5/26/25 - Atlantic Hearts Sketch #631 - Pretty Florals with Gate Fold Top Flap card

This week at Atlantic Hearts Sketch I have a fun fold card that resembles the card sketch we have! I found a video by Julie D (around 35 min mark and onward) called a Gate Fold with Top Flap card that works perfectly for our sketch. I decorated the front piece with the beautiful DSP and the dies from Pretty Floral Dies using the colors that I used on the card. Cardbase – 11” x 4 ¼” and score at 1” and 2 ¾” on each side (or 8 ¼” and 10”)
Flip Cardbase – 3 ¼” x 8 ½” score at 4 ¼”
DSP for Flip Cardbase – 3” x 4”
DSP for inside to lineup Flip cardbase – 1” x 4” x 2 pieces
DSP for outside – 4” x 1 ½” x 2 pieces

5/22/25 - The Card Concept #217 - Double Z Fold Card for Year of Flowers

Today’s card is with The Card Concept Challenge #217 (Patriotic Décor). It’s hard when you need to come up with a Red/White/Blue card that is not for 4^th of July or Memorial Day. I wanted to challenge myself so this is what I came up with. I saw a Double Z Fold Tutorial and wanted to give it a try (Yes, I am in the fun fold land lately!). Tami White had a tutorial and I followed her easy instructions for this Happy Birthday card. It’s easy to make so I will definitely try with other bundles in the future!

Balmy Blue Card Base: 11” x 4-1/4” scored at 2-3/4” & 5-1/2”
Night of Navy: 3” x 9” scored at 3” & 6”
DSP for Balmy – 5 ¼” x 4” (x1) 2 ¾” x 4 (x2)

5/21/25 - Sunday Stamps #360 - Split Panel for Pretty Floral

Today’s card is using Sunday Stamps Color Challenge. I’ve been in the mood to make fun/easy folds so I haven’t done this one (split panel) in a while so glad to be able to find a challenge for it. Cardbase is 11” x 8 ½” and score at 4 ¼”. Depending on how big you want the panel to be, you can cute down to the size of liking. For me. I make a cut at 1 ¼” so I can use the middle panel piece for the center. Per color challenge, I added a flower with Night of Navy and Balmy Blue for the challenge. 5/19/2025 - Make My Monday #252 Garden - Florals in Bloom Bundle

Hi everyone! Welcome back to our challenge here at Make My Monday and this week the theme is Garden. When I think of garden, beautiful flowers of course came to mind so I used the new bundle from the Stampin’ Up catalog, Floral in Blooms for this card. The stamp set are 2 stemps so the lighter color is always used for the bigger images and I used Cajun Craze for the details. I pulled Year of Flowers and used the sentiment from there. 5/16/25 - My Time To Craft #560 Square - Wildly Flowering Square Card

Hi everyone! Welcome back our unique shapes series at My Time to Craft and this week we are making Square Card! I don’t normally like to make *not standard* card but up for the challenge for sure, beside, I can mail this card to my SS. I saw a tutorial from Wendy C on youtube and I think I accidentally did the scoring on the side incorrectly but it is still okay! I used Wildly Flowering DSP and the dies from Thankful Garden. It’s really cute that you can create a belly band for it so it stays down. I hope you will give this card a try and join us at the challenge.

5/15/25 - Cardz 4 Galz #250 Things with Wings - Butterly Accents with Mediterranean Blooms DSP

Happy Thursday and today at Cardz 4 Galz the theme is Wings and I went with butterfly. I have some Butterfly Paper Accents left from the previous catalog stash so perfect for this challenge. The card is made using DSP to showcase both sides of our wonderful paper. The cardstock is 5 ½” x 5 ½” score at 4 ¼”. The DSP is 4” x 5 ¼” and the strips of DSP on the side is 1” x 5 ¼”. I sponge the paper butterfly with Yellow Inkpad and the background is Balmy Blue. Hope you enjoyed this card and a different way of card fold and join us at the challenge.

5/15/2025 - Sparkles Challenge #188 Flowers - Thankful Garden Bundle

Hi crafters! Welcome back to Sparkles Monthly Challenge and this month we are doing Flowers, which is perfect for May! I used the Online Exculsive from last release from Stampin’ Up for the challenge. I also went with the blue color scheme. I saw a really fun tutorial and decided to give it a try for the layout. It maybe hard to see but I also stamped the leafs image on Night of Navy. The bundle is from Thankful Garden and I did the coloring with Blending Brush and the coordinating mask!
