11/11/2023 - Less is More #496 CAS Anything Goes - Bee Mine Love You

Hi crafters, welcome back to another challenge here at Less is More and this week we are making Clean and Simple (CAS) card! What is CAS you asked? Well, it’s mostly 1 layer/no layer card with minimal stamping and embellishment and something you can definitely make in less than 3-5 minuets. I used the painter’s tape to block off a section and sponge some Balmy Blue around it. The image then is stamped with Memento Black, although I think Stazon Black might work a bit better. The images are from the new Bee Mine Bundle which will come out in January 2024 with Stampin’ Up. Hope you enjoyed this card and let’s share your creation with us!

10/28/2023 - Less is More #495 - Colour - Blue/Pink/White

Happy Saturday! Today we are making Blue/Pink/White card and this is my Less is More version! I sponge the background with Blueberry Bushel and the flower is created with Petal Pink and White cardstock. I also finished the card with a sentiment that you can use for any occasion! 9/16/2023 - Less is More #492 Alphabet (C) - Brewed For You

Happy Saturday! Today’s card with Less Is More we are making C is for Celebrate! I created a masculine card to celebrate all the dad in our lives, including mine, although he doesn’t drink beer, only my husband does! I used a die cut and created a template to sponge the background and the beer mug is using the Brewed for You bundle! Hope you can join us for this wonderful challenge!

9/2/2023 - Less is More #491 CAS - a Harvest of Blessings

Happy Saturday! Today’s card at Less is More we are making CAS – Clean & Simple card. I stamped both of the pumpkin and then did the rock and roll technique to put some other colors on the edges and the stem is punch out with Crumb Cake cardstock. 8/19/2023 - Less is More #490 Orange - Art Gallery I am thinking of you

Happy Saturday! Today’s card at Less Is More is color challenge – Orange. Sadly current Stampin’ Up only have 1 orange color – Pumpkin Pie, so I have to be a little creative. I did the stamp off or 2^nd generation stamping) to get a lighter color shade of orange for this flower. I also found an retired orange cardstock (I think it’s Grapefruit) that’s perfect as a base. I hope you will be able to  create something orange from your stash and join us at the challenge.

8/5/2023 - Less is More #489 One Layer (Photo Inspiration) - Art Gallery I am thinking of you

Happy Saturday! Today’s card is with my challenge team at Less Is More and this week we are making One Layer Card (with photo inspiration). Instead of creating the sunflower I see in the picture, I actually took the color in the background and created into my own using the color orange palette. First taped the top and bottom of the cardstock so I can use the sponge with inkpads to ink up the middle section. Then I picked the image from Art Gallery with Memento Black. Hope you like my create way with this and join us at challenge.

7/22/2023 - Less is More #488 Theme Under the Sea - Vintage Bottle for message

Happy Saturday! Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Less is More and this week we are making *Under the Sea* card and I have to be creative for this. I don’t have any sea creatures stamp set so I though this bottle punch will be perfect for message in the bottle card and buried under the sea! I used Pool Party cardstock and used Bottle Punch to do a negative and use the dome with some pearl balls. The red paper message is just using the DSP with twine. I hope you enjoyed my creative way to create a theme for Under the Sea and I hope that you will use your imagination and creativity to create one, even if you don’t have a stamp set!

7/8/2023 - Less is More #487 B for Beach - Circle Saying

Happy Saturday! Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Less is More and this week we are making B for Beach card! Sadly I don’t have any beach stamp set but when I think of beach, seashells came to mind so I used the image with lots of seashells from Circle Saying for this creation. I also just got my Inked Botanical 6 x 6 DSP and decided to use it on this creation. I colored in the seashells with different colors of markers and added an awesome sentiment. Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Less is More and this week we are making CAS – Clean and Simple card! CAS usually means lots of white space and a big image but in my case, it means simple stamping and not too many *fancy* things! I stamped the image and then used Stampn’ Markers to *thump* the other colors onto it. Then I just complete the card with a twine and a sentiment. The layering piece also has some sponging around it. 6/10/2023 - Less is More #485 Color Challenge (Black/Light Purple) - Love & Big Hugs

Hi everyone – welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Less is More and this week we have a color challenge for you using Light Purple & Black! I cut out a rectangle from a cardstock to use as a template so I can sponge it with light purple to create a background. Then I stamped the stem in black and the floral image in light purple again. 5/27/2023 - Less is More #484 Flower (One Layer) - You Are Lovely

Hi everyone – Happy Saturday! Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Less is More and this week we are making one layer flower card! During the retiring time for Stampin’ Up, I snatched up Art Gallery stamp set at discount because I wanted the sentiment as well as using Gilded Leafing technique so here it is!! I stamped the bold image in Mint Macaroon and then the detail with Versamark and Heat & Sticking powder and then added the gold flakes. I love the result and it is a great simple way to add some texture for a very quick and simple card. I hope you enjoyed the card I am sharing today and be sure to join us at the challenge.

5/14/2023 - Less is More #483 Theme Spring - Hello

Hi Everyone – Happy Mother’s Day weekend! Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Less is More and this week we are making Spring (theme) card and this is what I came up with! I used one of the *square* dies of floral image with a green cardstock and then cut out small flower pieces with red cardstock. To finish the card I added some dots in the middle of the flowers. Hi Everyone – Happy Saturday! Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Less is More and this week we are making A for Automobile card! I pulled out my favorite die – Tree Lots and there is a camper image that I just love and perfect for this challenge. I cut 2 colors of cardstock and then layer Whisper White for the window. 4/1/2023 - Less is More #480 One Layer - Some Friendship

Hi everyone – welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Less Is More and this week we have color challenges – Black and Aquamarine! If you don’t have the exact blue, just use the closest one that you can find. I used Coastal Cabana from Stampin’ Up for my blue and sponge some ink and blend it onto the white cardstock. Then I adhered a silhouette black image on top of it and also a black cardstock as layering piece. I finished the card with a Thank You sentiment as you can never have too many of those. 3/18/2023 - Less is More #479 One Layer - Some Friendship

Hi everyone! I am excited to be on Less is More – A clean and simple card challenge Design Team member! Every other week we will have fun challenges for you that I hope you will join me there. This is our first challenge of 2023 and it’s One Layer Card with Anything Goes, so I’ve created a simple friendship card for you. I used the cut out Rectangle Dies as a mask and sponge the space with Pale Papaya and then stamped the floral image along with sentiment in Evening Evergreen. This is such a fun and simple technique for you to try and you can also color in the flora image if you want.
