1/29/2024 - Make My Monday #218 Use Your Pattern Paper - Bee Mine Bundle

Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here with us at Make My Monday and I am the hostess this time and we are making cards with Pattern Paper! I decided to create a shaker’s card with the Bee Mine DSP to show case Stampin’ Up’s paper is always awesome becaues it is double-sided. I also used some pearl balls with punch hearts for the shaker factor and finish the card with a cute bee and jar of honey – which is fuzzy cut out from the DSP as well! Hope you enjoyed this card I am sharing today and be sure to join us at the challenge.

1/26/24 - My Time To Craft #526 Hobbies - Crafting with You Bundle Sending You Handmade Hug

Happy Friday! I am hosting another challenge this week at My Time To Craft and this time the theme is Hobbies! What are some of your hobbies beside card making? I also enjoyed reading, hiking and playing pool. Today’s card is using the tutorial I saw from Wendy Cranford and inspiration is Pinterest from Cindy. The bundle I used is Crafting with You and I think it’s perfect for the theme! The bundle has many images that related to hobbies (Sewing, painting, and of course, paper crafting) and I used the painter related images for this. I also have some tips/tricks at cutting the paper for this cute Center Step Card if you don’t have a SU trimmer that can guide you through cutting the way Wendy Did. Hope you enjoyed this card I am sharing today and be sure to join us at the challenge.

DSP Strips – TWO 1” x 3” for the side, LONG piece is ¾” x 5 ¼”, CENTER is 3 x 2 ¾” or longer if you want it to touch the horizonal DSP

Cardstock – 5 ½” x 8 ½”

  • On 8 ½” side, score at 1”, 2” and 5 ¼” into the cardstock at 1 ¼” – this is done by both side
  • Score at 4 ¼” only in the middle.
  • On the short side, then cut from that square of 1” x 1 ¼” down to the other score line you did, 5 ¼”

1/23/2024 - Cardz 4 Guyz #339 No Balls Sports - Many Thanks with whistle

Todays’ challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz is a bit hard for me since I couldn’t find any sports related stamp set that I have so I have to be a little creative. The theme for this week is No Ball Sports and I decided to go with a whistle since some sports will need a referee and they will probably need a whistle right?! I kept the card very simple with the stamp set, ribbon and a DSP. It’s hard to see but the heart has Wink-a-Stella in it to make it sparkly. Hope enjoyed this card I am sharing today and you can also be creative and see what you come up with!

Happy Monday and welcome back to another challenge here at Atlantic Hearts Sketch and this week I created a birthday card using some new items from the 2024 Stampin’ Up Mini catalog with the sketch. The DSP I used is free from Sale-A-Bration where for every $50 you spend, you get an item from the brochure for free. The flower image is from Painted Lavender and the sentiment is from Perennial Postage and the coordinating dies. To finish the card I added a twine and some polished dots. Hope you can join us at the challenge, see ya!

Happy Hump Day! Today’s card is submitted at Inspired Create Challenge for using new items from the 2024 Mini Catalog / SAB brochure. I finally got my order so this is a perfect challenge for it. I used Filled with Happiness stamp set for this. I love how you can use the punch to punch out the inner image and make it pop by using different color of cardstock or coloring in the image. The paper is from one of the SAB offering and I added some Gems. Thanks for stopping by!

Welcome back to our first challenge of 2024 here at Sparkle Monthly Challenge and this month we are making New Beginning card! I saw cute example card from Stampin’ With Diane where she used the flower petal stamp image to create these little cute birdies at the nest to represent new babies! I thought it was so clever so I wanted to CASE it. The nest is stamped with Pecan Pie on Crumb Cake and cut out. I also used the new Perennial Postage Dies from the 2024 Mini Catalog. Hope you like the card I am sharing today and be sure to join us at the challenge.
