1/9/20 - Freshly Made Sketch - It's your birthday

Today's is Thursday and I am really excited because my folks are coming back to Chicago to stay with us for awhile to take care of Hunter, I can't wait to see them. Today's card is using Freshly Made Sketch. I needed more Birthday card for this month so that's exactly what I did with a sentiment from We'll Walrus be Friends. I love the simplicity of this layout and added a layer of the retired DSP to make it pop a little. The daisy is on a dimension with a little retired Dots for some shimmer effects. I hope you like the card I am sharing today.

1/8/2020 - January 2020 Stampin' Up Newsletter

Hi everyone - Happy 2020!

I hope that you had a great holiday breaks and enjoyed lots of quality times with your friends and families! 

January 3, 2020 is the start of the new Mini Catalog. I know that I say this a lot but I really this catalog, there are so many bundles that I want to get and I just can't decide what DSP to get to pair them up with my bundles. My uncles and dad all played golf at one point in their life so for sure I will get the Clubhouse Bundle. I will get Parisian Beauty Bundle to create some Valentine's / Love card for February. Under My Umbrella Bundle will be great to create some spring theme cards as well as Mother's day card.

1/8/2020 - Try Stampin' On Tuesday - Birthday Wishes

Happy Wednesday! Today's card is using Try Stampin' Or Not On Tuesday Sketch Challenge! I always love a good sketch and for today, I wanted to use a stamp set that I haven't inked up for awhile called Butterfly Wishes. There is a floral/branch images that's very whimsical and I think it's perfect for this. I also added a birthday sentiment as I have so many friends birthday in January so this will be for sure one to send off to them. Hope you enjoy this card today.

1/7/2020 - Atlantic Hearts Sketch - Awesome at Any Age

Tuesday - Today's card is using Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. When I saw this sketch, I knew I want to use Daisy Lane stamp set and coordinating punches for this! I used two difference sizes of the daisy and layer them together to add some dimension. The fern is stamped on Whisper White with Garden Green - which is a new color I just add into my stash! I already have a recipient in mind for this card so I hope she will like my creation!

1/6/2020 - CAS(E) this Sketch - Happy Day

Another Monday - I made a very quick and easy card today using the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge. The simple layout always give me a little hard to create something because you can keep it simple or you can go all out and make it extra special. I decided to keep it quick and simple but just cutting out the Hummingbird from the DSP and also use the DSP to be one of the layer. I also embossed the Terracotta Tile with an embossing folder. Then I added a quick sentiment and with some trim and voila, here is a birthday card ready at your finger tip! I hope you like this card I am sharing today!

1/3/2020 - The Paper Fun Challenge - Thanks for Being You

Happy Friday! Today's card is created for The Paper Fun Challenge - Anything Goes with Optional Twist: Friendship. It's also using a sketch from FB CASE-ing Tuesday. I wanted to do more watercoloring / coloring this year so I pulled out an image I can color from Free As A Bird stamp set. I used the blender pen to make sure the coloring smooth out itself so you can't see any lines. I finished the card with a cute ribbon and a sentiment that's suitable to give to a friend! I hope you like this card I am sharing today!

1/2/20 - Let It Snow Christmas Cards

Happy 2020!! I hope everyone had a great New Year celebration. For me, sadly it's back to work. Today I want to share a batch of cards I made few days ago. Since the new Occasion Catalog is coming out tomorrow - 1/3/2020, I need to use up some of my retired Christmas Paper and build back my inventories. These 4 cards are following a card I designed last month and I thought it's a great way to use up / show case the designer paper. I will be placing an order soon for some new goodies from the 2020 Occasion Catalog then I will have more new *toys* to play with!
