8/11/23 - My Time To Craft #514 Stencils - Cheerful Daisy

Happy Friday! Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at My Time to Craft and this week we are making cards using stencils. I used the negative of my dies from Split Card Texture Dies and sponge with Balmy Blue around the 4 corners of my main focal point to create a frame like image. The sunflower is sponge with Crushed Curry in the middle with vellum layering. I thought it was a bit fun to do that. 8/10/2023 - Cardz 4 Galz #205 Summer Days - Share a Milkshake bundle

Hi crafters – welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Cardz 4 Galz and this week we are making summer day card! When I think of summer, I always think of cold treats like Ice-Cream, which is also my son’s favorite in the summer. I used the Share a Milkshake bundle from Stampin’ Up to create this yummy ice cream with Pineapple and Lavender flavor! I sponged edges of the cone to give some dimension and the sentiment is perfect because it matched the cherry I put on the ice-cream. I also used Wink a Stella on the cherry to give some sparkles. 8/9/2023 - CASEing Tuesday #420 - Taco Fiesta

It’s been awhile but finally I used CASEing Tuesday to create a card using my newly arrived stamp set – Fiesta Taco, what a fun set! I’ve been eyeing this for awhile but never purchased it from the spring mini catty and finally decided to get it when closing a hostess order. I used the Ink Botanic Garden DSP for this and all the fun elements are color in with Stampin’ Markers. One thing I forgot to do is to stamp the Basic Gray background with some nachos! Oh well, hope you enjoyed this card.

8/8/2023 - Cardz 4 Guyz #328 Music Theme - Just a Note with Rugged Icon

Happy Taiwanese Father’s Day (8/8)! Today at Cardz 4 Guyz it’s my turn to host a fun challenge and we are making Music Theme card. During a big sales earlier this year, I purchased the Rugged Icons with so many awesome dies and the guitar is perfect for the challenge. I used the Split Card Texture dies to cut out a negative so I can sponge it with Old Olive/Soft Seafoam for the background and then adhere the die cut of guitar image on top of it. I found a star elements and Just a Note sentiment (get it, note!) which is perfect for this! I hope you enjoyed the card I am sharing today and be sure to join us at the challenge!

Happy Monday! Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge and I am sharing a card using my Inked Botanical DSP. I picked random paper for this and started cutting down the pieces according to the sketch but of course I needed some modification. 8/5/2023 - Less is More #489 One Layer (Photo Inspiration) - Art Gallery I am thinking of you

Happy Saturday! Today’s card is with my challenge team at Less Is More and this week we are making One Layer Card (with photo inspiration). Instead of creating the sunflower I see in the picture, I actually took the color in the background and created into my own using the color orange palette. First taped the top and bottom of the cardstock so I can use the sponge with inkpads to ink up the middle section. Then I picked the image from Art Gallery with Memento Black. Hope you like my create way with this and join us at challenge.

8/2/2023 - The Male Room #177 Dots and/or Stripes

Hi fellow crafters – welcome back to another monthly challenge here at The Male Room and this month we are making Dots/Stripe card. I love this retired He’s the Man DSP from Stampin Up so I am using the the checker side (although it’s so hard to see because of the Early Espresso). I barely did any stamping, except for the sentiment and the 2 beer glasses are just die cut. Instead of putting the yellow cardstock behind the beer glass, I intentionally put it in the front.
