7/8/2020 - CASEing the Catty Sunday - Happy Birthday

Today’s card is using CASEing the Catty Sunday Challenge – on page 130 of the current annual catalog. It’s hard to see but the border of the DSP is actually raised up by dimensional and I used Foam Adhesive instead since the border is too thin (next time if I make this card I again, I would remember to leave a larger border). I colored in the floral image using the colors on DSP and cut out the outline of the sentiment and adhere onto the circle piece. I really like how this card turned out and really enjoy making this.

7/7/2020 - TGIF Challenge - Inspiring Iris

It’s been awhile since I did a color challenge so today’s card is using TGIF Challenges for it. I stamped the background with Granny Apple Green and the Inspiring Iris is using all the colors and I paired it up with the retired DSP. This card came together pretty quickly so it’s a good one to make multiples. I hope you enjoy the card today.

7/6/2020 - Make My Monday #126 Stars and/or Stripes - You Do a Great Job

Welcome back to another week of Make My Monday! Today’s challenge is using Stars and/or Stripes and I decide to go with the stripes on the designer series paper! I wanted to make a card for my husband for Father’s Day (I know, 2 weeks ago) and this is what I came up with. The image is stamped with Stazon and color in with Stampin’ Up Watercolor Pencils along with Blender Pen to smooth out the line. The sentiment is heat embossed with Black Embossing Powder on the vellum. We also wrote a really nice message to him, of course! I hope you enjoy this card I am sharing today and be sure to check out everyone’s creation and join in on the challenge.

7/4/2020 - CASEing Tuesday - Let's Celebrate You

Happy Fourth of July! Today's card is using FB page - CASE-ing Tuesday, for the sample on page 82 of the current annual catalog! I decided to make it into a birthday card using Birthday Banaza that I borrowed from my crafty friend, Tobe. I really enjoyed this stamp set but it sure takes a lot of stamping to create a scene. The gift boxes are using different colors and the twocan is the easiest animal to stamp on because there is no mult-colors to use. I pop up the bird on dimensional to give it more of the layering. Hope you enjoy this card and have a great 4th of July!!

7/3/2020 - CAS Colours & Sketches & Festive Friday - Happy Birthday

Hi everyone – today’s challenge is with CAS Colours & Sketches and also Festive Friday! I rarely do color challenges because I am just not good at creating a card with my stamp sets using a particular set of colors but after seeing some awesome samples from the DT – I wanted to give it a try. The card I came up with use some of the new Stampin’ Up products. The flower is color in with Balmy Blue Watercolor Pencils and the pink is with Flirty Flamingo.  I used the Blender Pens to smooth out the lines. For Festive Friday - the elements I used is Floral Theme, Birthday Theme, Stitching (faux), Single Image & Clean & Simple. I really like how this card turned out, soft and elegant and I think I have the perfect recipient for this card. Thank you for dropping by today.

7/2/2020 - The Spot - Thanks

Hi everyone – welcome to my blog! Today’s card is using The Spot (Sketch Challenge) – a challenge I participated for the first time! I really enjoyed DT – Jennifer’s card using the Stitched Rectangle Dies so I wanted to try that as well. I cut the DSP to 5.5” x 4 ¼” and then diagonally and then adhere it onto a Whisper White cardstock so I can run it through the Big Shot. Since the pattern of the DSP is already kind of busy with floral images, I just kept the card simple just stamping sentiment in for the middle. I really like the Ornate Thanks because you can mix and match lots of sentiment to your liking! I hope you enjoy this card I am sharing today!

Challenge: #117
Stamp Set: Ornate Thanks
Colors: Mint Macaroon, Terracotta Tile, Bumble Bee, Whisper White,

7/1/2020 - The Paper Fun Day Challenge - The Great Out Door

Welcome back to another month here at The Paper Funday Challenge – today’s card is using the twist theme – Great Out Door. Whenever I think of outdoor activities, Golf came to mine. I used to work at a golf course in Taiwan and most of my families and relatives play golf so this is a very special *sport* in my heart. I used the Country Club DSP and one of the image is golf scene and all you have to do is color in the image with whatever coloring medium you like, in this case, I used Watercolor Pencils and smooth out the line with Blender Pen. The background is showcasing all the DSP. Hope you enjoy this card today and be sure to participate in our challenge for July!
