11/25/19 - The Paper Players - Merry Christmas

Happy Tuesday - Today's card is using The Paper Player Challenge. I can't believe that Thanksgiving is this Thursday and December is just around the corner, I am still working on my Christmas cards! I used the sketch to make a Christmas card today and I think this is a good layout to duplicate any cards you might be making. I stamped and then punch out the snowman and put the sentiment right on the card base. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, everyone!

11/22/19 - CAS(E) this Sketch & TGIF Challenge - Very Merry

Happy Friday - wooh wooh - I made cards 5 days straight! Today's card is using CAS(E) This Sketch (Sketch) & TGIF Challenge (Technique). I dry embossed vellum as a layer and put the Let It Snow DSP with it. The snowman image piece is always cut out from the DSP from that pack, to make this such a quite and easy card to create. I added a sentiment and punch it out with Label Punch. I hope you can see the glitter on the Snowman - so adorable! Hope you enjoy this quick card today and have a wonderful weekend!

11/21/19 - TSOT 434 - Thanks for Being there for me

Today's card is using Try Stampin' On Tuesday challenge. I always love a good sketch and this one stood out to me. I wanted to use Friend Like You since this stamp set doesn't get inked much from me and I was also looking for a quick and easy card and this is just perfect. The floral image I use the marker to color in with Mint Macaroon and Lovely Lipstick and the grass is with Mossy Meadow. I love the Lovely Lipstick layering, it really make the image pop. The Whisper White is embossed with a folder and the DSP is from last Occasion Catalog. I hope you like this card I am sharing today. This is a good sketch to help you to create any cards.

11/20/19 - CASE-ing Tuesday - Relax Your Way!

Happy Hump Day - today's weather here is still cold but at least there are sunshine! The card I am sharing today is using CASE-ing Tuesday on Facebook page from 2019 Holiday Catalog page 51. I decided to make the regular size card with horizontal orientation. Instead of making a Christmas card, I pulled out The Good Man stamp set and create this card. The coloring is using Stampin' Up Markers and the DSP is from last year (retired). Love how quick and easy this card came together. I hope you enjoy the card today.

11/19/19 - The Paper Player & Global Design Project - Snowman

Today's card is using The Paper Players Theme Challenge and Global Design Project. The theme is North Pole so I decided to use the snowman image. The sketch is CASEing a designer and instead of a vertical layout, I switched it to horizontal. I used the Snowman Suite Bundle to create this card (stamp, paper and punch). This time instead of punch out the snowman, I only did the hat and color it in using our SU markers. I used Shaded Spruce for the tone on tone effects on the cardstock. I am making lots of Christmas cards these days, hopefully I will have enough to mail by Xmas time! Thank You for stopping by today!

11/18/19 - Just Add Ink & TGIF - So Thankful

Happy Monday - my sister-in-law was here from FL this past weekend to visit us so I didn't have much chance to head into the craft room. I am glad that I found 2 challenges for the card I am sharing today. One is Just Add Ink and One is a theme challenge from TGIF. I used a fun technique called Rock and Roll to edge up the leafs and I really like how it turned out. I hope you like this card I am sharing today!

Today's card is def. in the quick and easy category. I used the Freshly Made Sketch to create this fun card. The suite is from the Snowman Bundle and I used the Stitched Framelits for the circle and Watercolor Pencil with Blender Pens for the coloring. Hope you like this card.

11/12/19 - TGIF - Your Friendship

Another cold day here!! I took Hunter to his class this morning and it was COLD!! Today's card is using TGIF Sketch Challenge! I love the layout and It's another way to use up lots of DSP, I think it is also a great layout for The Merion Senior Living Card Class. I stamped the 2 floral images and color them in with Watercolor Pencils and then I used Aqua Painter to blend them in a little bit. This card came together pretty quickly and I hope you will give it a try! Have a good Tuesday and stay warm!

11/11/19 - CASE-ing Tuesday - Let It Snow

Snow day here in the Chicagoland area! Today's card is using CASE-ing Tuesday and again, I always love this FB page where they give out the dimension so I can have something to work off from, of course you can modify to fit your card as well. The DSP is cut at 4 x 5.25 and the whisper white is using the stitched rectangle dies. I used the Watercolor Pencils to color in the snowman image and the sentiment is in Coastal Cabana. I also lightly used Basic Gray to color in the snowman and also blue to color in the snow. I hope you like this card I am sharing today!

11/8/19 - CAS(E) This Sketch - Merry Christmas

Happy Friday - it's extremely cold here in the Chicago area! Today's card is using CAS(E) This Sketch! I decided to make the card horizontally because I accidently cut the stitched rectangle too big and it would just look strange vertically. I stamped the snowman image in the middle and stamped the stars image in Coastal Cabana around the rectangle. I added a sentiment from one of my favorite, retired stamp set! 11/7/19 - Fusion - Let It Snow

Today's card is using Fusion Sketch. I continue to use my new Snowman Bundle to create Christmas cards. I used the Stitched Nested Labels for the middle oval shape of the sketch. For the circle shape, I used the Snowman image for it and put in a fun sentiment in the middle, next to the snowman. I really like how this card turn out, and I hope you do too. 11/6/19 - Freshly Make Sketch - Hoping This Season......

Today's card is using Freshly Made Sketch challenge. I love all the DT member's card so I gather some of their creation and put my own spin on it. I used my new Snowman Bundle for this card. The paper is from the same suite and I think they compliment each other very well. To create the hat, I punched out the hat first in basic black and then on whisper white as well and trim it down just for the edge. Then I used the watercolor pencils to color it in Melon Mambo. The hand is using crumb cake. I hope you like this card I am sharing today!

11/4/19 - Sketch Saturday & The Paper Players - Let It Snow

We had a great time celebrating my mom's bday yesterday. Today's card is using Sketch Saturday and The Paper Players (Theme - into the wood). I decided to use the new stamp set I just rec'd the other day - Snowman Season. I've been eyeing this bundle for awhile and finally took the plunge when SU was having the 24 hours stamp set sales. The card is made true to the sketch but instead, I switched the orientation to a vertical card so the snowman image will fit. I used the markers to color in the snowman and I really like how this turned out. I hope you have a great week too.
