Paper Players Challenge. I wanted to start using more of my new SU items. Like my previous card, I stamped the floral image in Daffodil Delight and the did the Rock n Roll technique to edge up the flowers in Pumpkin Pie. The rest is pretty easy to put together. I hope you like this quick card I am sharing today!
Happy Friday - Today's card is using CAS(E) this sketch! Finally have a chance to start using my new products from the current annual catalog. I will def. have to play with it more. The card is very quick and simple just using DSP and a stamp set. It's hard to see but I also added some rose silver thread. The whisper white is using subtle embossing folder. I hope you like the card today!
Today's card is a CASE from a youtube video I found for Daisy Lane Card. I love the layout so decided to make one for one of my recent customer! The flower is stamped with Daffodil Delight and then I used the good old Rock And Roll technique to edge the flower with pumpkin pie. The stem is Mossy Meadow and the paper is also embossed with subtle embossing folder. I really like how the card turn out. Sadly for some reason the color of the DSP looks wonky but it should be Old Olive and it's from an old pack of DSP.
Challenge Used: N/A Stamp Sets: Daisy Lane Colors: Daffodil Delight, Mossy Meadow, Pumpkin Pie Paper: Whisper White, Old Olive, Delightful Daisy DSP (retired) Others: Rectangle Stitched Framelites, Old Olive Twine, Dimensional, Subtle Embossing Folder
Today's card is using CASE-ing Tuesday - inspiration is from page 46 of the current annual catalog. I truly love our catalog because there are just so many awesome samples to CASE. This one is from the suite I got most recently so I was happy to be able to play along with. I cut out the humming bird from the DSP and layer it on top of another sheet of DSP. The only thing I didn't like is the background stamping that I did, it looks a bit wonky. I also ordered the ribbon but sadly it's still on backorder! I hope you like this quick card today!
Challenge Used: #204 Stamp Sets: Memorable Mosaic Colors: Soft Suede, Mint Macaroon Paper: Very Vanilla, Others: Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim, Dimensional
Happy Monday! Today's card is with Global Design Project. I wanted to find 3 images that fit into the sketch and the butterfly *almost* doesn't fit. I have to tug the 2 on the side underneath and put a dimensional on the middle butterfly to make that work. The whisper white is using sponge to color in to make it pop. I really like how this card turn out, I think the bright colors really pop! Hope you enjoy the card today.
Challenge Used: #GDP194 Stamp Sets: Butterfly Gala Colors: Memento Black, Pumpkin Pie, Pacific Point Paper: Whisper White, Rose Red, Basic Black, Others: Watercolor Pencils, Blender Pens, Sponge
Happy Father's Day - wishing everyone a great day from here in the Chicagoland! Today's card is using Fusion! It's very simple and straight forward so I decided to use Free As A Bird and coloring medium to create this card. I use the tone on tone effects on the cardstock - I love the subtle flower for it. I used the Stampin' Blends to color in the bird, I am still new at the blends so I will need more practice. Have a good day!
Challenge Used: Fusion Stamp Sets: Free as a Bird Colors: Daffodil Delight, Memento Black, Paper: Whisper White, Bird Ballard DSP, Daffodil Delight, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive Others: Stampin' Blends
Happy Friday - weekend is here!! Chicago weather is gorgeous today! I made a card using TGIF sketch challenge. When I saw the shape, I knew I have to use the greetings in Accent Blooms. I also use a fun technique where I used Sponge Dauber to ink up 3 colors on the greeting that are on the DSP. The card turns out pretty cute and I hope you enjoy it.

Happy Thursday - Today's sketch card is with Freshly Made Sketch. I love all the DT cards and wanted to use the 3 stripes for the sentiments and I just love it. I kept the card simple and true to the layout and use the die cut to cut out the kangaroo from the DSP. I think this card is perfect for a little boy's birthday! I hope you like the card.
Today's card is with CAS Colours & Sketches. I decided to keep it true to the sketch and used the Waterfront Stamp Set, I can't wait for summer to be here!! The card is pretty straight forward and stay with the masculine card theme. I hope you enjoy this card today!

Happy Tuesday! We were away for the weekend to Indiana and I totally missed stamping and playing with some of the new items I got from OnStage. Today's card is using Try Stampin' On Tuesday. I love this sketch and also loved how the card turn out. I used the dauber to ink up Petal Pink and then dab it onto the middle of each Dandelion. Added some dots and twine and voila, the card is finished! I hope you like this quick card I am sharing today.
Happy Thursday - Today's card is using lots of new items from the 2019-2020 Stampin' Up Annual Catalog! I still need to place an order soon to buy more fun stuff to play with but this is from the OnStage event I attended back in April. The challenge I used is Tuesday Morning Sketch and I stayed on point to everything, I think. It's hard to see but the Old Olive piece is embossed with the embossing folder. Hope you like this card I am sharing today.
Happy Hump Day! It's been a few days since I posted and I miss making card for sure. The new 2019-2020 Stampin' Up Annual Catalog is live - be sure to check out the PDF file for the catalog! Today's card is combining the new stamp set with the retired paper, as I still need to place my first order for the new catalog. When I saw this stamp set at OnStage in April, I knew I have to get it, all the images in the set reminds me of my husband so this card is for him. I stamped the image on StazOn and colored it with watercolor pencils and blender pen. I kept the card pretty simple. Oh and this card is a CASE from page 147! Hope you like this card today!
Challenge Used: CASE-ing Tuesday #202 Stamp Sets: A Few Good Man Colors: Waterolor Pencils, StazOn, Gray Granite Paper: Whisper White, Nature Poem DSP, Old Olive Others: Watercolor Pencils, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Blender Pens
Happy Sunday ! Today's card is using Fusion - Rainbow Birds. I used the sketch and *kind of* used the rainbow birds' colors by doing it on the butterfly. I used the Square Framelits to die cut out each of the square on Whisper White and put a DSP layer underneath. Then I stamped the butterfly images and punch them out and first use watercolor pencils and then Blender Pens to combine the 2 colors (Rich Razzleberry and Gorgeous Grapes) The sentiment is also using these 2 colors, although it's a bit hard to tell. Hope you like the card I am sharing today!
