2/7/24 - My Time To Craft #553 Hearts - Just Because with Timeless Plaid & Heart Shaped

Happy Friday and welcome back to our first challenge in February and Hearts are the theme! I challenged myself to use this chance to make a suitable masculine love card. Each stripes of DSP is cut at 1” x 3 ½”, the layering white piece is 3 ¾” x 5 (from another creator) but I think 4 ½” makes more sense and better spacing between the cards. The heart shaped wreath is cut with Misty Moonlight and I added a strips of sentiment so the heart doesn’t get lost in the DSP. I added some sequins to finish the card. I hope you enjoyed this card I am sharig today and be sure to join us at the challenge.

I am also submitting this card to Tic Tac Toe challenge #263 - using Heart, Designer Paper and Sentiment. Who says that heart shape anything need to be red, I think the wreath is also perfect with any colors that matches the cardstock and DSP!

I am also submitting this card to Just Us Girls challenge #761 for the Heart Shaped Die / wreath. (but i wanted to check - is Just us girls meant to create ony cards for girls or it just meant the DT members are all girls?)

  3. Your combination of patterned papers is a wonderful background for your pretty vine heart. We're called Just Us Girls because, as you noted, we're an all-gals team. We welcome both feminine and masculine cards as long as they fit the challenge theme. Hope that helps. Thank you for sharing your card in the Just Us Girls gallery.
