5/30/2024 - Cardz 4 Galz #226 Heels/Handbags - Attention Shoppers

Welcome back to another bi-weekly challenge here at Cardz 4 Galz and this is our last challenge for May and the theme is heels/handbags! I used all the new 2024-2026 In-Colors on this card, whether it’s coloring, paper or layering. I also did a really quick paper piercing technique, where I stamped the bags on DSP and then layer on the other pieces I stamped and colored. 5/29/24 - Tuesday Morning Sketches #758 - Tune In (You're Classic)

Happy Hump Day! My folks left this morning to go back to California, hope they will  come back to visit soon. Today’s card is using Tuesday Morning Sketch for this fun retro TV card. I love the color combination I used on it (and mostly using the colors listed on DSP). Instead of symmetric of the DSP, I put both DSP at an angle, as well as the TV and the greeting. I also used mostly just the dies, except for the greeting! I will be making more cards using this bundle for sure!

5/28/2024 - Cardz 4 Guyz #348 Beverages - Latte Love Thanks so much

Hi crafters, thank you for stopping by to check out my creation for Cardz 4 Guyz challenge and this week we are making beverages card. I decided to use the Latte Love bundle for this – so for any coffee lover out there, this is for you! I used the Perennial Postage Dies to cut out for coordinating DSP that I think fits with each others and layered it onto a Lemon Lolly cardstock. All the coffee cups here are from the DSP so no stamping necessary. I finished the cards with some dots and a sentiment! 5/27/2024 - Heart's Quest #55 - Camper Card

Another bi-weekly challenge here at Heart’s Quest and this week I picked Wheels (camper) & Metallic Heart Shape for my creation! It’s always a bit harder to create a masculine heart card so I am hoping to give you some inspration. The camper image is from a DSP die cut and I just added some elements for textures. To finish the card I used my heart punch with Metalicc Shimmer Paper and a simple love you sentiment. Hope you enjoyed this card I am sharing today and be sure to join us at the challenge!

5/27/24 - Atlantic Hearts Sketch #579 - You're Flippin' Awesome

Welcome back to another challenge at Atlantic Hearts Sketch and this week’s sketch is like a Faux Quit card technique where it’s a great way to use up some of your DSP scraps! I cut them down to ¾” wide and went to town with one of the retired masculine DSP. I also used the He’s the Men dies for accents and the greeting piece is a tear piece from DSP as well. 5/26/24 - 2024-2026 In-Colors with Perennial Postage Dies

Happy Sunday! Over  the weekend I decided to make some 2024-2025 In-Colors card using the pattern paper to showcase the design and this is what I came up with. Each stripes of DSP is 1” x 4 ½” and the white layering piece is 3 3/8” x 4 ¾”. I also cut out the butterfly and pop it on dimension. I saw a wonderful creation from Melissa Miller at TGIF challenge and decided to CASE it. Thanks for stopping by.

5/23/24 - CAS Colours & Sketches #537 - Pets & More It's Your Birthday

Another gorgeous Thursday here at Chicago area and today’s card is using CAS Colours & Sketches. I needed a kid’s birthday card this weekend for Hunter’s friend birthday so challenge is perfect for this. I used the backside of a flower pattern paper for the strips and the kitty is from Pets & More, an online exclusive stamp set! I cut out a fish and a tennis ball to add as an accent. I hope the birthday boy will enjoy this card!
