6/17/2020 - CASE-ing Tuesday - Just A Note

Happy Hump Day – I got my goodies yesterday and couldn’t wait to make a card. I am using CASE-ing Tuesday on FB for this quick and simple card using the new Stampin’ Up products. This is a bundle called Posted For You and comes with a coordinating punch, which I just love! I stamped the 2 vertical images and use the Stampin’ Up markers to color it in and paired it up with the Ornate Garden DSP. I hope you enjoy this quick card I am sharing today!

6/16/2020 - Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge #247 Shaker's Card - Just floating by

Welcome back to another week at Cardz 4 Guyz for challenge #247 for shaker’s card. I always love to make shaker’s card but it’s definitely a little time consuming and you need to make sure you have the right products to make one. I decided to go with the retired We’ll Walrus Be Friends stamp set for a hello card. I stamped the image first and then color in with the Stampin’ Markers and the gold boarder is created using the Layering Square Dies. I made sure the window sheet and clean and added the foam strip around it so it can be pop up and added some sequins. This is such a cute card to make and the recipient will be happy to receive it too! I hope you can join us at the challenge and be sure to check out everyone’s creation.

6/11/2020 - Fusion - A Sweet Friendship

Happy Thursday – Today’s card is using Fusion Card Challenge – both with sketch and photo inspiration. I kept the card pretty clean and straight forward. I didn’t want the branch to overpower the butterflies so I stamped it in Memento black and the two larger butterflies are stamped in the lighter colors first and then used the sponge dauber to edge up the edges to give it more dimension. All the colors are from the 2019-2021 in-colors. Thank you for stopping by today.

6/10/2020 - CASE-ing Tuesday - Birthday Bonanza

Thank you to my crafting friend – Tobe, for letting me borrow her Birthday Bonanza Suite to play with. It’s such an adorable stamp set but gosh, it takes awhile just to create one card because of all the die cutting and layering stamping you have to do but for sure the result is worth it. I think the background DSP might be a little bit too busy but I gotta use up some of those DSP too, right? I hope you enjoy this quick card today and I’ve submitted the card with CASE-ing Tuesday on FB page.

6/9/2020 - The Paper Player & Global Design Project - Hello Sunshine

Happy Tuesday – Today’s rainbow card is created using the retired 2018-2020 In-Colors. These colors are great for rainbow type of card. I cut all the stripe down to 0.5 inches and adhere on the scratch paper first to make sure they all lined up. Then the rainboots are stamped with Memento Black the color in with the markers. I still like how it turned out but to be honest, I think the *IDEA* of the card in my mind is better than the actual creation. I cut down the front panel a little bit and all the rainboots are stashed on to of a rectangle Whisper White. Hope you enjoy this fun card today.
