6/8/2020 - Make My Monday #124 Summer Activities - Greatest Guy

Welcome back to another week of Make My Monday! Today’s card theme is Summer Activities and immediately I thought of golf. I used to work at a golf course in Taiwan and during summer time, people start golfing as early as 5am or even 430am and it used to kill me to have to wake up that early! I used the retired Stampin’ Up items to create this fun golf card. Everything from this card is from the same suite, it’s hard to see but the golf ball is actually embossed too with texture, which I thought was really cool. I made it into a masculine card for a customer that’s in my Monthly Card Subscription Club. I hope you enjoy this card today and be sure to check out everyone’s creation!

6/7/2020 - Just Add Ink & CAS(E) this Sketch

Happy Saturday! Another beautiful day here in Chicagoland. Todays’ card is using 2 challenges – Just Add Ink (F for Flower) and CAS(E) this Sketch. The theme for this card is flower and I decided to use Daisy Lane stamp set to create this card. If you look closely, I stamped the petal in Flirty Flamingo first and then I did the rock and roll method to edge up the edges of the petals only. I love how it created a pinkish color in the middle. The DSP is the Valentine’s DSP but it sure worked on this card. Hope you enjoy this quick card I am sharing today.

6/4/2020 - Freshly Made Sketches - Hello Sunshine

Ah, can’t wait for this week to be over. Today’s card is using Freshly Made Sketch. I am still working on my new 2020-2021 annual catalo order so still playing with some old stuff. I used the Parisian DSP and use both stamp set that has Daisy image it in (although I just use the medium daisy) the card is pretty straight forward to put together and I am truly just keeping it clean and simple. I hope you enjoy this card today!

Welcome back to another monthly challenge here at The Paper Funday Challenges. Today's digital image is from Keepin' It Kawaii on Esty - Anything Goes with Twist: Masculine. These images are wonderful that you can just print and use them on the cards right away and no need to even color it in. I decided to keep it pretty simple and straight forward and without any sentiment. 6/2/2020 - TGIF & Try Stampin' On Tuesday - It's Your Day

Today’s card is using 2 challenges – Try Stampin’ Or Not On Tuesday (Sketch) and TGIF (Vellum). I am definitely trying to use up my soon to be retired DSP since I still have so many, ahhhhh. The coloring is done with Stampin’ Markers and the greeting is stamped on the vellum, be sure to let it dry as it does take a while. I stamped one of the umbrella image on the DSP to add some design to it. Hope you like this card I am sharing today!

6/2/2020 - Cardz 4 Guyz Father's Day Card - Happy Father's Day

Hello there, welcome back to another week at Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge – Father’s Day Card. Can’t believe that June is here and we’ve been Shelter In Place for a good 2+ months now. I design today’s card with my dad in mind. I wanted to use Country Club one last time before jumping into playing with my new Stampin’ Up products. The DSP is cut down to 3 ¼” by 4 ½” and the Whisper White Layer is just ¼” bigger on each side. The clubs are die cut out and color in with the Stampin’ Blends and there is also a die cut for the greeting. Lastly I used the die cut for 3 embossed golf balls and put it around the card. 6/1/2020 - Just Add Ink - For You

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, I sure did and now it’s back to the grind again. Today’s card is using Just Add Ink for the sketch challenge. Since I only have about 15 min to make a card so this is what I came up with. I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut out the DSP and the layer it on top of the cardstock and cut out the hanging pieces. I used the Heart Doily as my main focus and cut out the heart inside. Since the doily came in 2 different colors, I just swap the inside of the heart. I added a quick sentiment to finish this card. Remember tomorrow is the last day to purchase any retiring items and the Heart Doily is on sales!
