can pop up and I used a strip of designer series paper for that since it added a thin layer of paper and not too bulky. I used my Stampin’ Markers to color in the image and stamped directly onto Whisper White. I found a really simple video from Jessica for your reference and I hope you will give this a try and join us at the challenge.

Happy Hump Day! I am creating today using Freshly Made Sketch & Hand Stamped Sentiments for inspiration. I cut down the DSP to 3 ¾” x 5” and just make cuts where I think it fits the sketch. I didn’t have any sentiments that fits into the box so I decided to showcase the soon to be retire Plants Dies. I used the colors from the DSP for the pots and plants. 4/5/2023 - The Male Room #173 Stencils / Dies - Suit & Tie Card

Hi fellow crafters, welcome back to another monthly challenge here at The Male Room and for April, we are making cards using Stencils or Dies. I have this wonderful retired dies from Stampin’ Up called Suit & Tie dies that I kept and use on this card. I used the dies to cut out all these pieces to create a suit card. Not sure if it is easy to see but I also dry embossed the tie with a folder to give it some texture. I hope you enjoyed this creation I am sharing today and be sure to join us at the challenge!

4/3/2023 - Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #519 - Sending Cheers

Hi everyone – welcome back to another weekly challenge here at Atlantic Hearts Sketch and this week we are making Step Card! I created one before and now I found a new template to use (from France Martin) I stamped the narrow bottle first and then stamp the leaves with 2 different shades of green. Then I finished the card with a bow and a sentiment. For the middle panel, you can position it anywhere you like, at the end, I decided to center it as I enjoyed how it looks. 4/1/2023 - Less is More #480 One Layer - Some Friendship

Hi everyone – welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Less Is More and this week we have color challenges – Black and Aquamarine! If you don’t have the exact blue, just use the closest one that you can find. I used Coastal Cabana from Stampin’ Up for my blue and sponge some ink and blend it onto the white cardstock. Then I adhered a silhouette black image on top of it and also a black cardstock as layering piece. I finished the card with a Thank You sentiment as you can never have too many of those.
